Description

The invention relates to a signal transmitter of road traffic technology with a low-voltage lamp holder for reflectors, the holder body being arranged with bottom and side contacts in the apex of the reflector.

To connect low-voltage lamps in light signal transmitters, special sockets are required that are attached to the reflectors. So far, four torn, tapered cylinder segments have been attached to the reflectors for receiving a cylindrical frame body. They allow the frame to be moved continuously within the reflector. The frame is adjusted to the corresponding light center using a gauge, i.e. arranged so that the inserted lamp came to lie in the focal point of the reflector in accordance with the reflector used. In this position, the socket was held in a force-locking manner by means of a metal clamping ring and a screw. A resilient ground contact and a resilient side contact contact the bayonet lamp base. The flexible connecting wires are electrically conductively connected to the contact springs via a line connection.

The object of the invention is to develop and design a lamp holder and corresponding reflectors for light signal transmitters of road traffic technology in such a way that a universal lamp holder for different types of reflectors and guaranteed sufficient contact force can be used without relaxation with simple yet reliable installation.

This object is achieved in the case of a signal transmitter described at the outset in that the socket body has a plurality of snap-in grooves on its outside with bearing surfaces for different reflectors, that the different reflectors have a flat surface at the apex with differently sized recesses and different corner contours, that at least one contact with the floor with at least a line connection in the socket body is arranged in guide grooves and generates a contact force against the lamp base with an associated compression spring, and that the side contact with at least one line connection has a contact tongue and can be locked in the socket body in lateral guide grooves in such a way that the contact tongue with the lamp base flap underneath Pressure force is in contact.

The signal transmitter designed according to the invention allows the use of the correspondingly redesigned flat and deep reflectors with a diameter of 200 or 300 mm with only one universal lamp holder body. The various reflectors have recesses of different sizes and different corner contours, which means that they can be used unmistakably in the snap-in groove in question. The socket body has corresponding snap-in grooves corresponding to these recesses and corner contours with corresponding contact surfaces which form an overlap between the socket and the reflector. With the invention, a latchable, universally usable low-voltage lamp holder has been designed for different reflectors with different sizes and shapes.

Appropriately, four snap-in grooves are provided for four different types of reflectors, which are arranged at certain intervals so that they correspond to the particular focal point for the different reflector sizes and shapes. This has the advantage that any reflector can be unmistakably snapped into place, so that the focal point of the reflector in question is always at the lamp location.

In an expedient embodiment of the invention, the ground contact is U-shaped and is arranged with its two legs in guide grooves. In this case, at least one leg has a latching tongue, which latches in the socket body, so that the ground contact is mounted in the socket body without additional assembly work or additional fastening means. In an expedient development of the invention, the U-shaped ground contact can have a crimp connection on one leg and a flat plug connection on the other leg, so that both connection options are provided.

So that reliable contact forces can be exerted by the contacts in the lamp holder on the contacts of the lamp base of the low-voltage lamp, a compression spring designed as a helical spring is arranged between the legs of the ground contact via a centering pin. This separate coil spring generates a contact force on the bayonet lamp base via the ground contact and the side contact, which ensures safe and reliable contact. A relaxation of the contact forces is excluded, especially if V2-A steel is used as the material for the coil spring.

The centering pin is usually arranged in the middle, along the central axis of the socket body. Accordingly, the guide grooves for the ground contact spring are arranged. In order to be able to actually use the lamp holder as a universal device, additional guide grooves and centering pins for ground contacts are provided off-center. This has the advantage that instead of the central ground contact, for example, two ground contacts can be introduced into the lamp holder off-center in order to use a double-filament lamp, for example for 40 volts. This has the advantage that the socket can be equipped and used either as a two-pole socket or as a three-pole socket with the same socket body and with the same ground contacts.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the socket body has a socket groove into which a locking tongue of the inserted and rotated reflector, which is formed on the reflector, can snap into place. This has the advantage that the reflector is securely locked in place and no further tools are required for assembly.

The lampholder body is expediently almost cylindrical, so that the new lamp holder can also be used for previous reflectors with torn cylinder segments and, as previously, can be fastened with a clamping ring and a screw.

A previous socket body with reflector is shown in FIGS. 1 to 3. The lamp socket 1 has a socket body 11, which is generally made of plastic and in which a side contact 15 and a bottom contact 12 are embedded. The spring force of the ground contact 12 must apply the necessary forces for a secure seat of the lamp when the bayonet lamp base 16 is inserted. The connecting wires 2 are connected, for example, to contacts 12 and 15 with a crimp fastening 2a. The reflector 9 is provided with four torn 1a, tapered 1b cylinder segments for receiving the cylindrical holder body 11. They offer a continuous possibility of displacement of the holder body 11 in the direction of the arrow. The holder body 11 is adjusted to the associated center of gravity by means of a gauge and held in this position by the screw 3 above the metal clamping ring 4 in a force-locking manner.

In FIG. 2, the bending yards 1d and in FIG. 3, the bending radii 1c are also drawn, which, due to the design, lead to distorted reflections and dark yards in the reflector 9. This has the disadvantage that uneven reflections occur in the reflectors used to date.

Dann erfolgt eine 45°-Drehung nach rechts, so daß der Reflektor in die vier Uberlappungsflächen 11b einläuft.4 shows the socket body 11 according to the invention in section with four different snap-in grooves 11a for four different reflectors 9a to 9d. The new flat and deep reflectors with a diameter of 200 mm and 300 mm have flat surfaces at their vertices, which are provided with recesses 8a to 8d of different sizes and four different corner contours 10a to 10d, as shown in FIGS. 6a to d is. The recesses 8a-d are different because the focal points and reflector sizes are different. The corresponding reflector is therefore unmistakably guided into its corresponding snap-in groove 11a, so that the filament of the low-voltage lamp is always at the focal point of the corresponding reflector. The four different snap-in grooves 11a have four surfaces 11b (FIGS. 5a to d) which allow an overlap between the holder and the reflector. The socket body 11 is inserted from behind in the reflector 9a to 9d until the reflector recess 8a to 8d with the corresponding corner contour 10a to 10d abut the snap-in groove 11a. Then there is a 45 ° rotation to the right so that the reflector runs into the four overlap surfaces 11b.

In this position, the reflector locking tongue 9e snaps into the socket groove 11c of the socket body 11 and locks the reflector layer. The ground contact 12 is U-shaped and centered on both sides in guide grooves 11d (FIG. 8). The base contact 12 can lock in the socket body 11 via the locking tongues 12a and 12b, which are formed on a respective leg of the U-shaped base contact 12. The ground contact 12 has a flat plug connection 12d on one side and a crimp connection 12c on the other side, so that one of the fastening types can be selected. For the bottom and side contact forces P1 and P2 on the bayonet lamp base 16, a separate compression spring 14 is arranged, which is centered by a pin 11e.

The side contact 15 leads and centers in the guide grooves 11f and engages in the insulating body 11 via the latching tongue 15a. The contact to the lamp base 16 takes place via the contact tongue 15b on the lamp base tab 16a. The side contact 15 has a flat plug connection 15c at the end and can additionally have a parallel connecting web (not specifically shown here) for receiving a connecting wire 2 for a crimp connection. Around the universally usable lamp base also for double filament lamps, e.g. for 40 volts, in addition to the central guide grooves 11d for the ground contact 12, there are two additional guide grooves 11g and 11h in the side of the socket body, into which two further ground contacts with helical springs 14 can be inserted via the pins 11i instead of the central ground contact 12 , intended. This can be clearly seen in FIGS. 7 and 8. The same socket body 11 and the same ground contacts 12 can therefore be used for the 40 volt lamp, they only have to be used accordingly.

The inventive design of the signal transmitter with new reflectors 9a to 9d and the corresponding lamp holder 1 brings a number of advantages. The holder 1 or the holder body 11 is fixed sufficiently firmly in the corresponding reflector dimensions 8a-d, 10a-d without additional fastening means. The mounting position of the socket body always ensures the horizontal filament position in the parabolic focal point for the corresponding reflectors, without the various reflectors being able to be used incorrectly.

The lamp holder 1 according to the invention can also be used for the previous reflectors 9 with torn cylinder segments 1a, b according to the method described at the beginning. It is then attached as before via the metal clamping ring 4 with the screw 3.

The use of its own helical spring 14 has the advantage that the contact forces P1, P2 no longer have to be generated by the spring force of the contact parts themselves. No separate additional parts are required to hold the contacts 12, 15. They snap into the socket body 11 via the corresponding locking tongues 12a, b; 15a on the contacts. The U-shaped ground contact 12 allows a stroke s, which is necessary in order to be able to accommodate the overstroke of the bayonet lock of the side lamp contact 16a. An almost uniform reflection is guaranteed up to the parabolic end of the reflector, because no bending radii and bending areas can lead to reflection distortions.
