Description

The invention relates to a plantable noise barrier, in particular for shielding highways, railways and industrial noise sources, in which at least the surface of the noise barrier facing the noise source is inclined from its crown towards the noise source, with parallel and spaced-apart, transverse to the longitudinal direction of the noise barrier aligned support structures, planting rib boards arranged obliquely between adjacent support structures and their ends at least in the areas of the support structures facing the noise source can be inserted therein.

Such a plantable noise barrier is known from DE-A-3 034 131. With her, the wooden support structures for the ribbed planks are designed as a scaffold consisting of several, approximately vertically arranged, wooden posts inserted into a concrete foundation, which are connected to one another by longitudinal and transverse struts. The wooden posts have oblique grooves into which the ribbed boards are inserted. The scaffold is filled with potting soil from above, depending on the type of potting soil used, the inner surface of the scaffold is covered with a coarse-mesh mat.

Although the noise barrier mentioned has proven itself in practice, it still requires a considerable amount of construction work, which has an unsatisfactory effect, in particular when the noise barrier is being installed. The individual wooden posts are to be aligned exactly, the longitudinal and transverse struts are to be connected to them using separate fasteners. Because of the small footprint of the wooden posts, a concrete foundation is required as a base for the scaffolding. The wood used has also proven itself, in particular the individual parts of the scaffolding are due to the relatively small Weight easy to handle, disadvantageous is its high price.

From system catalog 82/83 for noise barriers and stone walls, Otto Elsner Verlagsgesellschaft, Darmstadt, pages 242 to 245, a concrete plantable noise barrier is known which has vertical posts embedded in foundations, the lateral end faces of which have notches that run obliquely downwards from the outside . Ribbed supports are tapered in the area of their ends and lie with these areas on the corresponding notches of adjacent posts. Because of the material used, the posts and the planting rib supports are difficult to handle, if only because of the loose connection. A relatively complex foundation for the posts is required between the planting rib supports and the posts. The ribs arranged vertically one above the other also do not allow natural irrigation of the plants of the noise barrier.

Finally, from FR-A-2 575 201 a plantable noise barrier with two parallel and spaced-apart, concrete constructions is known, which accommodate obliquely arranged, also made of concrete ribbed boards. Each support structure is formed by a plurality of superimposed, trapezoidal plate parts, which have recesses between them for receiving the end region of the respective plant rib board, the free end of which protrudes beyond the support structure which has been passed through. Several wall structures designed in this way can be arranged continuously, the projecting ends of the planting rib boards of a wall building structure being able to be arranged abutting the ends of the planting rib boards of the adjacent wall structures.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a noise barrier to create the type mentioned, which can be assembled without heavy lifting equipment, consists of a minimum of different components, is stable in itself, does not require any concrete foundations and at the same time ensures a high degree of sound absorption with no maintenance.

The object is achieved by a noise barrier of the type mentioned at the outset, which is characterized in that the respective holding structure has obliquely extending slots in accordance with the position of the planting rib boards, two supporting rib boards connecting these with the two adjacent holding structures being stored in each slot of a holding structure. which are provided at a distance from their respective ends with cross-sectional areas which are tapered with respect to the end cross sections and which engage behind the holding structures with their ends, the respective holding structure also being designed as a disc, and discs and planting rib boards made of plastic.

The use of plastic enables simple and inexpensive production of homogeneous components which are advantageously pressed or cast in molds. As a plastic, for example, polyethylene comes into question, as well as plastics based on recycling.

The pane according to the invention can be designed as a flat plate or consist of several plate-shaped pane parts placed one above the other, each of which is provided with the slots for receiving the planting rib boards. If sufficient stability of the disk is ensured, it can additionally be provided with one or a plurality of recesses; in extreme cases, only one annular surface remains which receives the slots at least in the area facing the noise source. The hitherto known cross struts or other support components are eliminated by the design of the holding structure in the manner of a one-piece or multi-piece, frame-like disk.

Scheibenteilen bedarf. An essential element of the present invention lies in the plug connection of the planting rib boards with the corresponding slices or slice parts. In addition to the known load-bearing function, the planting rib boards also serve to fasten the disks or disk parts without requiring special fastening means between the planting rib boards and the disks or disk parts.

To form the noise barrier according to the invention, panes or pane parts are arranged adjacent to one another and the planting rib boards are inserted into their slots. Subsequently, the space between the panes or pane parts is filled with planting earth before, in the event of the noise barrier being formed by a plurality of pane parts arranged one above the other, the next pane parts are placed and the planting rib boards are inserted into them, and potting soil is filled up again, etc. until the complete noise barrier is formed after the uppermost pane parts have been put on.

This creates a stable unit, the weight acting on the ribbed boards when the noise barrier is filled with potting soil further increases stability. The noise protection wall formed from the ribs and the panes stands by itself, so no concrete foundation is required to fix the panes, it is only necessary to ensure that the soil is compacted so that the noise barrier does not sink. Due to the immediate support of the noise barrier on the ground, the poured earth of the noise barrier grows with the topsoil, so that the topsoil forms a unit with the poured earth and additionally stabilizes the planted noise barrier.

The connecting function of the planting rib boards with the slices takes place in the simplest way by the formation of the cross-section which is tapered in relation to the other cross section of the respective planting rib board, so that the thicker end engages behind the respective pane through the slot.

In principle, the present invention relates to a noise protection wall in which at least the surface of the noise protection wall facing the noise source is inclined from its crown toward the noise source. The noise barrier can thus be designed both as a retaining wall integrated into an embankment, in which the plant rib boards are provided only on the surface facing the noise source, and also free-standing, in this case the plant rib boards are assigned to the surface facing and facing away from the noise source, the latter surface from the Crown of the noise barrier is inclined away from the noise source. Due to the inclination of the surface, natural irrigation is absorbed, so that the noise barrier can be greened without artificial irrigation. It is entirely within the scope of the present invention to make the inclined surfaces convex or concave, it is crucial that the crown width of the noise barrier is smaller than the contact width. Optimal irrigation results can be achieved if the disc has the shape of a trapezoid, in particular an isosceles trapezoid, and the planting rib boards are arranged in both leg regions of the disc.

A particularly simple connection of the disc and planting rib board results if the slot in question is T-shaped, the bar of the slot having a slightly larger cross section than that of the respective end of the planting board and the butt joint of the slot of the slot having a width has, which is slightly larger than the width of the tapered cross-sectional area of the ribbed board. To connect the parts, the end of the ribbed planting board is pushed into the beam of the slot until the tapered cross-sectional area can be moved into the web of the slot. If the depth of the web corresponds to twice the thickness of the end of the planting rib board, a second planting rib board connected to another neighboring pane can be inserted into the same slot and secures the planting rib board previously inserted into the web are stored in the same slot, due to the almost identical points of attack of the plant rib boards on the disc, no significant bending moments are introduced into it.

In the case of the multi-part design of the disc, the disc parts can expediently be connected to one another in a form-fitting manner, in particular in the manner of a tongue and groove connection, in order to increase the rigidity of the disc as such. In addition, in the case of the one-part or multi-part pane, the pane edge in the leg regions can have projections extending over the length of the legs and perpendicular to them.

To save weight, the disc or the disc parts can have a recess, in particular a trapezoidal recess, between the two rows of slots arranged in the leg regions of the disc or disc parts.

In order to prevent bending, each planting rib board should have a reinforcement extending perpendicular to the large board surface between the tapered areas located at both ends, the cross section of the reinforcing rib increasing in accordance with the bending moment line of the planting rib board to the center of the board. The reinforcing rib is advantageously arranged on the top of the planting rib board in the region of the longitudinal edge adjacent to the interior of the noise protection wall. Due to their arrangement in the pressure zone of the planting rib board, the poured soil is retained on the one hand, on the other hand, with optimal stability of the planting rib board, the underside can be flat, the projected area of the respective planting rib board is thus minimal and the sound waves essentially hit the highly absorbent Medium earth / plants on.

To prevent sagging, support elements can also be provided, each of which engages under the upper plant rib board, in particular in the region of its center, and is supported on the plant rib board or floor located underneath. The support elements can be firmly connected to the underside of the planting rib boards and can be inserted into the upper side of the planting rib board located underneath. You can also form a board-shaped carrier with slots, thus a kind of rack, which is supported on the ground and with its slots receives the ribbed boards.

Tests have shown that there are excellent absorption properties of the noise barrier when all plant rib boards have identical dimensions and the row of plant rib boards located in the respective leg region are inclined at a bank angle of 8 to 12 °, in particular 10 °, and the individual plant rib boards are inclined at a bank angle of 40 to 50 °, in particular 45 ° to the horizontal and have such a free distance from one another that the lower and the upper edge of two neighboring plant rib boards lie approximately on the cone line of the earth filling. Such a configuration with a high degree of delicacy and various inclined planes ensures that the sound waves are not immediately reflected, but only emerge again after multiple reflections.

In order to be able to absorb the transverse forces introduced into the noise barrier, particularly in the case of wind, it is provided that a diagonal spar which can be positively connected to it is arranged between adjacent panes or pane parts. The respective end of the diagonal spar can be inserted and connected in accordance with the plant rib board into the pane or the pane part, without the need for additional fastening means.

In order to support the growth of the plants, particularly during the planting period, it is provided that each disc or the uppermost disc part in the region of the crown of the noise protection wall adjacent to each leg region has a through hole arranged in the longitudinal direction of the noise protection wall and through the through holes of the adjacent discs or adjacent top A water-bearing dropper hose is guided through the glass parts. During the initial irrigation, part of the water enters the earth directly in the area of the crown of the noise barrier, the remaining water slowly makes its way down along the ribbed boards by climbing over the boards and penetrates into the interior of the noise barrier as the irrigation period progresses.

The noise barrier shown in FIG. 1 essentially consists of one-piece disks 1 and planting rib boards 2 connecting adjacent disks 1. Each disk 1 has the shape of an isosceles trapezoid, a trapezoidal opening 4 is provided symmetrically to the central axis 3. To increase the bending stiffness, the length of the lateral pane edges extend perpendicular to these projections 5. The two leg regions 6 and 7 of the pane 1 remaining between the projections 5 and the recess 4 each have rows of slots 8 consisting of six slots 8. As can be seen in particular from the illustration in FIG. 5, the rows of slots run parallel to the shoulders 5 at an angle α of 10 ° to the vertical. Each slot 8 is T-shaped, the bar 9 of the slot 8 in question having a slightly larger cross section than that of the respective end 10 of the planting rib board 2 and the web 11 of the slot 8 butting the middle of the bar 9 having a width, which is slightly larger than the width of the tapered cross-sectional area 12 of the planting rib board 2. The depth of the web 11 corresponds approximately to twice the thickness of the end 10 of the planting rib board 2. The beam 9 of the slot 8 is inclined upwards with its end facing the shoulder 5, the angle of inclination βʹ is 45 ° to the horizontal.

Der Querschnitt der Verstärkungsrippe 16 nimmt entsprechend der Biegemomentenlinie des Pflanzrippenbrettes 2 zur Brettmitte hin zu.All planting rib boards 2 are of identical design, as can be seen in particular from the illustration in FIGS. 2 to 4, they have a rectangular cross section, spaced apart from the two ends 10 of each planting rib board 2 are the tapered regions 12, which likewise have a rectangular cross section A reinforcing rib 16, which extends perpendicular to the upper side 14, is arranged between the regions 12 on the upper side adjacent to the longitudinal edge 15. The cross section of the reinforcing rib 16 increases in accordance with the bending moment line of the planting rib board 2 towards the middle of the board.

To erect the noise barrier, two panes 1 are first set up at a distance from one another which corresponds approximately to the length of a ribbed board 2. It then becomes a first plant rib board 2 with one end 10 for example through the bar 9 of the uppermost slot 8 of the leg area 6 and, when the tapered area 12 is covered with the web 11 of the slot 8, the planting rib board 2 is moved into the web 11, where it comes into contact with the bottom 17 of the web 11. In this position, the planting rib board 2 is inclined according to the orientation of the beam 9 at an angle β of 45 ° to the horizontal, it passes through the lower half of the web 11. In the manner described, the other end 10 of this planting rib board 2 with the corresponding another slot 8 of the other disk 1 connected, then the further plant rib boards 2 are inserted into the corresponding slots 8. As shown in the middle disk 1a of the noise barrier, the depth of the web 11, which corresponds to twice the thickness of the end 10 of the ribbed board 2, allows the ribbed boards 2 to be inserted into the same slot 8 from both sides of the disk 1a, the upper one Board secures the lower board.

The formation and arrangement of the disks 1 and planting rib boards 2 creates a stable structure, no additional foundations holding the disks 1 are required, the disks 1 are rather supported directly on the solidified soil or, if appropriate, one arranged below the contact area of the disks 1 a sinking of the disks into the earth preventing the stamped concrete foundation. In order to prevent the noise barrier from tilting lengthways in the event of large wind loads, wind bracing is arranged at greater intervals. They consist of square diagonal bars 18 with lugs 19 at their ends, which have L-shaped holes 20 made at the top in one pane and below in the adjacent pane. The respective wind bandage is assembled by first inserting the downward-facing lugs 19 into the vertical leg 21 of the corresponding holes 20, and then pulling the spar 18 into the horizontal leg 22 with a rotational movement of 90 ° until it is laterally on the Disc 1 rests and the nose 19 engages behind the disc 1.

The disks 1 and the planting rib boards 2 provided with reinforcing ribs are each formed in one piece, they consist of plastic, for example polyethylene or recycling material, the parts are pressed or cast in molds and have a homogeneous structure.

In particular, FIGS. 1 and 5 to 8 illustrate the advantages which can be achieved in the noise barrier according to the invention by the position of the planting rib boards in the panes and relative to one another and the design of the planting rib boards. Thus, the individual planting rib boards have such a free distance from one another that the lower edge 24 and the upper edge 25 of two neighboring planting rib boards 2 lie approximately on the cutting cone line 26 of the earth filling, which extends at an angle γ of approximately 45 ° to the horizontal. The planting soil can thus be kept open in the noise barrier, the reinforcing ribs 16 arranged in the region of the lower edges 24 of the planting rib boards 2 not only serving to increase the section modulus of the reinforcing rib but also holding back the planting soil. Due to the large number of ribbed planks and their position in relation to the sound source, a surface structure with a high degree of delicacy and various inclined planes is achieved, whereby large surfaces facing the sound source consist of the highly absorbent medium earth / plants.

Figures 6 to 8 illustrate that due to the fine structure and the various inclined planes, the sound waves are not immediately reflected, but only emerge after multiple reflections including the medium earth / plants. FIG. 6 shows the sound entry in the upper third, S denotes the sound entry, r the sound exit or reflection, FIG. 7 shows the sound entry in the lower third and FIG. 8 shows the central sound entry. The multiple reflections mean that with the noise barrier according to the invention an unexpectedly high level of sound absorption of about 18 db (A) according to ZTV-LSW 81 can be achieved, so that the noise barrier is to be classified as highly absorbent.

The arrangement of the rows of plant rib boards at an angle α of 10 ° to the vertical makes it possible to set the noise barrier very steeply, so that it only requires about 1/6 of the space of conventional constructions. Despite the steep arrangement, the inclined position of the ribbed planks at an angle β of 45 ° enables natural irrigation to be caught, so that greening without artificial irrigation is possible. In order to make it easier for the plants to grow in the first year, an irrigation device in the manner of water-carrying dropper hoses 27 is provided, in each case a dropper hose 27 is arranged in the region 28 of the crown 28 of the noise barrier adjacent to each leg region 6 or 7 in the longitudinal direction of the noise barrier and penetrates correspondingly in the longitudinal direction the noise protection wall in the panes 1 through holes 29. By means of the water-carrying drip hoses 27 there is a slow sprinkling of the soil with optimal use of the water capacity. In the first irrigation phase, the water slowly makes its way down, along the plant rib boards 2 by climbing over the boards, as shown schematically in FIG. 5 by arrows B, and penetrates into the loose soil of the planting niches. As irrigation progresses, the water gets into the more densely compacted outer earth zones and finally penetrates into the heavily compacted earth core until the wall is completely moist. In dry weather, the water is released in the reverse order, the core slowly releases the water to the surface. The sprinkling through the water-bearing dropper hoses offers, as an additional effect, the possibility of compacting the filled soil with slurries. This avoids repeated refilling of the soil up to the expected settlement in the first year. There are no floods due to the slow entry of water into the potting soil.

Mit der ersten Ausführungsform übereinstimmende Teile wurden der Einfachheit halber mit gleichen Bezugsziffern bezeichnet.FIGS. 9 to 14 show a second embodiment of the noise barrier according to the invention. Parts corresponding to the first embodiment have been given the same reference numerals for the sake of simplicity.

The second embodiment differs, as can be seen from FIGS. 9 and 10, by the horizontal subdivision of the disk 1, which has the shape of an isosceles trapezoid, into the disk parts 1b, 1c, 1d and 1e, which also has the shape of an isosceles trapezoid. The disc parts are each provided on their undersides with a groove 30, in which a spring 31 arranged on the disc part located underneath and on the upper side thereof engages. This is shown by way of example for the disk parts 1b and 1c in FIG. 10, the dimension of the spring 31 of the disk part 1b corresponds to the dimension of the groove 30 of the disk part 1c located above it, so that when the disk parts 1b and 1c are inserted into one another, a firm, positive connection of the two Washer parts is guaranteed. The height of the pane parts 1b and 1c and that of the pane parts 1d and 1e are identical, the former being twice as high as the latter. To form the noise barrier, two pane parts 1b are first placed adjacent to one another and connected by means of the planting rib boards 2. Subsequently, planting soil is filled into the space formed between the disc parts 1b before the next disc parts 1c are then placed on the disc parts 1b and the corresponding ribbed planks 2 are inserted into them. The space formed between the disc parts 1c is then filled with planting earth in the manner described, the further side parts 1d and then 1e are subsequently placed as described, by dividing the disc 1 into several disc parts 1b to 1e to form the Noise protection wall only requires a few parts that are justifiable for a modular system. The pane parts which have the small height dimensions serve for the exact height adjustment of the noise protection wall to a predetermined height. The single ones Window parts can be connected to each other in different ways. A tongue and groove connection is not absolutely necessary; the connection can also be made, for example, by means of clamping elements which overlap adjacent pane parts.

As can be seen from the illustration in FIG. 9, the planting rib boards 2 are flat, they thus correspond to the ones shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, but the reinforcing ribs 16 which reduce the deflection are missing. To prevent bending, a board-shaped support 32 is also included Slits 33 provided, the carrier is supported on the ground and receives with its slots 33 in the slot thickness adapted plant rib boards 2. The carrier 32 can be formed in one piece, as shown in FIG. 9 or in several parts, as illustrated in FIG. 11, where a number of support elements 34 and 34a, corresponding to the number of planting rib boards 2, accommodate the planting rib boards in the slots 33. To connect the support elements to one another, the support elements 33 and 34a have springs 35, corresponding to the design of the disc parts 1b to 1e, which can be inserted into the underside of the slot elements located above them. The support element 34 is smooth on its underside and is used for support on the floor, the uppermost support element 34 is also smooth on the top.

The modified planting rib board 2 shown in FIGS. 12 to 14 has on its underside a support element 37 of a parallelogram shape, the length of which is dimensioned such that when the planting board 2 is inserted, its underside 38 is supported on the planting board 2 underneath. A groove 39 is embedded in the underside 38, the upper side of the planting rib board 2 has a correspondingly designed tongue 40, onto which the planting rib board with its groove 39 can be attached. When using the modified plant rib boards, the board-shaped carrier 32 can thus be omitted, since the planting rib boards support each other directly via the support elements 37. The preferred embodiment of the support of the planting rib boards 2 can be seen in the board-shaped carrier 32, which is inclined in accordance with the arrangement of the front edge 41 of the trapezoidal disc 1 and is thus prevented from being moved unintentionally in connection with the oblique arrangement of the planting rib boards 2.
