La rotation de l'écrou 21 se traduit par conséquent par une translation de la tige 19 et du cou­lisseau 17 qu'elle porte. La courroie crantée 23 permet d'effectuer aisément ce réglage fin en marche du fait qu'elle peut se déformer pour suivre le mouvement d'oscil­lation des bras 8. Ces moyens de réglage fin en marche permettent en outre de réaliser éventuellement un asservis­sement du dispositif à une grandeur quelconque, telle que la tension de la nappe.
