Regardless of the number of weld seams, only one welding process and one single edging is required to form the back 13.

Claims (21)

  1. Clamping folder for unperforated written matter, with two folder covers (11, 14) interconnected along a once-folded back (13) and a cross-sectionally approximately U-shaped clip (16, 39, 48, 54, 60) having two legs (20, 22, 40, 45, 49, 56) to be pretensioned on one another, said clip being displaceable at right angles to the back axis and undetachably secured to the folder, characterized in that the clip (16, 39, 48, 54, 60) is constructed for engaging on a folder edge (19, 29) directed away from the folder back (13) and running parallel thereto, the edge (19, 29) being formed by the free border of an opening in a folder cover.
  2. Clamping folder according to claim 1, characterized in that the edge (19) is formed by a cut (15) in the vicinity of the back (13), which is lengthwise to the latter and which opens through the tension of the material in the back (13).
  3. Folder according to claim 1, characterized in that the clip (16) has on the inside of its front leg (22) a barb-like profile (23).
  4. Folder according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the front folder cover is formed by a narrow strip (12) connected to the rear folder cover (14) and a transparent or translucent plastic sheet (11) articulated to its border (18) by means of a film hinge.
  5. Folder according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the front strip (12) and/or the rear folder cover (14) is constructed in double-walled manner in the area adjacent to the back (13).
  6. Folder according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the edge (29) is formed by the border (28) of a punched portion (26), whose width roughly corresponds to the displacement path and whose length roughly corresponds to the length of the front leg (22) of the clip (16).
  7. Folder according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the contact edge is arranged on the rear side of the folder.
  8. Folder according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the rear leg (40, 49, 56) of the clip (39, 48, 54) has at least one tongue (43, 50, 55) engaging in an opening.
  9. Folder according to claim 8, characterized in that the opening is formed by a pocket (47).
  10. Folder according to claim 8 or 9, characterized in that the opening (75) is constructed for receiving the tongue (43, 50, 55) in an insert (70) partly projecting through a folder opening (76).
  11. Folder according to any one of the claims 8 to 10, characterized in that the tongues (43, 50, 55) run in the extension of the clip (39, 48, 54) and engage in in each case one slot (53) at right angles to the back (13).
  12. Folder according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that on the inside of its front leg (45), the clip (39, 48, 54) has a flat contact rib (46) for increasing the contact pressure.
  13. Folder according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the clip (16) is secured on the front and rear of the folder.
  14. Folder according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the clip (16) engages with its front leg (22) in a slot (15) in the front folder cover in the vicinity of the folder back (13) and an edge of the clip (16) can be secured behind the border of the slot (15) facing the back (13).
  15. Folder according to claim 14, characterized in that in the vicinity of the slot (15) on the side of the front cover facing the rear cover (14) is fixed an insert in such a way that the front leg (22) of the clip (16) engages on the front of the insert.
  16. Folder according to claim 14 or 15, characterized in that the front folder cover is formed by a strip (12) connected in one piece to the rear folder cover (14) and a sheet (11) fixed to its inside extending between the strip (12) and the rear folder cover (14) roughly to the border (20) of the slot (15) facing the back (13), the strip (12) being roughly as wide as the front leg (22) of the clip (16).
  17. Folder according to claim 16, characterized in that the front sheet (11), in the vicinity of the slot (15), is only connected thereto in the vicinity of the edge of the strip (12) remote from the folder back (13).
  18. Folder according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the rear folder cover (14) and optionally the strip (12) are made from PVC, particularly rigid PVC.
  19. Folder according to any one of the claims 16 to 18, characterized in that the front sheet (11) is made from transparent plastic.
  20. Folder according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the clip is made from plastic.
  21. Folder according to claim 20, characterized in that the clip has a slight undercut for its fixing to the slot border.
