Solche kurvenfahrenden Regalförderzeuge mit einer konventionellen Lenkkinematik weisen neben den bereits erwähnten Mängeln den Nachteil auf, daß der Quergang eine gewisse Mindestbreite aufweisen muß, um die Kurvenfahrt zu ermöglichen, wobei dennoch stets Rangierbewegungen notwendig sind, die umso häufiger und infolgedessen auch zeitraubender sind, je enger der Quergang ist.
