Wird im Schuppenstrom auf dem an den Falzapparat anschließenden Auslegeband eine Schieflage der Exemplare festgestellt, so kann über eine Veränderung des Sockelwertes 44 an derjeniger der Steuereinrichtungen 43, die die Position der Bremszunge 12 auf der Seite der vorauseilenden Vorderkante steuert, eine stärkere Abbremsung als auf der anderen Seite bewirkt werden. Die noch im Falzapparat befindlichen Restexemplare, die aus dem vor der Rißstelle gelegenen Bahnabschnitt hergestellt werden, können dadurch ungehindert ins Schaufelrad fallen. Claims (11)

  1. Vane wheel sheet depositing device for folded copies having several vane wheel discs (8) axially spaced apart from each other by intermediate spaces and arranged to rotate on a common axis, each of which carries, distributed uniformly over the circumference, several vanes (9), each two adjacent vanes of which form a gap (11) for receiving a folded copy (1), and having an ejector tongue (49) which ejects the copy out of the gap (11), characterised in that one or several brake tongues (12) are arranged in the intermediate spaces, their outer contour facing the folded copy narrowing the gap (11) in axial projection at least in a specific angular range of rotation of the vane wheel discs (8), and in that the outer contour of the brake tongues (12) at least in the run-in region of the folded copies (1) into the gap (11) between a vane (9) and the brake tongue (12) is designed so that the angle of intersection α which it forms in axial projection with the inner side (91) of the vane (9) continuously increases as the vane (9) is further rotated.
  2. Vane wheel sheet depositing device according to claim 1, characterised in that the brake tongue (12) is displaceably arranged to vary the width of the gap (11).
  3. Vane wheel sheet depositing device according to claim 2, characterised in that the width of the gap (11) can be adjusted in dependence on the thickness of the folded copy (1).
  4. Vane wheel sheet depositing device according to at least one of claims 2 or 3, characterised in that the width of the gap (11) can be adjusted in dependence on the rotary speed of the machine.
  5. Vane wheel sheet depositing device according to at least one of claims 2, 3 or 4, characterised in that the brake tongue (12) can be shifted by an electrical servo motor (20).
  6. Vane wheel sheet depositing device according to claim 5, characterised in that the servo motor (20) can be controlled by an electronic control device (43) which calculates a desired value for the position of the brake tongue (12) from a base value (44) dependent on copy thickness and a speed-dependent value (45), and to which an actual value (46), produced from a rotary potentiometer (21) coupled via a gear wheel (25) and a pinion (23) to the servo motor (20), can be conveyed as a further input signal.
  7. Vane wheel sheet depositing device according to at least one of claims 2 to 6, characterised in that a carrier arm (13) carrying the brake tongue (12) is suspended on two parallel leaf springs (15, 16) forming a parallelogram with the shift direction.
  8. Vane wheel sheet depositing device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that in the case of a tear in the web, the brake tongue (12) can be moved immediately out of the gap formed by two adjacent vanes (9, 10).
  9. Vane wheel sheet depositing device according to claim 6 and 8, characterised in that an emergency stop signal (48) produced as a further input signal by a web tension measuring device can be conveyed to the electronic control device (43).
  10. Vane wheel sheet depositing device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the vanes (9, 10) have a curved shape.
  11. Vane wheel sheet depositing device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that two brake tongues (12), whose servo motors (20) can be controlled by two different control devices (43), can be moved to different positions for aligning folded copies falling obliquely into the vane wheel.
