Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a security fitting for door locks provided with a profile lock cylinder, with at least the front end of the cylinder housing leaving a recess of a door plate, which has a front of the outer contour profile of the cylinder housing and thus preventing it from being pulled out violently, the front end of the cylinder housing having the The outer surface of the door plate is arranged approximately flush, and wherein the cylinder housing has at least one end longitudinally limited circumferential recess in which the plate section engages.
Profile lock cylinders are generally known for security locks. The associated key has incisions designed in such a way that the pin tumblers consisting of housing pins and core pins are shifted against a spring load with the aid of this key to such an extent that the separation points between a housing pin and a core pin coincide with the interface between the cylinder core and the cylinder housing. Then the cylinder core can be turned with the key and a lock bit located on the core actuates the associated lock, for example in the opening direction.
One method of forcibly opening the lock without an associated key is to pull out the cylinder core by force, thereby creating access to the lock bit and thus opening the lock. This violent pulling out takes place, for example, in such a way that a cutting member, for example a screw, is screwed into the key channel and, after screwing in, serves to forcefully pull the cylinder core out of the cylinder housing. During this violent pulling out, the locking pins of the pin tumblers are sheared off, and even a locking ring that serves to axially fix the rotatable cylinder core in the cylinder housing cannot prevent this violent pulling out of the cylinder core. It has therefore already been proposed to prevent the violent pulling out of the cylinder core from the cylinder housing in that both have a positive connection preventing this pulling out, for example a conical outer circumference of the cylinder core tapering on the key insertion side with a matching inner circumference of the cylinder housing. As a result, the cylinder core is now secured against being pulled out by force, but not the cylinder housing.
In order to secure the cylinder housing against violent pulling out of the door lock, it is generally known to design the door plate of the security fitting mentioned at the outset in such a way that it only has a circular hole for inserting and rotating the key shaft. The thickness of the door plate means that the profile locking cylinder or its front end is set back by a piece corresponding approximately to the thickness of the door plate, so that either the key shank is long enough or the bore must be made sufficiently large. In addition, difficulties can arise when inserting and turning the key, especially if the bore is covered by a plate-shaped, rotatable cover plate which is arranged flush with the outer surface of the door plate and has only one slot for inserting the key shaft.
Der bekannte Sicherheitsbeschlag erscheint daher noch verbesserungsbedürftig.DE 28 20 742 A1 discloses a security fitting with the features mentioned at the beginning, in which the housing web of the cylinder housing is shortened compared to the circular-cylindrical housing part. A shield section which completely covers the housing web engages in the end-side recess of the cylinder housing formed in this way. This section of the shield is thinner than the rest of the shield is thick. The known security fitting therefore still needs to be improved.
In contrast, the invention has for its object to improve a security fitting of the type mentioned so that the violent pulling out of the lock cylinder housing is prevented without interventions or measures on the key or on the door plate.
This object is achieved in that the cylinder housing has at least one groove which is open at the end and parallel to the core and which is approximately the length of a shield and the corresponding engaging shield section is profiled accordingly.
It is important for the invention that the front end of the cylinder housing is arranged approximately flush with the outer surface of the door plate. It is understood, for example, to be flush that the front end can protrude or protrude a few millimeters due to tolerance or size. Under these conditions, conventional keys can be used to actuate the lock cylinder or the cylinder core.
It is of further importance that the cylinder housing has a limited longitudinal deep frontal circumferential recess in which the shield section preventing the violent pulling out engages. For this purpose, the shield section is supported on the bottom of the half-pocket-like peripheral recess.
So it is ensured by changing the shape of the cylinder housing in connection with an adaptation of the shield for an axially positive and thus preventing the violent pulling out design of the cylinder housing and door plate. The modification is a recess in which the recessed housing material is present on the shield as a securing shield section. Nevertheless, the desired goal of maintaining conventional key designs can be achieved. In addition, the engaging shield sections can secure the cylinder or the cylinder housing against movements that can lead to a downward bending of the cylinder housing in the area of the threaded bore of the housing web for the forend screw. This securing is particularly necessary if there are larger tolerances between the cylinder housing and the cutout of the door plate provided for this purpose, which therefore allow such relative movements between the cylinder housing and the door plate that lead to stresses on the housing or the housing web in the area of its threaded bore for the faceplate screw. In addition, the shield sections have a warning function, because it is obvious that the cylinder or fitting in question is a security cylinder or fitting, which attempts to break in are deterred from the outset.
Because the cylinder housing has at least one groove that is open at the end and parallel to the core, which is approximately the length of a shield and the corresponding engaging shield section is profiled, the profile lock cylinder can be installed in the usual manner in the door lock or in the lock case, namely from both sides. The production of the groove is not very complex and is possible on the cylinder housing without its undue weakening. The shield section can be produced in one step with the manufacture of the door shield required form are brought. It is particularly advantageous if there are two identically profiled grooves in each of the two opposite outer walls of the housing web of the cylinder housing, and that the door plate has four corresponding plate sections. This results in a symmetrical and thus occurring load evenly distributing design of the cylinder housing and door plate with a handsome design that clarifies the safety function.
