Description

The invention relates to a cistern according to the preamble of independent claim 1.

Such a cistern has become known from the prior art by CH-A-586 328. To hold the insulation body, two holding plates are provided, which are welded to the box body after the insulation body is inserted and cover the insulation body at the upper edge. This type of fastening is complex and also has the further disadvantage that the insulation body cannot be replaced without destroying or damaging the box body. In the case of simpler cisterns such as US Pat. No. 4,536,901 and US Pat. No. 3,965,493, the insulation body is placed in the box body without fastening for these reasons. However, gaps between the insulation and box body cannot be avoided here. These reduce the interior of the cistern, which has to be built accordingly larger. This necessitates greater material consumption and higher transportation costs. Cisterns should also be used for aesthetic and architectural reasons.

A cistern is also known, in which the insulation body is glued to the cistern body. This insulation body can also not be replaced without damage.

The invention is therefore based on the object of creating a cistern of the type mentioned at the outset which avoids these disadvantages. The cistern should also be designed so that the installation of the insulation body can be automated. During the automatic assembly of the cistern and during repair and revision work, the risk of damage to the cistern body and the insulation body should be low, even if it consists of comparatively fragile material.

The object is achieved by the invention according to claim 1.

The insulation body can be inserted into the box body in a linear movement from above and can also be replaced without damage and without tools. Elaborate welding and gluing work are avoided. The groove in the box body stiffens it.

Through the development according to claim 2, it is possible to easily insert and replace the insulation body in a particularly gentle manner in the box body.

Through the developments according to claims 3 and 4, the groove is realized in a structurally simple manner. The webs also increase the rigidity of the box body.

The development according to claim 5 results in a particularly stable connection between the insulation and box body.

Through the developments according to claims 6 to 8, a tight and detachable fastening of the insulation body to the cistern floor is realized in a structurally simple manner.

If the drain fitting is fastened to the box base according to claim 8, it can be released by simply tilting it to replace the insulating body without tools. The insulation body is then free and can be lifted out of the box body. During assembly, after the insulation body is inserted, the pop-up waste is fastened to the bottom of the box in a simple and automatable manner, whereby a permanent seal is created between the insulation body and the box body. At the same time, the insulation body is fixed to the bottom of the box by the drain fitting.

Exemplary embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. Show it:
  • 1 shows a section through an insulation body,
  • 2 is a view of the insulation body,
  • 3 is a view of a partially cut half of a box body,
  • Fig. 4 is a partial view of a partially sectioned box body, and
  • 5 shows a section through part of the box body,
  • Fig. 6 partial sections through part of the cistern, and
  • 7 is a partial section through the cistern along the line VII-VII of FIG. 1st

The insulation body 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is made of a rigid foam based on polystyrene or another suitable plastic and has an outer shape which largely corresponds to the inner shape of the box body 2. The wall thickness is about 5 mm. In the bottom 3 there is a circular opening 4 into which a drain fitting 17 is inserted. A likewise circular, integrally formed sealing lip 19 is arranged on the underside of the base 3. When the drain fitting 17 is inserted, this sealing lip 19 rests against the bottom 11 of the box body 2 and prevents water from being able to get between the insulation body 1 and the box body from the opening 4.

On the outside of the rear wall 9 of the insulating body 1 there are two grooves 6 which are symmetrical with respect to its mirror plane and which extend from the bottom 3 to the edge 21 and which taper conically towards the edge 21. A counterpart 5, which also extends from the bottom 3 to the edge 21, is formed between the grooves 6, which protrudes somewhat on the back of the rear wall 9 and which partially covers the grooves 6. On the inside of the insulation body, between the grooves 6 there is a depression 8 which tapers conically towards the bottom 3 and is partially formed by walls 7 projecting inwards. As can be clearly seen in FIG. 2, the wall thickness of the insulation body is also not greater in the region of the grooves 6 and the counterpart 5 than elsewhere. At a distance from the counterpart 5, two further strip-shaped and also mirror-symmetrical depressions 22 are arranged on the outside of the rear wall 9, which are complementary to two groove bottoms 23 attached to the box body 2. The grooves mentioned stiffen the insulation body.

The box body 2 shown in FIGS. 3 to 5 has an opening 10 in the bottom 11, into which the drain fitting 17 according to FIG. 6 is inserted.

The mirror-symmetrically designed rear wall 12 of the box body 2 has on the inside a groove 13 which extends from the bottom 11 to the edge 21 and which tapers conically towards the bottom 11. The groove 13 is partially covered by two webs 14 formed on the inside of the rear wall 12, which are complementary to the grooves 6 of the insulation body. The groove 13 thus has the shape of a dovetail groove that tapers in the longitudinal direction. When the insulation body 1 is inserted, the mutual toothing shown in FIG. 7 between the latter and the box body 2 thus results. It is also conceivable to arrange the counterpart 5 on the box body 2 and the groove 13 on the insulation body 1. The webs 14 surround a cavity 16, which is open at the bottom, on the outside of the cistern. 3 and 5, the groove bottom 23 is recessed in the rear wall 12 and this is correspondingly increased on its outside.

According to FIG. 6, the drain fitting 17 has a circular, radially projecting collar 18 on which a likewise circular web 20 is integrally formed at the bottom. The web 20 is connected in a latching manner to four webs 15 formed on the box body 2. The webs 15 are dimensioned such that the collar 18 presses the insulation body 2 against the inside of the base 11 while pressing the sealing lip 19. The gap behind the sealing lip 19 shown in FIG. 6 for drawing reasons does not really exist or is smaller.

The counterpart 5 and the groove 13 are dimensioned such that there is an adhesive force in the area of the groove 13 between the insulation body 1 and the box body 2, which prevents the movement of the two bodies against one another. The adhesive force can be increased by excessive.
