Claims (5)

1. Industrielles Verfahren zur Herstellung von Nieten durch Gesenkverformung eines zylinderförmigen Rohlings (2′) in einer Abdruckform (4′) einer Matrize (5′), bei welchem das eine Ende (3′) des Rohlings (2′) an eine mit einer Ausnehmung versehene Oberfläche (12) zur Anlage gebracht wird, deren Gestalt im wesentlichen komplementär zu der des Nietrohlings ist, wobei die mit der Ausnehmung (12) versehene Oberfläche am Ende eines einen Auswerfer (7′) bildenden zylindrischen Teils angeformt ist, der in der Abdruckform (4′) angebracht ist, und wobei die Geometrie der mit der Ausnehmung (12) versehenen Oberfläche unter der vom anderen Ende des Rohlings her eingeleiteten Druckbeanspruchung bei der Gesenkverformung derart veränderbar ist, daß ein Selbstabdichtungseffekt zwischen dem aktiven Ende (S1 - Sn) des Auswerfers und der Seitenwand der Abdruckform der Matrize (5′) während der gesamten Dauer der Gesenkverformung und des Auswurfs des auf diese Art und Weise erhaltenen Niets erreicht wird.
2. Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens nach Anspruch 1, bestehend aus einer Matrize (5′) mit einer Abdruckform (4′), einem Stempel (6′) und einem Auswerfer (7′), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Abdruckform (4′, 4′a) eine zylindrische Bohrung ist, deren Durchmesser über ihre gesamte Länge konstant ist, und die den Rohling und den Auswerfer (7′) aufnimmt, wobei der Auswerfer ein Endstück mit einer Ausnehmung (12) aufweist, die durch einen Rotationskörper begrenzt ist, dessen Form im wesentlichen komplementär zu derjenigen des Nietrohlings (3′) ist, wobei der Rotationskörper von "gleicher Biegefestigkeit" ist und unter Einwirkung der auf das Ende des Nietrohlings bei der Gesenkverformung ausgeübten Kraft ebenso wie beim Auswurf des so erhaltenen Niets verformbar ist, um sich an die Seitenwände der Abdruckform (4′, 4′a) derart anzulegen, daß eine Selbstabdichtung erreicht wird, wobei der Auswerfer (7′) einen Durchmesser aufweist, der beinahe gleich der Bohrung ist und in dieser verstell- und einstellbar geführt ist.
3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ausnehmung (12) in der Oberfläche des Auswerfers (7′) drehsymmetrisch, kegelstumpfförmig, mit gerader, gebogener oder komplexer Mantellinie ausgebildet ist und der Boden dieser Oberfläche flach oder konkav geformt ist.
4. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schnittlinie des zylinderförmigen Volumens des Auswerfers (7′) mit der Ausnehmung (12) in der Oberfläche einen scharfen, kreisförmigen Grat (13) bildet, der in einer Ebene senkrecht zur X-X-Achse der Abdruckform (4′) liegt.
5. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Auswerfer (7′) zum Zeitpunkt der Gesenkverformung mit einer Länge in die Zylinderbohrung hinein vorsteht, die wenigstens ungefähr das 3,5fache des Durchmessers dieser Zylinderbohrung beträgt.
