L'ensemble représenté aux figures 1 et 2 comporte :
- Un châssis fixe de base (1) réalisé à partir de profilés horizontaux et verticaux et destiné à soutenir et à guider les coulissants (2) et (3). Ils peuvent être réalisés en aluminium, en bois ou en tout autre matériau. De même les panneaux (4) et (5) peuvent être réalisés en verre ou en tout autre matériau.
- Un châssis fixe supérieur (6) réalisé dans le prolongement du châssis de base et délimité dans sa partie supérieure par un profilé (7) paral­lèle au profilé (8) délimitant en hauteur le châssis de base.
- Un mécanisme d'entraînement comprenant deux pignons (9), une chaîne d'en­traînement (10), un moto-réducteur (11) et une électronique (12) de com­mande et de contrôle de l'ensemble.
La liaison "mécanisme d'entraînement-panneau coulissant" est assurée par un moyen de liaison et d'entraînement (13), animé d'un mouvement horizon­tal de va et vient, fixé par l'une de ses extrémités à la chaîne (10) et par l'autre au panneau coulissant (2).
Pour permettre le passage du moyen (13) et son mouvement de va et vient, une lumière(14) à été pratiquée dans la partie supérieure horizontale (8) du châssis de base.
Pour des raisons de commodité et pour affaiblir le moins possible la struc­ture du châssis, il est souhaitable de centrer ladite lumière longitudina­lement. Dans ce cas, le point de fixation du moyen (13) sur le panneau (2) se fait en son milieu. Ledit moyen (13) étant, dans la réalisation préfé­rentielle de l'invention, située transversalement entre les deux panneaux coulissants et fixé sur le panneau (2) arrière.
La lumière (14) a une longueur (L) sensiblement égale à celle du déplace­ment total du panneau concerné.
Les différents sous-ensembles du mécanisme d'entraînement sont fixés sur un châssis non représenté pour des raisons de commodité. C'est ce châssis qui est ensuite fixé sur le châssis fixe supérieur de l'ensemble.
Dans la version rapportée (Figure 3), le coffrage (15) contenant le méca­nisme d'entraînement est directement fixé au mur (16) et le moyen (13) fixé à l'extérieur du panneau .
Le fonctionnement de l'ensemble est le suivant : sur simple impulsion, le panneau s'ouvre ou se ferme par bouton poussoir ou télécommande. Le moto-­réducteur peut être alimenté en 220 volts alternatif ou 12 volts continu. Un système électronique anti-écrasement donne au dispositif une excellente sécurité.

The assembly shown in Figures 1 and 2 includes:
- A fixed base frame (1) made from horizontal and vertical profiles and intended to support and guide the sliding elements (2) and (3). They can be made of aluminum, wood or any other material. Similarly, the panels (4) and (5) can be made of glass or any other material.
- An upper fixed frame (6) produced as an extension of the base frame and delimited in its upper part by a profile (7) parallel to the profile (8) delimiting the base frame in height.
- A drive mechanism comprising two sprockets (9), a drive chain (10), a geared motor (11) and an electronics (12) for command and control of the assembly.
The connection "drive mechanism-sliding panel" is provided by a connection and drive means (13), driven in a horizontal movement back and forth, fixed by one of its ends to the chain (10 ) and the other to the sliding panel (2).
To allow the passage of the means (13) and its back and forth movement, a light (14) has been formed in the horizontal upper part (8) of the base frame.
For reasons of convenience and to minimize the chassis structure, it is desirable to center said light longitudinally. In this case, the point of attachment of the means (13) on the panel (2) is in the middle. Said means (13) being, in the preferred embodiment of the invention, located transversely between the two sliding panels and fixed to the rear panel (2).
The light (14) has a length (L) substantially equal to that of the total displacement of the panel concerned.
The various sub-assemblies of the drive mechanism are fixed to a chassis, not shown, for reasons of convenience. It is this chassis which is then fixed to the upper fixed chassis of the assembly.
In the attached version (Figure 3), the formwork (15) containing the drive mechanism is directly fixed to the wall (16) and the means (13) attached to the outside of the panel.
The operation of the assembly is as follows: on a single pulse, the panel opens or closes with a push button or remote control. The gear motor can be supplied with 220 volts AC or 12 volts DC. An electronic anti-crushing system gives the device excellent security.
