Claims (9)

1. A gripper for a weaving machine with weft feed through carrier members which are able to be pushed back and forth in an alternating manner into the weaving compartment, with grippers arranged at its end, in which on the side wall of the gripper in each case at least one guide piece is arranged, with which the gripper slides along the reed, characterised in that the guide piece (8, 9) is mounted on the side wall (2) of the gripper (1) so as to be tiltable transversely to the feed direction (14).
2. A gripper according to claim 1, characterised in that the guide piece (8, 9) is tiltable about its elastic attachment (stretch rubber 3) on the side wall (2) of the gripper (1) as a swivel bearing.
3. A gripper according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that for the tiltable mounting of the guide piece (8) a free position (11, 15) is arranged between the guide piece (8) and the facing side wall (2) of the gripper (1) on the guide piece (8) or in the side wall (2).
4. A gripper according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that for the tiltable mounting of the guide piece (8, 9) an elastic insert (10) is arranged between the guide piece (8, 9) and the side wall (2).
5. A gripper according to claim 1, characterised in that the guide piece (8, 9) is mounted rotatably on an axis (17) at both ends on the side wall (2).
6. A gripper according to claim 1, characterised in that the guide piece (8, 9) has a sandwich structure, consisting of outer faces (19) of hard material and an elastic insert (18) of soft material.
7. A gripper according to claim 1, characterised in that the side wall (2) is mounted with the guide piece (8, 9) by means of swivel joints (20) on the gripper (1).
8. A gripper according to claim 7, characterised in that the side wall (2) is supported against the gripper (1) by means of a spring (21).
9. A gripper according to one of claims 3 to 8, characterised in that the guide piece (8) is mounted so as to be orientable about its longitudinal axis in that firstly an elastic insert (10) is arranged between the guide piece (8, 9) and the side wall (2), and that additionally the guide piece has at least one upper and/or lower free position (11, 11′) running parallel to the longitudinal axis (Fig. 8, 9).
