Description

The invention relates to a brick roller shutter box with a U-shaped, downwardly open cross section, consisting of several, with each other and arranged in the longitudinal direction of the box reinforcement bars connected by mortar, provided with cavities shaped bricks, through which two mutually parallel side walls, one of them above connecting ceiling and two end face plates of the box connected to the side walls and the ceiling are formed, the brick blocks for receiving the reinforcing bars having recesses running in the longitudinal direction of the box, including U-shaped recesses provided at the lower edge of each side wall and their cavities are filled with rigid foam.

Such a known brick roller shutter box (see DE-B-25 36 086) consists of several brick blocks with an L-shaped cross section butted against one another on the end face. The shaped bricks are mirror images of a vertical longitudinal center plane of the roller shutter box, with their shorter L-legs lying on top and the free ends of which face each other. There is a wider joint between the free ends of the shorter L-legs, which is filled with mortar. The two shorter L-legs each form part of the ceiling, while the downward longer L-legs of each brick form part of the side wall. The shaped bricks are also connected to each other by mortar on their facing abutting surfaces. In the manner of elongated perforated bricks, the shaped bricks are provided with cavities that are to be filled with rigid foam. In practice, however, this foaming is not carried out because it is obviously too expensive. The bricks are relatively short and also have a large number of elongated holes. The foaming of this large number of elongated holes would mean a considerable amount of work. Because in practice the cavities are not foamed, the known roller shutter box has a low thermal insulation. This low thermal insulation is also due to the fact that a relatively wide joint is present on the abutting surfaces of the bricks running transversely to the axis of the roller shutter box, which joint is filled with mortar. The cement mortar used, like the end plate made of solid brick on the front of the roller shutter box, forms a cold bridge. So that the shaped bricks keep their shape to a certain extent during drying and subsequent firing and so that the roller shutter box has the required strength after the individual shaped bricks have been assembled, the shaped bricks have relatively large dimensions transverse to the longitudinal axis of the shutter box. For a given outside width and outside height, the clear inside dimensions of the roller shutter box in the so-called rolling room are consequently relatively small. The roll room is also reduced in that a layer of rigid foam is provided in the roll room because of the poor thermal insulation of the brick blocks. Because of the small roll space that is actually available, particularly space-saving, expensive mini profiles must be used for the roller shutters. In addition, in the manufacture of the roller shutter box, mortar must be applied to the abutting abutting surfaces of the brick blocks running transversely to the longitudinal axis of the roller shutter box. Since this application and assembly of the roller shutter box takes a relatively long time and also requires a relatively large amount of mortar, it is only possible to use slowly setting cement mortar. Because of the long setting time of the concrete, there are long production times and therefore a need for relatively large production sites.

The invention has for its object to provide a brick roller shutter box of the type mentioned, which has good thermal insulation and still has a relatively large rolling space with the same external dimensions. Furthermore the manufacture of the roller shutter box is to be simplified and thus the manufacturing costs are reduced. In addition, a method is also to be demonstrated which enables rational manufacture of the brick roller shutter box.

The roller shutter box according to the invention is characterized in that the side walls, the ceiling and possibly the end plates consist of flat brick plates which, in the manner of web plates, each consisting of a flat outer wall, a flat inner wall arranged at a distance from this and several provided in between, are formed perpendicular to these extending webs, and that at the upper edge of the side wall panels each substantially rectangular, upwards and towards the ceiling panels open recesses (folds) are provided, in which engage the ends of the ceiling panels, in which the reinforcing bars are inserted and which are filled with mortar, the cavities being formed by the outer wall, the inner wall and the webs.

The brick multi-wall sheets used for the manufacture of the roller shutter box can be manufactured with a relatively small thickness of 27 to 35 mm and nevertheless a relatively large width and length of over one meter, true to size and accurate in shape. Because of the relatively small thickness of the multi-wall sheets, the rolling space can have relatively large clear dimensions, and therefore roller shutters can be installed in the roller shutter box without the use of expensive mini profiles. With an outside width of 30 cm, for example, the roll room width is 23 cm. Since this roll room width is more than sufficient, you can even arrange a plate made of rigid foam on the inside of one side wall panel and thus the thermal insulation improve. Even without this additional hard foam panel, the new brick roller shutter box has excellent thermal insulation. The cavities formed between the outer wall and the inner wall and the webs of the brick wall panels are relatively large and can therefore be easily filled with rigid foam, which also compared to the Conventional shaped bricks of greater lengths and widths of the used multi-wall sheets favor the filling of the cavities with rigid foam. In addition, the new roller shutter box is characterized by its relatively low weight and high rigidity.

An advantageous method for producing the roller shutter box according to the invention is that the ceiling panels and the reinforcing bars are inserted from above into the rectangular recesses of the perpendicularly arranged side wall panels, then the joints between the ends of the ceiling panels and the recesses are poured with mortar, after which Setting the mortar of the roller shutter box rotated by 180 °, the reinforcing bars are inserted into the now upward-facing U-shaped recesses and then the U-shaped recesses are poured out with mortar.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are characterized in the subclaims. The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing. Show it:

Fig. 2
a vertical partial section of the roller shutter box along the line II-II of Fig. 1,

As can be seen from Fig. 1, the brick roller shutter box has a substantially U-shaped cross-section open at the bottom. The side walls, the ceiling and the end plates consist of hollow brick plates 2, 3, 4, which are designed in the manner of web plates. As can be seen from the drawing, each of these tiles consists of an outer wall 2a, 3a, 4a, one at a distance from the Outside wall arranged inside wall 2b, 3b, 4b and arranged between them, perpendicular to the two walls 2a, 3a, 4a and 2b, 3b, 4b, webs 2c, 3c, 4c. Brick multi-wall sheets of this type can be produced with corresponding mouthpieces in the extrusion process. Between the outer wall 2a, 3a, 4a, the inner wall 2b, 3b, 4b and the webs 2c, 3c, 4c there are relatively large cavities 2d, 3d, 4d of rectangular cross-section. These cavities are filled with rigid foam 5. The filling is expediently carried out in such a way that strips are cut from a rigid foam sheet of appropriate thickness and inserted into the cavities. It is also conceivable to foam the cavities with liquid rigid foam if necessary. Thanks to the rigid foam 5, the multi-wall sheets have high thermal insulation. In addition, the multi-wall sheets give the finished roller shutter box a low weight.

At the upper edge of the side wall panels 2 there is a substantially rectangular recess 6, which can also be referred to as a fold. The end plate 4 is also provided with a similar recess 7. The height h of the rectangular recesses 6, 7 corresponds approximately to the thickness d of the ceiling panels 3. The ceiling panels 3 engage with their ends 3 'in the recesses 6 of the side wall panels 2. Likewise, the edge 3˝ of the ceiling plate adjacent to the end plate 4 engages in the recess 7 of the same. Appropriately, an upwardly projecting shoulder 8 is provided on the inside of the side wall panels 2 facing the end of the recesses 6, on which the end 3 'of the ceiling panel 3 rests. A similar paragraph 9 is also provided in the recess 7 of the end plate 4. Thanks to these paragraphs 8.9, the mortar filled into the recesses 6, 7 can also reach part of the underside of the ceiling panels 3, so that the connection area between the mortar and the ceiling panel is enlarged and the stability of the roller shutter box is improved.

In the recesses 6 of the side wall panels 2 reinforcement bars 11 made of so-called rib steel are also inserted, which extend over the entire length of the roller shutter box. These reinforcing bars 11 are covered by the mortar 10. The width b of the rectangular recesses 6 is slightly larger than the length 1 of the respectively engaging in the recesses 6 end 3 'of the ceiling panels 3 plus the diameter of the reinforcing bar 11. The length 1 should correspond to approximately half the thickness d1 of the side wall panels.

The side wall panels 2 are provided at their lower edges with substantially U-shaped, downwardly open recesses 12. Reinforcing bars 13 are arranged in these recesses 12 and the holding legs of aluminum end profiles 14, 15 can also engage in these recesses. The U-shaped recesses 12 are also filled with mortar, which encases the reinforcing bars 13.

The ceiling panels 3 are advantageously arranged opposite the side wall panels 2 so that the webs 3c of the ceiling panels run perpendicular to the side wall panels 2. The webs 3c give the brick wall panels in the direction in which they run a higher strength than in a direction transverse to the webs. In this way, the roller shutter box is given optimum strength. The width B of the ceiling tiles 3 suitably corresponds to the usual brick standard dimension of 25 cm. By arranging a more or less large number of ceiling panels next to each other, roller shutter boxes can be manufactured in 25 cm increments. In order to be able to manufacture the roller shutter box in the most common masonry thicknesses, the ceiling panels 3 and the end panels 4 are cut off from multi-wall bricks. The recesses 6, 7 and 12 can be made easier by appropriate saw cuts thanks to the cavities present in the brick wall panels Way to be made.

Tile multi-skin sheets can be produced in lengths of over one meter. For this reason, it is expedient to arrange the side wall panels so that their webs 2c run in the longitudinal direction of the roller shutter box. As a result, each side wall of the roller shutter box can consist of relatively few side wall panels 2. There are therefore only relatively few joints between two adjacent side wall panels. These joints, like the joints between the edges 3˝ of two adjacent ceiling tiles, should not be filled with mortar to avoid cold spots. Tile multi-wall sheets can be produced or cut with such great accuracy that only joints of minimal width are present between adjacent ceiling panels 3 or side panels 2.

The end plates 4 expediently also have rectangular recesses 16 in their vertical edges, in which the ends 2 'of the side wall plates 2 engage. The joints remaining between the ends 2 'and the recesses 16 are also filled with mortar 10.

The mortar 10 suitably consists of a two-component synthetic resin and quartz sand. This mortar can be injected into the recesses 6, 7, 12 and 16 after assembling the roller shutter box. It sets within a relatively short time of around half an hour, which speeds up production and reduces the need for production space. In addition, the mortar, which consists of two-component synthetic resin and quartz sand, gives the roller shutter box a high level of strength and flexural strength.

If necessary, it would also be conceivable to use a so-called synthetic resin mortar instead of the described mortar, which consists of cement, one-component synthetic resin, such as e.g. B. polyvinyl acetate, water and quartz sand. The mortar with two-component synthetic resin described at the outset is, however, preferable because of the faster setting time and its higher adhesion to the relatively smooth interfaces and surfaces of the multi-wall sheets.

Furthermore, it is expedient to provide a carrying strap 17 spanning the associated ceiling panel 3 in the vicinity of the two end panels 4 of the roller shutter box 1. The ends 17 'of this lanyard are inserted into the rectangular recesses 6 of the side wall panels 2 and looped around the reinforcing bars 11. As a result, when the recesses 6 are subsequently poured out with the mortar 10, a firm connection of the ends 17 'of the carrying band 17 to the roller shutter box 1 is also achieved.

Bores 18 for screws 19 are expediently provided in the end plates 4, the screw heads 19 a of which are arranged in the cavities 4 d of the end plates 4. The part of the cavities 4d surrounding the screw heads 19a is filled with mortar 10 so that the screws 19 are held in the bores 18 and secured against rotation. The screws protruding on the inside of the end plates 4 serve, similar to stud bolts, for fastening a bracket (not shown) which serves to support the axis of the roller shutter.

The roller shutter box is conveniently manufactured as follows:
The cutouts 6, 7 and 12 are first sawn on the brick multi-wall sheets, then the multi-wall sheets are cut to the appropriate lengths by sawing. The cutouts 16 are also sawn on the end plates 4. The side wall panels 2 are then set up in a vertical position, which they also assume in the finished roller shutter, for example in a template. The end plates can also be used 4 be set up vertically. The ceiling panels 3 are then inserted into the upwardly open recesses 6 of the side wall panels 2, whereby they are supported on the shoulders 8 and 9, respectively. The reinforcement bars 11 are then also inserted into the recesses 6. Then the recesses 6, 7 and 16 are sprayed with mortar. After the resin-bound mortar has set, you can turn the roller shutter box about its longitudinal axis by 180 ° after about half an hour, so that the U-shaped recesses lying underneath in the finished roller shutter box are now directed upwards and open at the top. The mortar 10 is injected into these U-shaped recesses 12 and then the reinforcing bars 13 are pressed in. The end strips (plaster rails) 14 and 15 are then pressed with their holding legs into the still plastic mortar 10.

Since the multi-wall sheets used to manufacture the brick roller shutter box 1 have a relatively small wall thickness d of 27 mm or d1 of 35 mm, a relatively large rolling space results in the interior of the roller shutter box 1, which is suitable for receiving roller shutters with conventional slat profiles is. The rolling space is even so large that a plate 20 made of rigid foam can additionally be arranged on the inside of one side wall plate 2. As a result, the already low k-value of the roller shutter box can be reduced even further.

If necessary, the end plates could also consist of molded brick parts. In this case, the rectangular recesses 7, 16 would be formed immediately when the clay was pressed. Instead of cavities, the end plate would have ribs projecting inwards, between which rigid foam strips could be inserted to improve the thermal insulation.

Furthermore, it is also possible to arrange the ceiling panels so that their webs in the longitudinal direction of the roller shutter box run. This is particularly advantageous for roller shutter boxes of greater length.

One could also first produce a box that only consists of the side wall panels and ceiling panels and has a length of, for example, 6 m. Sections of the length of the roller shutter box ordered in each case can then be sawn off from this box. These sections are provided with end plates after sawing off. The 6 m long boxes could also be supplied to roller shutter manufacturers, who then cut off sections of the desired length and provided them with end plates. In this way, a shutter manufacturer does not have to keep different lengths of shutter boxes in stock.
