Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a container with a cut-off closure, consisting of a cup-shaped lower part, a film sealing the opening of the lower part and a cap-shaped lid arranged above the film and connected or connectable to the edge of the lower part. The cup-shaped lower part can consist of plastic, sheet metal or a paper-like material. The film can consist of aluminum or an aluminum laminate, in which at least one plastic layer is provided on the aluminum film. The film can be firmly connected to the edge of the cup-shaped lower part by gluing or heat sealing or welding. The cap-shaped cover can be made of a relatively stiff, but elastically flexible material, for example of plastic. The lid edge of the lid can be firmly connected to the edge of the cup-shaped lower part or can snap-fit together. The film can also be made of plastic or laminate.
Such containers are often used for packaging flowable goods, especially food. A difficulty is on the one hand opening the severable film closure and on the other hand the storage of remnants of the original packaging material without the risk of contamination or spoilage of this filling material.
It is an object of the invention to develop a container of the type specified at the outset in such a way that the difficulties outlined are avoided, the severing of the film is considerably simplified and facilitated and the possibility is created of resealing the container sufficiently securely with only partial removal of the filling material, to prevent contamination or premature spoilage of the remaining contents.
This object is achieved by the teaching of
The shape of the tab of the tab is an integral part of the cap and its shape is adapted both in the base area and in the cap area so that the tab is part of the cap body when closed.
The tab can be defined by a dividing line, but its end, which is preferably located approximately in the center of the bottom surface of the cap, is permanently connected to the floor via a hinge line. One or more predetermined breaking points can also be provided along the dividing line, which can be caused to break in when the tab is lifted for the first time. The closure thus ensures tamper-evident.
The dividing line between the flap and the cap body can be designed and the material of the cap body and the flap can be selected so that the flap is returned to the original closed position due to elastic restoring forces or by the operator and is snap-locked in this position with the opposite edges of the cap body can be.
The tab can have at least one further hinge line between its ends, so that the tab can perform certain relative movements between its sections when the closure is severed. These movements are necessary in order to automatically or simply break or cut through the sealing film underneath when the tab is lifted. This can be done in different ways. For this purpose, a severing element, preferably in the form of a downwardly projecting cutting edge, can be provided on the underside of the tab. However, a section of the flap lying approximately in the plane of the container edge and thus in the plane of the film can also be firmly connected to part of the film in such a way that the film is automatically severed when the flap is lifted. The area of the film to be cut can be firmly outlined via a predetermined breaking line.

In all embodiments, the
The axis of the container is designated by 2, while the container edge 3 shown is designed as an edge flange. A
As can be seen from FIGS. 3 and 4, a strip-
In order to prevent the lid base from springing back while the tab is being pressed in, the areas of the lid base outside the tab can be stiffened. In the example shown, a
As indicated by the arrow in FIG. 2, pressure is exerted on the
This position of the tab is shown in Fig. 4. The opening 20 in the film exposed by the cutting edge 14 can be seen in FIG. This opening can be designed as a pouring area 21 through a projecting area of the container edge, which is covered by the
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 5 to 9, the
The
To open, the
In the further modified embodiment according to FIG. 10, the
The film is labeled 54. A
Otherwise, the
In order to avoid contamination of the container or the lid edge, webs or ribs projecting downwards from the lid bottom, similar to those according to FIG Delimit a headspace area on the inside surface of the lid base. This limits the spread of the can contents, e.g. from the actuator.
It may also be advantageous to permanently connect the lid to the edge of the container.
