Date Oct. 20, 1988.In bearing structures which can be converted from a rest shape to an operational shape of larger volume and have at least one flat bearing part (1) and at least one support part (2) movable with and/or detachable therefrom, the problem consists in achieving good shape retention and in particular high resistance to bending without affecting the geometrical adaptability. The solution is achieved through three features: (a) the flat bearing part (1) is essentially resistant to bending in the first normal plane (NE1) and comparatively flexible in at least a second normal plane (NE2) at an angle to the first normal plane; (b) the bearing part (1) has an at least sectionally-curved functional shape; (c) when the bearing structure is in its operational shape the support part (2) is connected in a push-resistant manner with at least one region of the bearing part (1) which extends at an angle to the first normal plane (NE1).

Ein solches Sitzmöbel ist bekannt aus der DE-A-3 308 336. Bei dem bekannten Sitzmöbel sind die Tragelemente mit recht aufwendig ausgeführten und daher auch teuren sogenannten selbsthemmenden Taumelbeschlägen miteinander verbunden. Zur Veränderung der Form des Sitzmöbels müssen die Taumelbeschläge in aufwendiger Weise einzeln gelöst und wieder fixiert werden.Such seating is known from DE-A-3 308 336. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist die Schaffung eines Sitzmöbels der genannten Art, das sich unbeschadet seiner Umstellbarkeit zwischen einer Ruheform mit geringem Raumbedarf und einer Funktionsform grösseren Volumens durch hohe Formsteifheit und vor allem Biegesteifheit bzw. Biegefestigkeit auszeichnet. Auch soll das Umstellen schnell und einfach ausführbar sein. Fig. 1 zeigt unter a) - f) einen Tragkörper, welcher in seiner Funktionsform gemäss Fig. 1e) und f) ein Sitzmöbel darstellt. Der Tragkörper weist ein Tragteil 110 und ein Stützteil 120 auf. Sowohl das Tragteil 110 als auch das Stützteil 120 bestehen aus stabförmigen, biegesteifen, nebeneinanderliegenden Tragelementen 1a, 11 die an ihren einander benachbarten Längsseiten durch Gelenke 1b, 12, miteinander verbunden sind und zwar entsprechend Fig. 2 oder Fig. 3. In Fig. 3 sind die Tragelemente 11 als Hohlprofilstäbe mit trapezförmigem Querschnitt und die Gelenke 12 als Biegelemente ausgebildet. Das Stützteil ist mit einem Randabschnitt 111 des Tragteils schwenkbar verbunden, wobei zwischen den einzelnen aneinandergrenzenden Tragelementen des Tragteils und der Stutzteile jeweils einzelne Gelenke bzw. Scharniere 130 vorgesehen sind. Dadurch ist der Tragkörper als Ganzes aufrollbar. An den genannten Randabschnitt 111 des Tragteils 110 schliesst sich ein weiterer Abschnitt 112 grösserer Höhe an.Fig. 1 shows under a) - f) a support body, which in its functional form according to Fig. 1e) and f) represents seating. Unter a) zeigt Fig. 1 den Tragkörper zusammengerollt in seiner kompaktesten Ruheform, in der er leicht transportabel ist. Zur Überführung in die Funktionsform wird der Tragkörper teilweise aufgerollt. Das Stützteil 120 dient in der Funktionsform als Sitzfläche. Wie unter d) in Fig. 1 dargestellt wird das Stützteil 120 bei senkrecht stehendem Tragteil 110 in eine horizontale Lage geklappt. Anschliessend wird der weitere Abschnitt 112 des Tragteils 110 um das Stützteil 120 bündig herumgeführt und in dieser Stellung durch einen geeigneten Verschluss 140 (zwischen dem wieteren Abschnitt 112 und dem Randabschnitt 111) gesichert. Durch die Höhe des weiteren Abschnitts 112 des Tragteils 110 wird die Lehnenhöhe des Sitzmöbels bestimmt. Um das Stützteil 120 in seiner horizontalen Lage in der Funktionsform zu halten bzw. zu fixieren ist auf der Höhe des Stützteils im weiteren Abschnitt 112 des Tragteils 110 ein geeigneter Absatz oder eine zur Aufnahme des Umfangs des Stützteils 120 geeigneter Absatz oder eine zur Aufnahme des Umfangs des Stützteils 120 geeignete Nut oder Rinne vorgesehen, welche in Fig. 1b) und d) zu erkennen und mit 150 bezeichnet ist.Under a) Fig. 1 shows the support body rolled up in its most compact resting form, in which it is easily portable. Claims (9)

  1. Seat, which can be converted between its operational shape and its compact transportation or rest shape with a smaller volume, with a support body which can be rolled up as a whole, having a flat bearing part (110) serving in the operational shape as a foot or optionally armrest part and a flat support part (120) serving as a seating surface in the operational shape, in which both the support part and the bearing part are formed from rod-like, juxtaposed bearing elements (1a or 11), which are substantially flexurally rigid in their longitudinal direction and which are interconnected by joints (1b or 12) at their adjacent longitudinal sides, in which the support part is pivotably connected to a marginal portion (111) of the bearing part, characterized in that the bearing elements of the marginal portion of the bearing part and the bearing elements of the support part are in each case pairwise frontally adjacent, that between the adjacent bearing elements of the marginal portion of the bearing part and the support part there are in each case individual joints or hinges (130), that a further portion (112) is connected to said marginal portion of the bearing part, that in said further portion the bearing elements are longer than the bearing elements in said-marginal portion, that after converting the marginal portion of the bearing part and the support part connected thereto into a planar shape, the support part can be swung down at right angles relative to said marginal portion and that the further portion of the bearing part, with the support part folded down, can be placed flush around the latter.
  2. Seat according to claim 1, characterized in that a lock (140) for securing the further portion of the bearing part in its position placed flush round the support part is provided.
  3. Seat according to claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the length of the bearing elements in the further portion of the bearing part is so dimensioned that in the operational shape a backrest is obtained.
  4. Seat according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that on its further portion the bearing part has a step (150) on which rests a marginal zone on the circumference of the support part in the operational shape.
  5. Seat according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that on its further portion the bearing part has a groove or channel, which receives a marginal zone on the circumference of the support part in the operational shape.
  6. Seat according to one of the claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the bearing elements are hollow profile bars.
  7. Seat according to one of the claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the joints by which the bearing elements (11) are interconnected to their adjacent longitudinal sides are constructed as bending joints (12).
  8. Seat according to claim 7, characterized in that the bearing elements (11) have a trapezoidal profile.
  9. Seat according to claim 7 or 8, characterized in that the bearing body is constructed in one piece.
