Definitions

  • the invention relates to a package comprising a product in the form of a molded and demouldable block in the form of precut parts and the packaging of this product; and a method of making such a package.
  • the invention is more particularly applicable in the food industry to mold and package a product into a block precut into parts, and intended to be demolded to be sold and / or used progressively in particular in the form known under the name from "to the cut".
  • the invention is however applicable to any non-food product and having a destination and / or similar properties.
  • Document FR 2530581 describes a device for packaging individual portions in which each portion is packaged separately from the others. Such a device has a high cost price, and is not perfectly suited to the sale of cut food products. If it ensures a relatively good conservation of the product, it however requires numerous manipulations to clear each portion. In addition, it is poorly suited to food products intended to be molded or that can be cooked after packaging. Finally, the product thus packaged is completely invisible from the outside to the buyer and / or the consumer, which in some cases is not considered desirable.
  • Separations are also known, such as sheets of paper intended to separate slices of salmon.
  • sheets of paper intended to separate slices of salmon.
  • it is necessary to slice the product before using the separation sheet that is to say that the sheets do not participate directly in the slicing.
  • such sheets do not allow the production of a product in the form of a block in which the partitions are embedded in the product.
  • Document US 3079028 discloses a packaging for food products comprising a belt open at its two ends intended to be closed by lids, one of which includes, fixed, partitions. Such packaging is not applicable to the product covered by the invention, because the partitions are not removable from each other.
  • packages comprising interior partitions defining compartments receiving different products, for example boxes of cakes or letters (document US 4593816).
  • these packages are not suitable for block-shaped products, the partitions having to remain submerged, the product forming a rigid block.
  • the invention provides a package comprising on the one hand a more especially food product, in particular pâté, cheese, pastry in the form of a molded and demouldable block, intended to be sold and / or used in the form of portions - in particular slices or portions, and, on the other hand, a packaging intended to condition the product and comprising a hollow external mold whose internal space forms containing for the product, a cover intended to be rigidly but removably associated with the mold to close its opening, and thin, rigid partition walls arranged in a removable manner in the internal space by separating it, by means of retaining means forming part of the packaging, these partitions being essentially internal to the product and dividing it into several parts characterized in that the partitions are separately removable from one another and can be removed individually.
  • a packaging intended to condition the product and comprising a hollow external mold whose internal space forms containing for the product, a cover intended to be rigidly but removably associated with the mold to close its opening, and thin, rigid partition walls arranged in
  • the invention also relates to a method of producing such a package with a view to conditioning the product in its packaging in a first variant of which the mold without the partitions with the product in a liquid or pasty state, then we put the partitions in place in the mold and through the product thus molded, then the lid is associated with the mold and the product is allowed to solidify.
  • the invention also relates to a variant of the production method in which the partitions are placed in order to condition the product in its packaging.
  • the product can be filled in successive layers; the packaged product can then be placed in another outer packaging; during filling and solidification, the partitions can be held positively; the mold can be used for the actual preparation of the product.
  • a packaging according to the invention is intended to condition a product which can be molded and demolded - in particular a food product taken in mass in a block precut into parts - in particular in slices or portions.
  • the packaging comprises, in combination, a hollow mold 1 whose internal space 4 forms a container, a cover 2 intended to be rigidly but removably associated with the mold 1 to close its opening, and at least one and generally a plurality of partitions 3 for thin and rigid separation and protection, arranged in the internal space 4 of the mold 1 by separating it by means of holding means 5 for, on the one hand, dividing the block of product contained in the space 4 into protect the unsold and / or unused product.
  • the partitions 3 consist in particular of plastic plates. They can advantageously be made or covered with non-stick material facilitating the demoulding of the parts of the product. For example, each face of the partitions 3 can be coated with a silicone layer.
  • the partitions 3 can also constitute supports for advertising and / or informative information. Thus, the brand of the product can be affixed on the partitions which become visible during the distribution of the product shares.
  • the partitions 3 may also include reliefs and / or recesses to decorate or print each part of the product, in particular with the brand of the product, in particular on their large faces, the product then comprising corresponding recesses and / or reliefs.
  • Means 5 for guiding and holding the partitions 3 allow the partitions 3 to be placed and maintained quickly and easily with precision in the mold 1 in order to divide the product into parts of determined size, in particular in equal parts, the partition walls 3 being then regularly pushed away from each other.

  • the partitions 3 are held in place by the means 5 during the subsequent solidification of the product, in particular in a positive external manner.
  • the means 5 are for example internal grooves provided at least along the sides 6 of the mold 1, but preferably also on the bottom 7 of the mold 1 opposite the upper opening. These grooves 5 are continuous or discontinuous and allow the partitions 3 to be put in place and removed by sliding them in their own plane. These grooves are continuous or discontinuous in the form of studs or projections. The grooves 5 preferably preferably project slightly so as not to substantially affect the block shape of the product.

  • the grooves forming the means 5 have a certain clearance with respect to the partitions 3 and the partitions 3 with a certain clearance with respect to the mold 1.
  • the mold 1 is of generally elongated shape, substantially parallelepipedic, the opening of the mold being on a large face and the partitions 3 being arranged in the transverse cross sections of the mold 1, perpendicular to the opening of the mold. , by marrying its internal shape to divide the block of the product into regular slices of equal thickness, in particular with a certain thickness.
  • Each groove 5 for guiding and holding in place a partition 3 extends substantially vertically over the height of a longitudinal flank 6 of the mold 1, then substantially horizontally and transversely over the entire width of the bottom 7, and finally substantially vertically over the entire height of the other longitudinal flank 6 ′ (assuming the mold 1 with its bottom 7 placed horizontally, the flanks 6 ′ and 6 ⁇ being placed at least substantially vertically and upwards relative to the bottom 7).
  • the partitions 3, held in place by these grooves 5, are therefore substantially vertical, parallel to each other and to the transverse 6 ⁇ sides, and, in this embodiment, equidistant.
  • the partitions 3 extend through all or almost all of the interior space 4, that is to say, until the opening of the mold 1 and the cover 2 associated with the mold 1.
  • the partition 3 only extends over part of the height of the interior space 4 from the bottom 7 while being spaced from the opening of the mold 1 and of the cover 2.
  • the height of the partitions 3 is equal to the height of the product in the internal space 4, so that the partitions 3 are possibly internal and embedded in the product with its edges coplanar with the external surface of the product.

  • the shape of the mold 1 is adapted accordingly, as well as the position and the shape of the grooves 5 inside the mold 1.
  • the mold 1 has general characteristics allowing demolding and, in particular, rounded angles, a flared shape towards the opening, smooth walls or, at the very least, devoid of relief in direction other than parallel to the direction of demolding of the mold. product.
  • the mold 1 can consist of a thin sheet of injected or thermoformed thermoplastic synthetic material.
  • each groove 5 is obtained by deformation towards the inside of this sheet.
  • each groove 5 is delimited by two long indentations 8 and 9 parallel to each other, and separated by a distance slightly greater than the thickness of a partition 3.
  • the partition 3 is thus inserted between the two recesses 8, 9.
  • These recesses 8, 9 also make it possible to reinforce the overall rigidity of the mold 1.
  • the mold 1 can have a certain deformability under the action of external constraints, in particular manual, able to facilitate the release of the product.
  • the mold 1 is advantageously made up or covered inside with non-stick material facilitating the demolding of the parts of the product.
  • non-stick material facilitating the demolding of the parts of the product.
  • thermoplastic synthetic materials generally do not adhere to food products having a gelatinous or similar nature, and therefore do not require a specific non-stick coating.
