Abstract

Eine Schleifscheibe (10) ist mit einer umlaufenden Bearbeitungsfläche (30, 31) aus einem Schleifmaterial und mit einer zentrischen Aufnahmeöffnung mit metallischer Aufnahmefläche versehen.
Um die mechanische Stabilität der Schleifscheibe zu erhöhen und damit insbesondere ein Außenrundschleifen mit extrem hohen Zeitspanungsvolumina zu ermöglichen, ist die Schleifscheibe (10) als Metallscheibe (16) ausgebildet und an ihrem Umfang mit einem schmalen Rand (13) aus Schleifmaterial versehen.
