Die Erfindung betrifft einen Träger für Fensterrahmen oder dergleichen, bei denen ein mit dem Träger zu verbindender Holm auf seiner dem Träger zugewandten Seite mindestens einen in Richtung der Längser­streckung des Holmes verlaufenden Schlitz aufweist. Solche Holme an Fensterrahmen sind bekannt und üblich. Sie sind in der Regel als Hohlprofile aus Kunststoff gefertigt und weisen einen inneren Metallkern -in der Regel ebenfalls als Hohlprofil ausgebildet- auf. Sollen nun mehrere solcher Fensterrahmen an den Holmen miteinander verbunden werden, so muß diese Verbindung einerseits die auftretenden Kräfte aufnehmen und es muß andererseits die Verbindung zwischen Fenster­holm und Träger wasserdicht und möglichst schlecht wärmeleitend sein. Im Stand der Technik werden die Holme der Fensterrahmen über Ankerschrauben gegen ein zwischen den benachbarten Holmen zweier Fensterrahmen angeordnetes Hohlprofil oder Vollprofil gezogen und damit an der glatten Oberfläche dieser Träger angepreßt. Ein Träger der erfindungsgemäßen Art kann sehr einfach als ununter­brochenes Walzprofil und damit außerordentlich kostengünstig in seinem Ausgangselement hergestellt werden. Das erzeugte Walzprofil muß lediglich auf eine gewünschte Länge abgeschnitten werden, worauf dann die abgeschnittenen Teile spiegelbildlich, also sozusagen Rücken an Rücken, gegeneinander gelegt und -in Längsrichtung ausgerichtet­unlösbar, z.B. durch Punktschweißung, miteinander verbunden werden. Damit is der neuerungsgemäße Träger bereits fertig, der einfach durch eine einzuschiebende und sicher gehaltene Abdeckkappe ergänzt werden kann. Die genannten Hohlkammern nehmen hierbei einen entsprechenden Steg einer zugeordneten Abdeckkappe im Bereich des abgewinkelten Endteiles auf. Der Steg selbst wird hierbei von dem den Hohlkammern zugeordneten Längsschlitzen geführt. Die genannten Rasterstege des Trägers greifen je in einen Schlitz des Holmes des Fensterrahmens ein z und sind hierbei so angeordnet, daß sie jeweils an einer entsprechenden Seitenfläche des zugeordneten Schlitzes anliegen und damit den Holm des Fensterrahmens formschlüssig in Durchbiegerichtung des Holmes mit dem Träger verbinden. Hierbei ist diese Verbindung vorteilhafterweise eine ganz einfache Steckverbindung. Die bisher notwendigen Zuganker zur Befestigung des Fensterrahmens über den Holm mit einem zugeordneten Träger müssen nun keine Scherkräfte mehr übertragen. Diese Schraubverbindung kann daher entsprechend einfacher gestaltet werden. Darüber hinaus kann nunmehr zwischen dem Rastersteg und dem zugeordneten Schlitz des Holmes sehr einfach eine zuverlässige Dichtung angeordnet werden die, wenn überhaupt, nur noch minimalste Bewe­gungen des Fensterrahmens ertragen muß. Unabhängig hiervon kann aber zusätzlich noch zwischen den Rändern der Abdeckkappe und der Oberfläche des Holmes des Fensterrahmens selbst eine sichere Abdeckung gegen Feuchtigkeit angeordnet sein. Ein Durchdringen von Feuchtigkeit ist damit abgeschlossen. Ein Abdeckprofil 3 weist einen inneren Längssteg 4 auf, der an der inneren Längskante 5 um einen geeigneten Betrag umgewickelt ist. Zur Abdeckung mit dem Abdeckprofil wird dieser innere Längssteg 4 des Abdeckprofils 3 jeweils in den inneren Längsschlitz 6 bzw 6′ eingescho­ben solange, bis die abgewinkelte innere Längskante 5 in die jeweilige Hohlkammer 7 bzw. 8 hineinreicht. Aufgrund ihrer Abwinklung ist sie in dieser Stellung dann sicher gehalten. Das Abdeckprofil 3 selbst kann dann entlang seiner Längskanten noch einmal mit einem nicht näher bezeichneten, aber dargestellten, Dichtungsprofil versehen sein, welches über einen geeigneten Dichtungseinsatz oder geeignete Dichtungsmasse gegenüber der Oberfläche des Hohlprofils 16 abdichtet.

Claims (7)

Träger für Fensterrahmen oder dergleichen, bei denen ein mit dem Träger zu verbindender Holm auf seiner dem Träger zugewandten Seite mindestens einen in Richtung der Längserstreckung des Holmes verlaufenden Schlitz aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Träger (1) aus zwei gleichen aber spiegelbildlich zueinander angeordneten Flachprofilen (9) besteht, mit zwei in enem Abstand parallel zueinander und in Längsrichtung verlaufenden Hohlkammern (7,8), die je über einen Längsschlitz (6,6′) nach außen offen sind, wobei das Flachprofil (9) jedem Schlitz (14,15) eines Holmes (13) zugeordnet mindestens einen Rastersteg (10,11) aufweist, der in den genannten Schlitz (14,15 eingreifen kann.1.
