- the pedals are each connected to a bellows and these bellows are coupled to one another by a connecting line. While the force required for actuation can be adjusted in one case by means of a friction brake, an adjustable valve in the connecting line serves this purpose.
- the invention aims to provide a movement device of this type with active actuation which is more pleasant for the user to operate and is therapeutically more effective than the devices described above. With these devices, a movement must be initiated from a standstill each time you change foot from one foot to the other, which requires more effort than the subsequent movement. In addition, the devices that have become known require a user conscious pedaling. However, this is a decisive disadvantage if you want to use the therapy at the same time while performing other activities, such as sitting at a table. The invention aims to create a device that reduces this dead center effect, which makes unconscious pedaling possible without switching off the active actuation.
- the flywheel ensures that at least the respective dead centers are easily overcome.

- a bearing block 43 On one side of the frame 1, a bearing block 43 is attached, on which a brake lever 45 is articulated at 44. Since the braking force needs to be very low due to the large gear ratio in order to achieve a significant effect, the brake lever is balanced by a weight 46. The braking force is adjusted by moving the weight 47 along the lever 45. The lever is provided with a brake lining 48 on the underside.
- the mechanism is attached to a base plate 5 and covered by a hood 51. Through a slot 58 (see FIG. 4), only the handle of the displaceable loading weight 47 protrudes from the hood 51.
- FIG. 1 shows the left pedal 50 in a view from the inside.
- the sliding block (26) is preferably made of Teflon (WZ) so that no lubrication is required. Instead of the sliding blocks, too Ball bearings are used.
- the pedal 50 has a foot plate 54 which is pivotally connected to the base plate 5 by means of the hinge 55. Aprons 56, 57 are attached to the front and rear of the footplate, which provide cover to the outside. An apron that is not visible in the drawing is also attached to the outward-facing side of the pedal.
- a reflex zone massage mat which is shaped like the sole of the foot and has pins of different heights can be attached to the footplate.
- Such a mat 60 is shown in FIG. 4, the pins of which are indicated by a dotted surface.
- FIG. 4 shows a flat reflex zone massage plate 61 which covers almost the entire foot plate 54 of the pedal.
- Each desired reflex zone of the foot of a user can be individually stimulated by means of mushroom-shaped massage elements 62 that can be attached to different places on the footplate, as shown in FIG. So that these massage elements 62 can be conveniently attached, the mat itself is detachably fastened on the foot plate 54 by means of pins 63.
- crank pin 23 is not diametrically opposite one another achieves that the movement device can always be set in motion from a standstill.
- Toothed belts and correspondingly toothed wheels are preferably used in the transmission gear. However, other transmission elements can also be used.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to movement devices for stimulating the circulation and for the therapy of vascular diseases of the legs.
Blood circulation in the legs is often inadequate, especially for people who have a sedentary job or who stand for a long time while doing their job. It has been shown that in such cases, therapeutic movement of the ankles can stimulate blood circulation. Devices have therefore been created with the aid of which a rhythmic tilting movement of the foot can be carried out with respect to the lower leg. It is advantageous if the device forces a tilting movement in push-pull.
No. 4,159,111 describes such a device with two pedals, which are connected to one another by a two-armed rocker arm, the pivot axis of which is perpendicular runs to the swivel axis of the pedals. The effort required for actuation can be adjusted using a friction brake on the swivel axis of the swivel lever.
In the device according to GB-PS 2,031,742, the pedals are each connected to a bellows and these bellows are coupled to one another by a connecting line. While the force required for actuation can be adjusted in one case by means of a friction brake, an adjustable valve in the connecting line serves this purpose.
Finally, in the device according to US Pat. No. 3,917,261, a motor drives the pedals in push-pull. The patient is more passive here, however, because the motor swings his feet up and down around the ankles.
The invention aims to provide a movement device of this type with active actuation which is more pleasant for the user to operate and is therapeutically more effective than the devices described above.
For this purpose, a mechanism is installed between the pedals, which forces a coupled inevitable tilting movement of both pedals. According to the invention, this mechanism is distinguished by the specific features of the characterizing part of
The flywheel ensures that at least the respective dead centers are easily overcome.
In addition, the flywheel also allows a comfortable, smooth-running and precisely adjustable brake to be attached, which means that the effort required to move the ankle can be precisely controlled.
In addition, the pedals can also be equipped with foot reflex zone massage plates.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in simplified form.

The rotatable parts are mounted in a
On one side of the
A reflex zone massage mat which is shaped like the sole of the foot and has pins of different heights can be attached to the footplate. Such a
The fact that the
Toothed belts and correspondingly toothed wheels are preferably used in the transmission gear. However, other transmission elements can also be used.
