Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft einen Warmwasserspeicher mit einer von der Temperatur des Speicherwassers mittels eines im mittleren oder oberen Bereich des Speicherraums angeordneten, die Temperatur des zu zapfenden Brauchwassers überwachenden Thermostaten, und eines im Bodenbereich des Speicherraums angeordneten, die Unterschreitung eines Temperaturgrenzwertes in diesem Bodenbereich überwachenden Thermostaten gesteuerten Beheizung.
- Ein solcher Warmwasserspeicher ist bekanntgeworden aus der DE-OS 3346513. Hier findet zur Beheizung des Speichers eine Wärmepumpe Anwendung, und zwischen den beiden Fühlern wird umgeschaltet, um entweder bei geringem Warmwasserbedarf eine kleine Wassermenge hoher Temperatur oder bei großem Wasserbedarf eine gesteigerte Menge erwärmten Wassers bereitstellen zu können.
- Aus der DE-OS 2923488 ist ein gasbeheizter Warmwasserspeicher bekanntgeworden, der sowohl Brauchwasser speichern kann als auch Wärme an das Umlaufwasser einer Heizungsanlage abgeben kann.
- Um letzteres zu bewerkstelligen, ist der Motor einer Umwälzpumpe des Heizungssystems von einem Temperaturfühler beaufschlagt, der den Innenraum des Speichers abfühlt. Daneben ist ein zweiter Temperaturfühler vorhanden, der die Beheizung des Speichers steuert.
- Schließlich ist aus der DE-OS 3310023 ein direkt beheizter Warmwasserspeicher bekanntgeworden, bei dem drei Temperaturfühler vorgesehen sind, die in Verbindung mit einem Feuerungsautomaten die Beheizung des Speichers steuern.
- Es ist Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, den Bodenbereich des Heißwasserspeichers, der durch das einströmende Kaltwasser bei Brauchwasserzapfung häufig kühl wird beziehungsweise sich nicht ausreichend erwärmt, von Zeit zu Zeit auf eine höhere Temperatur aufzuheizen, um die Vermehrung der die sogenannte Legionärskrankheit verursachenden Bakterien zu unterbinden.
- Die Lösung der Aufgabe erfolgt erfindungsgemäß dadurch, daß der untere Thermostat mit einem Zeitglied gekoppelt ist, das eine Beheizung des Speicherwassers nur dann einschaltet, wenn innerhalb einer vorgegebenen Zeitspanne keine durch den im mittleren oder oberen Bereich des Speicherraums angeordneten Thermostaten gesteuerte Beheizung eingetreten ist.
- Durch diese Ausgestaltung ist es möglich, innerhalb wählbarer Zeiträume abzufragen, ob der Speicher nachgeheizt wurde. Ist dies nicht geschehen, so wird über das Zeitglied die Beheizung so freigegeben, daß der gesamte Speicherinhalt auf eine die Abtötung der Bakterien gewährleistende Temperatur aufgeheizt wird.
- Die einzige Zeichnungsfigur stellt in einem schematischen Vertikalschnitt einen Speicherbehälter 1 mit einem Doppelboden 2 dar. In den Speicherraum 3 dieses Speicherbehälters 1 mündet die Vorlaufleitung 4 eines nicht dargestellten brennerbeheizten Wasserheizers, dessen Heißwasser den Speicherraum 3 zum Aufheizen des Speicherwassers in einer Wendel 5 durchströmt und sodann in der die Speicherdecke 6 durchsetzenden Rücklaufleitung 7 zum Wasserheizer zurückströmt. Eine Kaltwasserzufuhrleitung 8 durchsetzt ebenfalls die Speicherdecke 6 und mündet in den Bodenbereich des Speicherraumes 3. Eine Brauchwasserzapfleitung 9 geht von der Speicherdecke 6 aus.
- Zur Überwachung der Temperatur des zu zapfenden Brauchwassers ist ― wie üblich ― ein Thermostat 10 im mittleren oder oberen Bereich des Speicherraumes 3 angeordnet. Bei Unterschreitung eines Temperaturgrenzwertes schaltet er die Beheizung des Speicherwassers durch das die Wendel 5 durchströmende Heißwasser ein, und bei Erreichen eines oberen Grenzwertes schaltet er die Beheizung ab.
- Der untere zusätzliche Thermostat 11 im Bodenbereich sorgt hingegen dafür, daß die Wassertemperatur in diesem Bodenbereich nicht auf allzulange, eine Entwicklung von Kleinstlebewesen ermöglichende Dauer unterhalb eines die Entwicklung ermöglichenden Grenzwert absinkt. Zu diesem Zweck kann dieser Thermostat 11 mit einem Zeitglied gekoppelt werden, das eine von diesem Thermostaten 11 gesteuerte Beheizung des Speicherwassers nur dann veranlaßt, wenn innerhalb einer vorgegebenen Zeitspanne keine durch den oberen Thermostaten 10 gesteuerte Beheizung eingetreten ist.
- Durch dieses Zusammenwirken der beiden Thermostaten 10 und 11 werden demnach für die Entwicklung von Kleinstlebewesen erforderliche Mindestverweilzeiten, in denen die Temperatur den für die Keimtötung erforderlichen Mindestwert unterschreitet, zuverlässig vermieden.
