If, on the other hand, the first outlets lie opposite those parts of the circumference of the rotary slide valve 10 which are not taken up by the recesses 11, the latter are blocked and the pumped fluid is conveyed through the second outlets 9 into the interior of an actuating cylinder 13 in which the shaft designed as a piston of a valve 14 is moved so that the valve 14 opens.
- the rotary slide is longitudinally displaceable and its dimensions have an axially different profile, so that changing parts of the circumference are taken up by the same.
- the time period can be varied during which the first outlets 8 remain open and no pumping action is exerted on the actuating cylinder 13; the duration of the time during which the valve 14 remains closed can be varied accordingly.
