Definitions

  • the invention relates to a punch punch with a releasably snapped on a punch lower part of the cut pan of the type specified in the preamble of claim 1.
  • the chip pans of such punchers usually consist of a flexible plastic which, for the purpose of emptying, makes it possible to detach the chip tray from the lower part of the punch without great effort.
  • the schnitzel pan will be detached abruptly and the contents may be accidentally scattered.
  • the schnitzel pan is snapped there with a circumferential bead on a base edge of the perforated lower part which projects outwards. There are therefore no precautions which would prevent the chips pan from loosening on the wrong side or even pulling off the entire chips pan. Operating errors are therefore inevitable.
  • the invention has for its object to improve the known letter punch of the type mentioned in that incorrect handling during the emptying process can be avoided by incorrectly opening or accidentally pulling out the chips pan.
  • the invention is essentially based on the idea that incorrect operation during the emptying process can be prevented by the fact that the chip pan and the punch lower part have a positive connection in the area between the bending axis and the front wall, which are unsolvable when the rear chip pan part is loosened and folded down.
  • the chip pan in the front part has a transverse wall or cross rib, preferably arranged at a distance from the bending axis, formed on the side walls and / or on the pan bottom, in which at least one is open towards the rear of the chip pan and an upwardly closed or undercut recess or depression for the engagement of at least one anchoring cam arranged on the lower part of the hole at a distance from the front wall and facing the front wall.
  • reinforcing ribs connected up to the bending axis are formed on the outer surface of the transverse wall or transverse rib facing the web.
  • One of the anchoring cams is advantageously arranged in the region of the rear edge of a recess of the downwardly bent side edges of the perforated lower part which is open at the bottom and is suitable for the passage of a stop rail.
  • a further relief during the emptying process while avoiding incorrect operation is achieved in that, in the rear area of the chips pan, an engagement member engaging in a recess of the perforator lower part that is open towards the rear and having the shape of a button, optionally with a handle recess that is open at the bottom, is arranged for the foldable chip pan part.
  • the stop rail serving as a side guide, one of which , the bending axis adjacent transverse wall or rib has the recess or recess for the anchoring cams.
  • the transverse walls or transverse ribs can be connected to one another at their edges opposite the pan bottom by at least one connecting web.
  • On the inside of the schnitzel pan bottom and / or the transverse walls or ribs and / or the connecting web can be arranged at a distance from each other Locking depressions or locking stops for at least one locking pin arranged on the stop rail can be arranged.
  • overlapping recesses are arranged on at least one side wall of the chip pan and on the adjacent side edge of the punch lower part, through which the stop rail engages to produce a locking connection between the front region of the chip pan and the punch lower part.
  • the bottom part 10 of a letter punch shown in the drawing has downwardly curved side edges 12, over which a chips pan 14 is slipped from below, the side and end side walls 16 ', 16', 17 of which overlap the side edges 12 of the base plate.
  • the hole punch 10 is preferably made of sheet steel, while the chip pan 14 is formed as an injection molded part from a flexible or flexible plastic.
  • the rear part 24 of the chips pan can be bent or folded down in relation to the front part 26 about a bending axis 22 in the pan base 18 which runs parallel to the front edge 20 of the letter punch.
  • the side walls of the chip pan 14 are interrupted in the region of the bending axis 22 to form two separate side wall parts 16 ′, 16 ′′.
  • the side wall parts 16 ′, 16 ′′ can overlap one another in the region of the bending axis 22.
  • Two front transverse walls 28, 30, which are parallel to the front edge 20 and are arranged at a distance from one another, are arranged in the front chip pan part 26 and are integrally formed on both the side wall parts 16 'and on the pan bottom 18.
  • reinforcing ribs 32 projecting vertically are arranged, which are also formed on the bottom 18 and extend as far as the bending axis 22.
  • Further reinforcing ribs 34 are arranged between the outer surface of the transverse wall 30 and the end wall 17 of the chip pan 14.
  • the transverse walls 28 and 30 are connected to one another at their free edges opposite the tub floor 18 by a plurality of webs 36 arranged at a distance from one another.
  • the transverse walls 28, 30, the reinforcing ribs 32, 34, and the webs 36 bring about a mechanical stiffening of the front chip pan part 26.
  • Anchoring recesses 38 are arranged in the transverse wall 28 in the immediate vicinity of the side walls 16 ', into each of which there are one on the side edges 12 of the lower part of the punch
  • Anchoring cams 40 arranged at a distance from the front edge 20 and facing the front edge 20 can be inserted to form a positive connection.
  • the anchoring cam 40 is located on the rear edge of a recess 46 of the perforated lower part which is open towards the bottom and which overlaps the rectangular channel 48 delimited by the transverse walls 28, 30 in the chip pan 14.
  • the positive connection is additionally reinforced by a snap connection between a front locking edge 42 of the lower part of the punch and a locking groove 44 on the inside of the front boundary wall 17 of the chip pan 14.
  • a stop rail 50 for different paper formats is slidably arranged in the rectangular channel 48, which is open on one side.
  • the cross-sectional dimensions of the stop rail 50, which are adapted to the rectangular channel 48, have latching cams 54 which engage or strike in corresponding latching recesses 56 or against latching edges 58 in the transverse walls 28, 30 or on the webs 36.
  • a button-shaped actuating member 62 On the rear part 24 in the vicinity of the rear boundary wall of the chip pan 14 there is a button-shaped actuating member 62, which can be detachably latched in the area of a recess of the hole punch lower part which is open towards the rear.
  • the paper chips produced during punching accumulate exclusively in the rear part 24 of the chip pan, since the rear transverse wall 28 lies tightly against the relevant boundary surface of the lower punch part 10 over its entire length.
  • the fill level of the shredded paper can also be checked from the outside in the case of matt or opaque coloring of the shredded tub on viewing windows 66.
  • the viewing windows can be formed by thinning the material in the pan bottom 18. They advantageously have the shape of oblong rectangles aligned transversely and longitudinally on the trough bottom 18, so that the fill level can be read regardless of the orientation of the punch. This is also possible if the viewing window extends diagonally over the trough bottom 18 or if it is formed over a large area, for example as a triangle or as a rectangle.
  • the shredder trough is released from the punch lower part 10 by pressing the button 62 and folded down about the bending axis 22. Due to the form-fitting connection in the area of the anchoring pin 40 and the front rib 42, the chip tray in its front part 26 remains firmly connected to the lower punch part even when the rear chip tray part 24 is folded down, so that there is no need to fear inadvertent removal of the entire chip tray from the lower punch part.
