Piece of furniture according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a lower portion (2) comprising a surface of exhibition of foodstuff put on sale and an upper portion (3) provided with strips or side plates (14) constituting a housing for the closing and screen device (5) in the up position and serving as a support for ornamentation, information or advertisement and lighting.
  3. Piece of furniture according to one of claims 1 and 2, having an exhibition surface with a width defined by the points A and B and equal to d, an edge height of the reflector (12) in front of this exhibition surface AB, marked by points B and C and equal to h, C being on the vertical line passing through B, the angle formed of the straight lines joining the point C and the points A and B being equal to alpha, characterized in that in the closing and screen device (5), the reflector (12) is provided with a cross-section exhibiting a curvature constituted by an arc defined by points D, C of a circle with a center O defined by the point of meeting of a bisectrix CO of the angle alpha and of a mid-perpendicular of the width AB and with a radius R equal to the product of one half of the value (d) of this width AB by the reciprocal of the sine of an angle equal to one half of the angle alpha.
  4. Piece of furniture according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that in the closing and screen device (5), the reflector (12) is made from a material selected among the metals with a reflecting surface, the reflecting metal-sprayed materials and the materials with a reflecting surface.
  5. Piece of furniture according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that in the closing and screen device (5), the reflector (12) is constituted by one single member.
  6. Piece of furniture according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that in the closing and screen devices (5), the reflector (12) is constituted by an assembly of component parts the colour of which is selected among a uniform colour and several matched colours.
  7. Piece of furniture according to claim 2, characterized in that in the upper portion (3), the strips or side plates (14) are constituted by materials selected among the transparent, translucent and opaque materials.
  8. Piece of furniture according to claim 2, characterized in that it comprises in its upper portion (3) serving as a lighting support, a system of tubes and/or of electric bulbs which illuminates the foodstuff exhibition surface in the lower portion (2) and the strips or side plates (14) with a light selected among the direct and reflected, diffused and bundle-shaped or spot-shaped, white and monochromic or polychromic lights.
  9. Piece of furniture according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the closing and screen device (5) is suspended from the upper portion (3) of the piece of furniture by means of cables or straps (6) and of loose pulleys (7) and displaced in its up and down positions by the control of an electric motor (9) and of the transmission shafts (10) effecting a winding of these cables or straps (6) into storage pulleys (8) and an unwinding thereof from these pulleys (8), respectively.
