Manschetten der oben genannten Art sind bereits bekannt geworden beispielsweise durch das DE-G 85 30 877. Solche Einrichtungen haben sich in der Praxis sehr bewährt und werden angewendet z.B. zum Entstauen des Gewebes von Extremitäten. Hierbei sind die bekannten Manschetten so ausgebildet, daß sie mit den Einzelkammern um die zu entstauenden Extremitäten, beispielsweise einem bestimmten Armteil oder Beinteil, herum gelegt werden. Sie werden dann verbunden mit einer Steuereinrichtung, die mit einer entsprechenden Druckquelle verbunden ist, die die einzelnen Kammern die Manschette nacheinander mit einem gewünschten Druck in einer gewünschten Geschwindigkeit aufbläst bzw. nachfolgend wieder entlastet, so daß die Gewebeflüssigkeit langsam vorwärts getrieben wird. Um die röhrenförmigen Hohlkammern, die sich schuppenartig überdeckend angeordnet sind, zu halten, sind diese an ihren schmalen Stirnseiten nahtartig zusammengelegt, verschlossen und auf einer gemeinsamen Unterlage befestigt. Hierbei erfolgt die Befestigung im Bereich der Naht an einem geringen Nahtüberstand, der an die gemeinsame Unterlage anvulkanisiert oder in sonstiger geeigneter Weise an dieser gemeinsamen Unterlage befestigt ist. Die erfindungsgemäße Manschette 1 besteht im Ausführungsbeispiel nach Figur 1 im wesentlichen aus mehreren rohrförmigen Hohlkammern 2, die parallel zueinander und sich gegenseitig schuppenförmig überdeckend angeordnet sind. Jede Hohlkammer 2 weist einen Anschluß 3 für eine Füllung mit einem Fluid, z.B. mit Luft, auf. An ihren schmalen Stirnseiten 4 sind diese Hohlkammern 2 durch eine Quernaht 12 verschlossen, die in einem Abstand 13 vom stirnseitigen Ende 14 der Hohlkammer 2 verläuft, so daß dort eine flache Lasche entsteht, die als Befestigungslasche 6 benutzt wird. Die gesamte Hohlkammer 2 einschl. der Befestigungslappen 6 kann gebildet werden aus zwei übereinander gelegten flachen Werkstoffstreifen 8 und 9 aus geeigneten Werkstoff, die z.B. über eine jeweils an ihrer freien Breitseite 10 und 11 verlaufenden Schweißnaht oder Klebenaht 20 bzw. 21 miteinander verbunden sind. Hierdurch wird jeweils eine Röhre gebildet, die nach Anbringung der bereits genannten Quernaht 12 zur Hohlkammer 2 wird. Der so an den schmalen Stirnseiten 4 jeder Hohlkammer 2 entstandene Befestigungslappen 6 weist eine Länge 16 auf, die größer ist als die Breite 17 der unaufgeblasenen Hohlkammer. Es wird also im Überdeckungs­bereich die jeweils obere Hohlkammer 2 von der gemeinsamen Unterlage 5 abgehoben, wobei ein ungewollt weites Abheben durch die Befesti­gungslappen 6 verhindert sind, die damit entsprechend belastet werden. Im rißgefährdeten Überdeckungsbereich sorgt jedoch die größere Länge 16 des Befestigungslappens 6 dafür, daß im Bereich 15, der den längeren Teil 18 des Befestigungslappens 6 umfaßt, eine verringerte Reißbe­lastung auf die Befestigungsnaht an der freien Längsseite 7 des Befestigungslappens 6 ausgeübt wird, so daß an dieser vorderen Stelle die Befestigungsnaht nunmehr den üblichen Beanspruchungen sicher standhält. Die Ausrundung 19 sorgt hierbei für eine Übergang, mit dem neue zusätzliche Spannungen vermieden werden.
Es ist jedoch auch möglich, den längeren Teil 18 so, wie mit dem Verlauf der Linie 22 in Figur 1 angedeutet, zu gestalten und in die freie Breitseite 11 einer Hohlkammer 2 übergehen zu lassen.
