Definitions
- the invention relates to a stretching device according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the thread is wrapped around a non-rotating, preferably heated, cylindrical pin with 360 ° (stretching pin) between two supply mechanisms.
- the stretching forces are applied by this stretching pin.
- the stretching pin is cantilevered so that the thread can easily be wound around the stretching pin from the free end.
- the stretching pin is inclined to the straight thread running, i.e. to the line on which the thread would run between the two delivery plants if it did not wrap the drawing pin.
- the surface line on which the thread runs onto the stretching pin and also runs off the stretching pin again is inclined, namely the surface line forming the end of the stretching pin - this is the free end of the Drawing pin - indicates an angle greater than 90 ° on the side on which the thread runs or an angle smaller than 90 ° with the straight thread path on the side on which the thread runs.
- This inclination has the effect that the tapering thread center is axially offset with respect to the tapping thread center and that the tapering and tapping thread center do not obstruct or interlock with one another.
- the thread which is under high tensile force, causes the stationary straightening pin to wear.
- the stretching pin is usually a laying device assigned, which carries out an oscillating, axially parallel movement along the line of contact of the stretching pin and thereby the thread on the surface back and forth in the axial direction.
- the laying device reduces wear and causes such uniform wear that the functionality of the stretching pin is not impaired.
- the object of the invention is to replace the laying device by a device which is simpler in its mechanical construction and which can be used in particular in multi-digit machines for a large number of stretching pins.
- the solution makes use of the knowledge that changing the angle of inclination (definition: see above) changes the axial offset between the running and the running thread center. According to the invention, the change in this axial offset is used to replace the wear-reducing thread laying.
- the inclination is changed so that there is a sufficiently large change in the axial offset.
- a limit value for the inclination is determined by an inclination angle (definition: see above) of 90 °. At this angle of inclination, the incoming and outgoing thread runs essentially on the same normal plane of the stretching pin. Therefore, the limit should always be slightly greater than 90 ° so that there is at least a slight axial offset between the two thread centers.
- the other limit value of the inclination cannot be exactly defined. It is determined in particular by the length of the stretching pin and by the size of the desired axial offset. A change in the angle of inclination by 5 ° proves with a straightening pin a diameter of 80 mm is sufficient to achieve a uniform stress on the surface of the stretching pin used in operation and a reasonable reduction in wear.
- a particular advantage is that the thread laying can be carried out jointly with a plurality of stretching pins by the invention, in that the stretching pins are arranged on a common carrier and the carrier is provided with a swivel drive for the oscillating change in the angle of inclination of the stretching pins.
- the thread is laid without contact, in contrast to the usual laying with a thread guide in front of the drawing pin.
- This swivel drive can advantageously be derived from the oscillating drive of other laying devices, e.g. are required for belt delivery plants.
- the invention also allows the stretching pins to be heated together, in that the carrier is designed as a heated container for a condensing liquid and the hollow stretching pins are fastened to the container and are connected to the vapor space of the container.
- the container extends over a large number of thread processing points. A laying drive movable axially parallel to each stretching pin would require a great deal of mechanical effort.
- the thread is drawn between the two delivery units 3 and 4.
- the thread 1 is conveyed with the conveying direction 2 through the input delivery unit 3 into the drawing zone.
- the input delivery mechanism 3 is a rotatably driven roller which the thread partially wraps around and against which the thread is pressed by a pressure belt 5.
- the pressure belt 5 is tensioned by the freely rotatable guide rollers 6.
- the output delivery unit 4 consists of a roller which is driven at a higher peripheral speed than the roller 3. This roller is also partially wrapped in the thread.
- the thread is pressed against the roller 4 by a pressure belt 5, which is stretched between guide rollers 6.
- the thread is looped around the stretching pin 7 at 360 °.
- the stretching pin 7 is a cylindrical pin, for example 80 mm in diameter.
- the drawing pin serves the purpose of applying the necessary tensile forces in the thread 7 in order to cause the thread to be drawn.
- the point or the thread area is determined by the stretching pin 7, which is to be permanently deformed by the stretching.
- the stretching pin 7 is heated.
- electrical resistance heaters are used, which are arranged inside the stretching pin.
- a condensation steam heater is preferably used to heat the stretching pin, which will be described further below.
- the stretching pin 7 is fastened to a support 12 in a cantilever manner.
- the carrier 12 is pivotable about a pivot axis 13.
- the pivot axis 13 intersects the axis 11 of the stretching pin at an angle of 90 °.
- the pivot axis 13 is as close as possible to the stretching pin.
- the carrier is connected to a swivel drive 14.
- the swivel drive consists of a rotationally driven eccentric disc 15 which rotates in the crank arm 16.
- the crank arm 16 is articulated on the carrier 12 in the pivot axis 23.
- the pivot axis 23 is parallel to the pivot axis 13 of the carrier 12.
- the pivoting of the carrier 12 and the pivot pin 7 is effected by rotating the eccentric disk.
- Figures 1A and 1B show the extreme positions of the pivoting movement.
- the axis 11 of the pivot pin or the surface line 10 of the pivot pin describes an angle of, for example, 5 ° and the pivoting movement comprises a period of, for example, 45 s.
- An extreme position which is shown in FIG. 1B, is characterized in that the surface line 10, on which the thread runs onto the drawing pin and from which the drawing pin runs off the thread again (contact line), the theoretical straight thread path between the input delivery mechanism 3 and the output delivery unit 4 cuts at an angle alpha 1, which is slightly larger than 90 °.
- the angle alpha is measured on the side on which the thread runs towards the drawing pin.
- Fig. 1A shows the other extreme position of the pivoting movement of the stretching pin 7.
- the angle alpha2 between the contact line 10 and the theoretical thread path is therefore slightly larger than 95 °.
- the total swivel angle alpha2 - alpha1 e.g. 5 °.
- the axial offset A2 between the run-up point of the thread and the run-off point of the thread from the surface line 10 is substantially larger.
- the smallest angle alpha 1 must be chosen so large that the axial offset is sufficient to avoid a mutual hindrance of the incoming thread center and the outgoing thread center.
- This smallest axial offset A 1 can e.g. 1 mm.
- the largest axial offset A2 depends on e.g. of the length of the stretch pin 7. It can e.g. 20 mm.
- the pivoting movement is carried out in a reversing manner between the smallest angle alpha 1 and the largest angle alpha 2.
- FIG. 2 shows the detail of the front view of a textile machine front.
- 1A and 1B represent the side view essentially of this section of the textile machine.
- Several threads 1 are each in one Stretch zone stretched.
- the stretch zone is formed between two supply plants.
- the input delivery mechanism is formed by a rotatingly driven delivery roller 3, which has a hardened peripheral zone suitable for the delivery of yarn for each yarn.
- Each thread 1 is pressed against the circumferential zone of the delivery roller 3 assigned to it by pressure belts 5, which are each guided on guide rollers 6.
- the output delivery mechanism 4 is formed by hardened peripheral zones on the roller 4 which are suitable for thread conveying.
- the roller 4 is driven at a higher peripheral speed than the roller 3.
- an endless pressure belt 5 is also used for each thread, which is guided freely on guide rollers.
- a carrier 12 extends over a large number of processing points.
- a cross section of the carrier 12 is shown in FIG. 3, the section lying in the axis 11 of a stretching pin.
- the carrier is an elongated container with a rectangular cross section.
- the stretching pins 7 are placed on the end of the container 12 facing the thread run and open towards the container.
- the container 12 in turn and all the drawing pins 7 connected to it are hermetically sealed.
- the container has a sump 24 which is filled with a liquid. The fill level is such that the liquid does not get inside the stretching pin 7.
- a heating resistor 25 extends over the length of the container 12 and is completely immersed in the liquid. The heating resistor 25 is supplied with energy by the control device 26.
- the temperature of the stretching pin can be queried by temperature sensor 27 and the energy supply to the heating resistor 25 can then be controlled. By heating the liquid, part of the liquid evaporates. While the container 12 is insulated from the outside (insulation is not shown), the thread 1 removes heat from the stretching pin. As a result, the steam present in the container and the drawing pin condenses and gives off its latent heat to the drawing pin.
- each stretching pin is wrapped by the thread 1 at 360 °.
- the container 12 has a pivot axis 13 (see FIGS. 1A, 1B) with which the container is pivotally mounted.
- the pivot axis 13 and its bearing is only shown on the right in FIG. 2.
- Fig. 2 left the container is cut to a partial length. A part of the resistor 25 can be seen there, which is covered by the liquid.
- Parallel to the pivot axis 13, an articulated axis 23 is attached to one end face (left in FIG. 2) of the carrier 12, to which the crank arm 16 is articulated.
- Crank arm 16 is guided at its other end on an eccentric 15, which in turn is rotatably mounted in axis 27.
- a laying device for the output delivery unit 4 is also shown.
- This laying device consists of a rod 18 which extends over a plurality of processing points parallel to the delivery roller 4 and has a thread guide for each thread.
- the rod 18 is guided in a straight line 19.
- the rod 18 is set in an oscillating reciprocating movement with the arrow direction 28.
- the laying drive 20, which in the illustrated case consists of a crank disk 21 and a crank arm 22, serves this purpose.
- the crank disk 21 of the laying drive and the eccentric shaft 27 of the swivel drive 14 for the support 12 can be driven by a common drive motor (not shown here).
- the laying device serves the purpose of continually changing the thread path on the delivery mechanism axially in order to reduce and even out the wear of the delivery mechanism.
- the laying device requires only little mechanical effort since it extends over a large number of processing points.
- the stretching pins are perpendicular to the machine front. Therefore, a complete installation device of the conventional type as just described, ie thread guide and oscillating drive, should be available to everyone individual straightening pin can be assigned. It can be seen that the laying device according to this invention requires much less effort. This is the only way that the stretching pins can be attached to a common heating device, in particular a heating device based on the condensation principle.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a stretching device according to the preamble of claim 1.
To stretch a synthetic thread, the thread is wrapped around a non-rotating, preferably heated, cylindrical pin with 360 ° (stretching pin) between two supply mechanisms. The stretching forces are applied by this stretching pin. The stretching pin is cantilevered so that the thread can easily be wound around the stretching pin from the free end. The stretching pin is inclined to the straight thread running, i.e. to the line on which the thread would run between the two delivery plants if it did not wrap the drawing pin. This means that the surface line on which the thread runs onto the stretching pin and also runs off the stretching pin again (contact line) is inclined, namely the surface line forming the end of the stretching pin - this is the free end of the Drawing pin - indicates an angle greater than 90 ° on the side on which the thread runs or an angle smaller than 90 ° with the straight thread path on the side on which the thread runs. This inclination has the effect that the tapering thread center is axially offset with respect to the tapping thread center and that the tapering and tapping thread center do not obstruct or interlock with one another.
The thread, which is under high tensile force, causes the stationary straightening pin to wear. For this reason, the stretching pin is usually a laying device assigned, which carries out an oscillating, axially parallel movement along the line of contact of the stretching pin and thereby the thread on the surface back and forth in the axial direction. The laying device reduces wear and causes such uniform wear that the functionality of the stretching pin is not impaired.
The object of the invention is to replace the laying device by a device which is simpler in its mechanical construction and which can be used in particular in multi-digit machines for a large number of stretching pins.
The solution to this problem results from the characterizing part of claim 1.
The solution makes use of the knowledge that changing the angle of inclination (definition: see above) changes the axial offset between the running and the running thread center. According to the invention, the change in this axial offset is used to replace the wear-reducing thread laying.
The inclination is changed so that there is a sufficiently large change in the axial offset. A limit value for the inclination is determined by an inclination angle (definition: see above) of 90 °. At this angle of inclination, the incoming and outgoing thread runs essentially on the same normal plane of the stretching pin. Therefore, the limit should always be slightly greater than 90 ° so that there is at least a slight axial offset between the two thread centers. The other limit value of the inclination cannot be exactly defined.
A particular advantage is that the thread laying can be carried out jointly with a plurality of stretching pins by the invention, in that the stretching pins are arranged on a common carrier and the carrier is provided with a swivel drive for the oscillating change in the angle of inclination of the stretching pins. The thread is laid without contact, in contrast to the usual laying with a thread guide in front of the drawing pin.
This swivel drive can advantageously be derived from the oscillating drive of other laying devices, e.g. are required for belt delivery plants.
In this embodiment, the invention also allows the stretching pins to be heated together, in that the carrier is designed as a heated container for a condensing liquid and the hollow stretching pins are fastened to the container and are connected to the vapor space of the container. The container extends over a large number of thread processing points. A laying drive movable axially parallel to each stretching pin would require a great deal of mechanical effort. There is indeed a zone in the area of the thread wrap, in which there is theoretically no axial displacement of the thread even by changing the inclination of the stretching pin. It was to be expected that this neutral zone would lie at 180 ° thread wrap. In practice, however, it has been shown that there is no neutral zone. It is rather the case that in the area of the tapering thread center, which is under a relatively low thread tension, even with a strong inclination only a relatively small axial offset occurs and that an increased axial offset occurs instead at other points in the thread wrap. The area of the stretch pin circumference in which the tapering thread center runs is not at risk of wear, since the tapering thread center is only under a low thread tension.
The invention is described below using an exemplary embodiment.

Der Andrückriemen 5 wird durch die frei drehbaren Führungsrollen 6 aufgespannt.1, the thread is drawn between the two
The output delivery unit 4 consists of a roller which is driven at a higher peripheral speed than the
In addition, the point or the thread area is determined by the stretching
The stretching
Wie gesagt, ist der gesamte Schwenkwinkel alpha₂ - alpha₁ z.B. 5°.Fig. 1A shows the other extreme position of the pivoting movement of the stretching
It can be seen that the axial offset A₂ between the run-up point of the thread and the run-off point of the thread from the
The pivoting movement is carried out in a reversing manner between the smallest angle alpha 1 and the
1A and 1B represent the side view essentially of this section of the textile machine. Several threads 1 are each in one Stretch zone stretched. The stretch zone is formed between two supply plants. The input delivery mechanism is formed by a rotatingly driven
As can be seen in FIG. 2, each stretching pin is wrapped by the thread 1 at 360 °. The
A laying device for the output delivery unit 4 is also shown.
