Ferner können bei Holzdecken Montageschwierigkeiten dadurch sich ergeben, daß über dem Eckpfosten kein Deckenbalken liegt, welcher eine stabile Befestigung ermöglichen würde; zusätzliche Querverstrebungen oder dergleichen werden bei entsprechendem Montageaufwand erforderlich. Die vorgeschlagene Duschabtrennung weist einen funktionsgerechten und kostengünstigen Aufbau auf und gewährleistet bei geringem Materialeinsatz eine gute Stabilität des Wandelements. Die Quertraverse enthält eine horizontale Bodenplatte und einen umlaufenden Rand, wobei durch die somit erreichte U-förmige Querschnittsform eine gute Stabilität mit geringem Materialeinsatz erreicht wird. Die Quertraverse kann in einfacher Weise, insbesondere durch Spritzgießen aus Kunststoff oder Metall hergestellt werden. Die in den Randteilen der Quertraverse angeordneten Anlageflächen ermöglichen eine zuverlässige Befestigung, wobei die Größe der Anlageflächen zur Vermeidung von hohen Flächenpressungen problemlos vorgegeben werden kann. Insbesondere bei Ausbildung des Wandelements aus einer Glasplatte wird eine Beschädigung im Verbindungsbereich zwischen der Quertraverse und der Glasplatte zuverlässig vermieden. Die Quertraverse kann in einem vorgebbaren Abstand unterhalb der Oberkante des Wandelements angeordnet werden, wodurch das Einbringen des Langloches in das Wandelement problemlos erfolgen kann, ohne daß eine Beschädigung oder gar das Zerspringen des gesamten Wandelements zu befürchten ist. Das als Glasplatte ausgebildete Wandelement kann mit seinen beiden vertikalen Längskanten jeweils in eine vertikale Profilschiene eingesetzt sein. Ein Schwenken zwecks Ausrichten in die exakt horizontale Lage wird hierdurch ermöglicht. Die Quertraverse 21 liegt mit ihrer zweiten Anlagefläche 33 an der Raumwand 10 an. Zwischen dem Ansatz 63 und der Raumwand 10 ist die Quertraverse 21 im Abstand 45 zum Wandelement 80 angeordnet. Der Teil 65 des Randes verläuft in diesem Bereich parallel zum Wandelement 80. The elongated hole 37 running in the horizontal direction is indicated by dash-dotted lines and is arranged at a distance 77 from the upper edge 87 of the wall element 80. This distance 77 ensures that the elongated hole 37 can be introduced into the wall element 80 without any problems during the production thereof. The slot 37 is made in the wall element 80 at the factory, so that no holes have to be drilled on site during assembly.

Figur 5 zeigt einen Schnitt entlang Schnittlinie V entsprechend der Figur 1, wobei jedoch Wandelement 80 und Drehflügel 2 gegeneinander vertauscht sind. Die Rahmenprofilschiene 11 übergreift mit ihren abgerundeten Schenkeln die im wesentlichen im Inneren angeordnete Profilschiene 15, welche mittels Schrauben an der Raumwand 10 befestigt ist. Zur einstellbaren Verbindung der Rahmenprofilschiene 11 mit der Wandprofilschiene 15 sind in vertikaler Richtung beabstandet wenigstens zwei Schrauben 47 vorgesehen, welche jeweils einen sich quer zur Raumwand erstreckenden Schlitz 49 des zugeordneten Schenkels der Wandprofilschiene 15 durchgreifen. Im Inneren der Wandprofilschiene 15 ist ein Klemmkörper 51 vorhanden, der ebenfalls von der Schraube 47 durchdrungen wird und eine Mutter 53 für die Schraube 47 aufweist. Der Klemmkörper 51 ist in seiner Anlagefläche an den Schenkeln des Wandprofiles 15 ebenso wie dieses dort mit einer vertikalen, also sich senkrecht zur Zeichenebene erstreckenden Riffelung 55 versehen. Es ist ersichtlich, daß durch Lösen der Schraube 47 die Rahmenprofilschiene 11 bezüglich der Wandprofilschiene 15 in Richtung des Pfeiles 57 verstellbar ist. Da das Wandelement 80 auch bezüglich der fest mit der Raumwand verbundenen Quertraverse aufgrund der erläuterten Langlöcher verstellbar und ausrichtbar ist, kann mit geringem Aufwand die Montage durchgeführt werden. Der zum Schenkelende offene Schlitz 49 ermöglicht problemlos das Aufschieben der Rahmenprofilschiene 11 auf die Wandprofilschiene 15 nachdem letztere an der Raumwand 10 befestigt worden ist.FIG. 5 shows a section along section line V corresponding to FIG. 1, but the wall element 80 and rotating wing 2 are interchanged. The slot 49 open at the end of the leg enables the frame profile rail 11 to be pushed onto the wall profile rail 15 after the latter has been fastened to the room wall 10 without any problems.

Das Eckprofil 36 enthält ferner ein Anschlagprofil 38 für den Drehflügel 2. Dieses Anschlagprofil 38 weist einerseits eine Dichtlippe 84 auf, welche an der Innenseite des Drehflügels 2 dichtend anliegt. Claims (10)

  1. Shower partition with a wall element (80), that in particular comprises at least in part light transparent material and in particular is arranged by means of a frame-profiled-rail (11) on fixed wall, preferably the wall (10) of a room, and with a cross-piece (21) which is fixed, on one side, by a first external and vertical support surface (31) to the wall element (80) and, on the other side, by a second external and vertical support surface (33) to the fixed wall,
    characterised in that the cross-piece (21) has a horizontally arranged bottom plate (27) and an edge extending around the whole periphery thereof, the support surfaces (31,33) being arranged on the edge parts, and in the vicinity of the first support surface (31) the wall element (80) or the edge part (67) there is provided an elongated hole (37 or 40) through which a fixing element (39) extends to secure the wall element (80) to the cross-piece (21).
  2. Shower partition according to Claim 1 characterised in that the cross-piece (21) is arranged at a distance (77) below the upper edge (87) of the wall element (80), which is in particular of glass, in the interior of the shower partition, whereby an opening (79) is arranged in the bottom plate (27).
  3. Shower partition according to Claim 1 or Claim 2, characterised in that the wall element (80) is arranged adjustably against the wall (10) of the room or a wall-profiled-rail (15) by means of a frame-profiled-rail (11), and/or in that the frame-profiled-rail (11) is connected by means of a transverse strut (17) to a corner-profiled-rail (36) arranged at a second vertical longitudinal edge of the wall element (80) whereby the cross-piece (21) is secured below the upper edge (87) of the wall element (80).
  4. Shower partition according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the bottom plate (27) is substantially triangular in shape and comprises an extension (63), also lying in the horizontal plane, which points towards the wall element (80) and comprises the edge part (67) with the first support surface (31) against which the wall element (80) bears directly.
  5. Shower partition according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the cross-piece (21) comprises an edge part (65) which is arranged substantially parallel with the wall element (80) at a predetermined distance (45) therefrom and extends between the wall (10) of the room and the extension (63).
  6. Shower partition according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the cross-piece (21) comprises, in the vicinity of the second support surface (33), at least one elongated hole (41,43) for the purpose of alignment in relation to the wall (10) of the room.
  7. Shower partition according to claim 6, characterised in that, in the vicinity of the second support surface (33), one elongated hole (41) is arranged horizontally and another elongated hole (43) is arranged vertically.
  8. Shower partition according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the cross-piece (21) is in the form of a receptacle for soap, or the like.
  9. Shower partition according to one of Claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the edge (29) projects vertically upwardly beyond the bottom plate (27).
  10. Shower partition according to one of Claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the cross-piece (21) is substantially triangular in shape and is provided at the apex with an extension (63) to the first support surface (31) in such a manner that there is provided a free space (45) between the inside of the wall element (80) and the wall-profiled-rail (15).
