Definitions
- the invention relates to a spinning machine with a device for servicing spinning and winding positions, which can be moved along the spinning machine and which contains control and drive elements in a housing which is closed with covers and provided with a baffle surface with a first element extending in the direction of travel is which is pushed against the direction of travel when it encounters an obstacle and thereby causes the maintenance device to stop.
- baffles are used as collision protection.
- the collision protection has the task of interrupting the journey immediately if there is contact with an obstacle in the path of the device.
- the collision protection is attached in the lower area of the housing to detect obstacles on the ground.
- a small baffle is advantageous for inspection work inside the case as it is accessible to the control and drive elements much easier.
- baffles make access more difficult during inspection work. If the collision protection device is removed during the inspection work, there is no safety device, which increases the risk of injury to the personnel.
- the object of the present invention is therefore to ensure an effective collision protection during the maintenance operation of the spinning and winding unit and during the inspection operation of the device, the good accessibility to control and drive elements being ensured in the housing of the device for inspection work.
- At least one second element extends, which is pivotably articulated on a side cover and can be pivoted away together with the side cover of the housing and is in releasably operative connection with the impact surface of the first element.
- This configuration ensures that with the removal of the side cover, which is the cover of the side of the housing pointing in the direction of travel, at the same time an element of the anti-collision device is removed from the housing and thus the accessibility to the control and drive elements is considerably facilitated.
- this element which is removed from the housing, serves as an actuating means for the second element, which acts directly on the control elements and thus represents the actual collision protection.
- the second element continues to function without the first element, but the area on which it can be triggered is limited compared to the arrangement in which the two elements interact.
- the side cover of the housing is rotatably mounted on the side facing away from the spinning machine in rotary joints.
- the side cover of the housing is easy to open.
- the cover hangs in the swivel joints during short inspection work. Due to the storage on the side facing away from the spinning machine, the cover can be opened wide and allows easy access to the control and drive elements.
- the covers are arranged so that they cover the swivel joints. It is achieved in that the axes of rotation are protected from fiber fly and dust. In addition, it is ensured that there are no parts protruding from the housing where people could get caught and injure themselves.
- the covers can be removed so that the control and drive elements can be easily reached during longer inspection work.
- the covers can be held in the closed position with a quick-release fastener located on each cover and acting at three points on the cover.
- the quick-release fastener enables the respective cover to be opened and closed with one hand.
- the quick release acting at three points ensures that the respective cover lies tightly against the device frame and is not partially opened by loads attached to it, such as the first element of the collision protection.
- Another embodiment of the invention provides that the first element of the collision protection in the upper area of the housing is arranged and extends down over the height of the housing. This means that the collision safety device acts at any point where the housing can come into contact with an obstacle in the path of the device, as long as the first element can act on the second element. However, the second element of the collision protection can be actuated independently of the first element, so that the collision protection can also be effective without the first element.
- the second element of the collision protection is arranged in an extension of the lower level of the housing.
- the good accessibility to the control and drive elements simplifies the inspection work when the covers are open or unhooked, although the collision protection is still present.
- the collision protection is at the lowest point of the device. This ensures that both low and high obstacles that stand in the way of the device can be detected by the collision protection and trigger them. This is possible because the obstacles are often on the ground and therefore touch the device on the lower edge regardless of their height.
- the first element of the collision protection device is magnetically connected to the second element. This has the advantage that the elements can be easily separated from one another and put together again. In addition, the elements are sufficiently firmly connected to one another that they are not separated from one another by inertia when the device is accelerated.
- the housing consists of housing parts that are hingedly connected to each other. This reduces the depth of the housing and in turn makes inspection work easier.
- the electronic control elements are preferably arranged in one of the rotatably mounted housing parts, as a result of which a clear structure of the control and drive elements in the housing is made possible. Nested housing parts can also be implemented, which have their axis of rotation arranged on the side of the spinning machine or on the side facing away from the spinning machine.
- a collision safety device 1 is shown in a partial front view.
- Two elements 11 and 12 can be seen which act on one another.
- the first element 11 is articulated to a side cover 2 via a pivot bearing 13.
- the element 11 is composed of a carrier plate 111, a linkage 112 and a reinforcement 113.
- the pivot bearing 13 and the linkage 112 are fastened to the carrier plate 111.
- the reinforcement 113 is in contact with a magnet 123 of the second element 12.
- This element 12 also consists of a push rod 121 acting on control elements, and of an impact surface 122 for transmitting the impact of the obstacle to the push rod 121.
- the entire element 11 can be pivoted via the pivot bearing 13 in such a way that it acts on the second element 12 of the collision protection 1 at the end with the largest lever arm.
- the rotational movement of the element 11 about the rotary bearing 13 is converted into a translational movement of the element 12.
- the element 12 acts on the control elements located in a housing 4 and interrupts the travel of the maintenance device 5 when the element 12 has traveled a predetermined distance in the housing 4.
- the element 11 is connected to the element 12 via a magnet 123.
- this magnet 123 allows the conversion of the rotary into the translatory movement, since the elements 11 and 12 can slide against one another, and on the other hand, the element 11 becomes attached to it when the maintenance device 5 is strongly accelerated prevented from swinging due to inertia and making uncontrolled movements.
- the side cover 2 is mounted in the housing 4 in swivel joints 21. At least two joint pans 211 are attached to the side cover 2.
- the hinge pins 212 are fastened to the housing 4 and set back so far that the axes of rotation lie within the outer contour of the maintenance device 5.
- the front cover 3 is mounted as well as the side cover 2. Both covers, side cover 2 and front cover 3, can be lifted out of the swivel joints 21 and removed from the housing 4 by moving upwards.
- the double arrow B indicates the direction in which the element 12 can move. If the movement in the direction of the housing 4 is caused by external influences, a signal is triggered with which the travel of the maintenance device 5 is interrupted. The element 12 then automatically moves back to its original position and is ready to be triggered again.
- FIG. 2 shows a top view of the maintenance device 5. For reasons of clarity, the left collision protection 1 has not been drawn completely.
- the side cover 2, the front cover 3 and a rotatable housing part 41 of the housing 4 are shown in the open and closed state.
- Each of the rotatably mounted device parts 2, 3 and 41 can be pivoted through approximately 90 ° in order to ensure good accessibility to the control and drive elements located behind them.
- the folded-away device parts 2, 3 and 41 allow good access into the housing 4 or into the rotatable housing part 41.
- the collision protection 1, which extends with the element 12 into the housing 4 remains fully functional.
- the element 11 becomes inoperative.
- the effect of element 12, on the other hand, remains fully intact, so that safety against opening is guaranteed.
- the housing part 41 serves as a switch box in which the electronic control elements are arranged.
- the functionality of this switch box is retained even when it is folded down.
- the rotation of the housing part 41 takes place in a similar manner to that of the side cover 2 and the front cover 3.
- the swivel joint 21 is located behind the outer contour of the maintenance device 5, so that there are no protruding edges and the swivel joint 21 is protected against contamination.
- the rotatable housing part 41 makes it easier to carry out inspection work on the maintenance device 5, since both the electronic control elements in the housing part 41 and the control and drive elements in the housing 4 are easily accessible.
- the front cover 3 consists of one part. It protects the control and drive elements located in the housing 4 against unauthorized access and against contamination. In addition, it covers the joints 21 of a side cover 2 and the housing part 41.
- a window 36 located in the front cover 3 is shown in FIG. It allows a view of the control and drive elements in the housing 4. This makes troubleshooting easier, since the processes in the housing 4 can be observed.
- the locking of the front cover 3 takes place in the same way as with the side covers 2 and the rotatable housing part 41 via a quick-release fastener 31, but is only shown for the front cover 3.
- the quick-release fastener 31 locks the device parts 2, 3 and 41 both directly at the locking point 32 and via a locking linkage 35 at the upper and lower locking points 33 and 34.
- the quick-release fastener can be actuated in a known manner with a key or also via a strap.
- the locking points 33 and 34 ensure a tight closure of the side cover 2 and the front cover 3 on the housing 4, whereby the control and drive elements are protected from contamination.
- the pivot bearing 13 of the collision device 1 is arranged above the housing 4, so that the rotational movement of the side cover 2 is made possible over a large area without the element 11 abutting the housing 4 or the housing part 41.
- Display and input elements 411 are attached to the housing part 41 and are in direct connection with the electronic control elements. These display and input elements 411 are functional even when the housing part 41 is folded down, which in turn makes the inspection work easier because the Display and input elements 411 can be pivoted into the field of vision of the maintenance personnel.
- the entire maintenance device 5 is moved on a travel rail 6. However, only the housing 4 is guided on the running rail 6. This makes it possible to pivot the housing part 41 at any position of the maintenance device 5.
- the second element 12 of the collision protection 1 together with the housing part 41, pivots to the side.
- the element 12 it is also possible for the element 12 to be mounted directly in the housing 4 and thus to be held in its position even when the housing part 41 is pivoted.
- the first element 11 of the collision protection device 1 extends over the entire height of the housing 4. As a result, every obstacle in the travel path of the maintenance device 5 is detected and reported to the control elements. In the lower region of the element 11, in which a collision is most likely and most frequently occurring, there is a reinforcement 113 on the element 11. In addition to the reinforcement of the element 11, it serves to prevent small obstacles from passing through the linkage 112 and lead to a collision with the maintenance device 5.
