Definitions

  • the invention relates to a ventilation grille for oblique arrangement, for an air flow directed from the outside in, in which an outer and a middle row of slats are in a gap with each other, in which the slats of an inner row opposite the slats of the outer row, in which the cross section the slats of the inner and middle rows has the shape of an outwardly open V, and in which a partition extends between each slat of the outer row and the opposite slat of the inner row.
  • the ventilation grille is used to remove water, snow and dust from the intake air for cooling traction motors or transformers, e.g. to separate from vehicles.
  • a known (DE-A-26 06 429) ventilation grille of this type the middle slat ends inwards with the V-tip and the space behind the middle slat and the associated two inner slats is free. If the ventilation grille is installed in a sloping roof, i.e. is used with an inclined grating plane with respect to a horizontal, then water can pass through the middle slats and also the inner slats when there is a lot of water in the air flow.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to provide a ventilation grille of the type mentioned, in which water, which passes through the outer slats and is not excreted by the middle and inner slats, is nevertheless excreted from the ventilation grille, with as little impairment of the others as possible Properties of the ventilation grille.
  • the ventilation grille according to the invention is to solve this problem, characterized in that each middle lamella at the V-tip has an inwardly projecting web between two associated inner lamellas, which carries a groove which is open to the outside and parallel across the lamellae the ventilation grille extends.
  • the web prevents air flow with undetected water from passing between the inner fins and the inner channels, even when the ventilation grille is arranged at an angle.
  • the ventilation grille is installed with an inclined arrangement of less than 45 ° with respect to a horizontal. With such a steep incline, a lot of water passes through all three rows of slats, which is why the additional inner channels are particularly advantageous.
  • the inner channels can be spaced outwards from the plane determined by the inner lamellae from the V-tips. However, it is particularly expedient and advantageous if the inner channels are delimited inwards by the plane determined by the V tips of the inner lamellae. With this arrangement, the air flow through the ventilation grille is least affected by the inner channels.
  • the inner channel has a maximum distance from the two adjacent inner slats.
  • the width of the inner channel is less than 2/3 of the width of the inner lamella.
  • the passage of the air flow through the ventilation grille is less impaired by keeping the width of the inner channel small.
  • the distance of the channel from the adjacent inner lamella is equal to its distance from the assigned central lamella or the distance of this assigned middle lamella from the outer lamella assigned to said inner lamella. As long as the distance between the inner channel and the adjacent inner lamella is equal to or greater than the two other distances mentioned, the air throughput through the ventilation grille is not impaired by the additional inner channel.
  • the inner gutter is e.g. in cross-section semicircular like a gutter. It is particularly expedient and advantageous if the cross section of each inner channel has essentially the shape of a V with an angle of approximately 90 °. This design improves the stability of the inner gutter.
  • the ventilation grille has a frame that receives the slats and the channels, which corresponds to the Inclined arrangement of the ventilation grille is designed at least in the lower area so that the separated and drained water can flow out to the bottom.
  • the cross section of the outer slats is not of crucial importance in connection with the invention and is, for example, V-shaped in a known (DE-A-26 06 429) manner.
  • a ventilation grille according to the drawing has a frame 1 with a rectangular cross section with a lower cross strut 2, two side struts 3 and an upper cross strut, not shown.
  • the ventilation grille is arranged at an angle of approx. 30 ° to a horizontal.
  • the lower cross strut 2 lies essentially in a horizontal plane.
  • a projection 4 is provided on the inner edge of the lower cross strut 2, which protrudes somewhat into the opening delimited by the frame and prevents water which is located on the lower cross strut from flowing into the interior.
  • an extension bar 5 is provided, which is used to fasten the ventilation grille in a wall.
  • An outer row 6 of slats 7, a middle row 8 of slats 9 and an inner row 10 of slats 11 are provided in the frame 1, the slats each being arranged parallel to one another.
  • the outer slats 7 are each essentially formed flat or strip-like and carry a guide bead 12 on the outside at the edge, whereby a channel for draining water is formed.
  • Two adjacent outer slats 7 are each arranged at a distance from one another which corresponds to the width of the outer slats.
  • the central lamellae 9 are V-shaped in cross-section, the V forming an angle of approximately 90 °.
  • the middle lamellae 9 are of equal width to one another, have a distance from one another corresponding to this width and each extend straight across the gap between two outer lamellae 7.
  • the inner lamellae 11 are V-shaped in cross section, the V being an angle of approximately 60 ° forms.
  • the inner lamellae 11 are of equal width to one another, have a distance from one another corresponding to this width and each extend straight across the gap between two middle lamellae 9.
  • a partition 13 runs between the angular area of each inner lamella 11 and the center area of the associated outer lamellae 7 .
  • each central lamella 9 there is a web 14 on its V-tip 16, which extends over the height of the ventilation grille or over the length of the inner lamellae 9.
  • the web 14 extends straight to the inner end region of the ventilation grille and merges there into a groove 15 which extends across the ventilation grille or across the length of the slats.
  • the cross section of the channel 15 is essentially V-shaped and the web 14 meets the central region of the channel.
  • the inward V-tip of the inner groove 15 lies in the same plane as the V-tips 17 of the inner fins 11.
  • the width of the channel 15 is approximately equal to half the distance between two adjacent fins 11 or approximately equal to half the width of the inner fins 11.
  • each inner lamella 11 or its one V-leg and the V-tips 16 of the middle lamella 9 there is a distance 18 which is crossed by the web 14.
  • Each channel 15 is at a distance 19 from the adjacent inner lamella 11.
  • Each inner lamella 11 or its V-leg is at a distance 20 from the adjacent central lamella 9.
  • Each middle lamella 9 or its V-leg is at a distance 21 from the outer lamella 7.
