Definitions
- the present invention relates to an apparatus for brushing the body in the shower, comprising at least one brush formed from a bottom supporting bristles, said brushes being mounted on the front face of a housing and rotated by water. power supply using a turbine and gear reduction housed in the housing.
- Such an apparatus is known from CH 523 683. It comprises three pairs of brushes and at the center of each brush is provided a hollow axis for bringing the supply water to the brushes, these axes being each connected by a supply hose to a tank receiving the feed water.
- Such a construction is relatively complicated and expensive.
- the object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for brushing the body in the shower, of simple and inexpensive construction.
- the apparatus according to the invention is produced as described in claim 1.
- the feed water is brought to the center of the brushes through openings in the front face of the housing and in the flat bottom of the brushes, which leads to a particularly simple construction.
- Figure 1 shows the front face 1 of the housing supporting in the illustrated example a set of three circular brushes 2 with a flat bottom 3 at the periphery of which is fixed a crown of bristles, as illustrated more particularly in Figure 3.
- the three brushes are arranged in a triangle and a supply water inlet 5 is provided at the base of the housing.
- the device according to the invention is intended to be mounted on the wall, either fixedly or detachably. It can be mounted in rails not shown and be adjustable in height. The device is more particularly but not exclusively intended for washing the backs of disabled people.
- the housing is in two parts; it comprises a front plate 1 and a rear part 1 ⁇ , these two parts being joined by seals not shown.
- the feed water inlet 5 can be connected to the water distribution network and it delivers this pressurized water to a turbine 7 through a pipe 6.
- the turbine is rotated at high speed and it carries a pinion 8 driving a gear train 9 to 12.
- the pinion and the gear train form a reduction ratio by which the linked brushes rigidly the gears 9, 10 and 11 are rotated at relatively low speed but with sufficient torque to allow the rotation of the brushes even when the user leans strongly against them.
- Figures 1 to 3 show that the front plate 1 of the housing is pierced for example with four openings 13 disposed under each of the brushes, these openings corresponding to openings 14 provided in the flat bottom 3 of the brushes 2.

Description
The present invention relates to an apparatus for brushing the body in the shower, comprising at least one brush formed from a bottom supporting bristles, said brushes being mounted on the front face of a housing and rotated by water. power supply using a turbine and gear reduction housed in the housing.
Such an apparatus is known from CH 523 683. It comprises three pairs of brushes and at the center of each brush is provided a hollow axis for bringing the supply water to the brushes, these axes being each connected by a supply hose to a tank receiving the feed water. Such a construction is relatively complicated and expensive.
Pour attteindre ce but, l'appareil selon l'invention est réalisé comme décrit dans la revendication 1.Consequently, the object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for brushing the body in the shower, of simple and inexpensive construction. To achieve this object, the apparatus according to the invention is produced as described in
The feed water is brought to the center of the brushes through openings in the front face of the housing and in the flat bottom of the brushes, which leads to a particularly simple construction.

Figure 1 shows the
Figures 1 to 3 show that the
As a variant, it is possible to provide a removable attachment (not shown) of the brushes to the corresponding gears, in order to allow an easy exchange of these brushes. In the case where the device is removably mounted on the wall, provision can be made to add it two handles (not shown) for easy and quick mounting to the housing, these handles allowing the user to wash the front of his body. In this case, the
Figure 6 shows schematically that the water inlet 5 of the device is provided with a thread to allow its connection to a shower hose. This connection, which does not belong to the device according to the invention and which is not shown, consists of a male connection screwed onto the screw thread of the
