Bei der bekannten Vorrichtung be­ginnt die ein Öffnen der Lüfterklappen bewirkende Verformung des Bimetallstreifens frühestens nach 60 Sekunden; sobald der Bimetallstreifen seine Sättigungstemperatur erreicht hat, sind die Lüfterklappen vollständig geöffnet. Dieses verhältnismäßig langsame Öffnen der Lüfterklappen macht es erforderlich, daß der Elektromotor verzögert angeschaltet werden muß. Dazu ist auf dem Bimetallstreifen im Bereich des Heizelementes ein Thermoschalter angeordnet, der beispielsweise bei einer Tem­peratur von 60 Grad Celsius anspricht und den Stromkreis für den Elektromotor schließt, so daß das Lüfterrad in Betrieb ge­setzt wird. Zusätzlich hat der Thermoschalter noch die Auf­gabe, die Stromzufuhr zum Elektromotor des Lüfters auch noch für eine gewisse Nachlaufzeit sicherzustellen. Sobald der Thermoschalter eine Temperatur von beispielsweise unter 50 Grad Celsius unterschreitet, wird der Stromkreis für den Elek­tromotor wieder unterbrochen und damit das Lüfterrad stillge­setzt.Such a device is known from DE-0S 31 00 232. daß mit Abstand von dem ersten Heizelement (9) ein zweites Heizelement (10) auf dem Bimetallstreifen (7) angeordnet ist.
