Claims (8)

1. characterised in that,
with the exception of enlarged grip portions (20), the partitions (8) are substantially adapted to the contour of essentially circular loaves of bread and are lower in height than the essentially circular loaves of bread.
2. A basket according to Claim 1, characterised in that at least one column (26, 28) for the stable stacking of a plurality of similar baskets extends from the base (2), thereby preventing their bases (2) from bending, in cooperation with the upper and lower boundary surfaces (30, 32) of the side walls (4, 6) and inwardly displaced feet (34) next to the corner regions (38) of the underside (36) of the base (2).

7. A basket according to any one of Claims 2 to 6, characterised in that the at least one column (26, 28) comprises a hollow cylinder which is formed in one piece with the base (2), and is closed in one piece at the top and closed by a separate cover at the bottom.
