Definitions
- the invention relates to a vacuum cleaner with a filter device according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the same is based on the task of ensuring continuous operation even in the case of heavy soiling and performing the necessary cleaning work easily and quickly, as well as allowing the flow of dust and coarse particles and the latter to be eliminated.
- FIGs. 1 to 6 1 denotes an air guide tube serving in a conventional manner at the same time as a handle, 2 the suction nozzle to be guided over the surface to be cleaned, 3 the filter housing connected to the air guide tube 1 and 1 'the air guide tube, which leads to the hose (not shown) and mobile fan leads.
- the filter housing 3 consists of at least two partially inserted housing parts 3 ', 3''(Fig. 6), which have a larger diameter than the air duct 1.
- the two parts 3 ', 3''of the filter housing 3 can also be connected to one another by a ribbed screw sleeve 5 (FIG. 2) or with a direct injection molded internal or external thread.
- a flat, dimensionally stable filter disc 8 (FIG. 2), provided with holes 7 and lying in the direction of flow of the air stream, is interchangeably mounted on an axis 6 passing through it.
- An end part of the axis 6 protrudes from the housing part 3 'and has a manual actuating element 9, so that the filter disk 8 can be rotated in the air flow direction indicated by arrows A.
- the actuator 9 is a cylindrical head in Fig. 2 and 5 in Fig. 4, however, an angle lever 9 '.
- an automatically acting diaphragm valve 10 is fastened in the housing part 3 ′′ by screws or rivets 11.
- the membrane 10 Before the start of the passage of air and when decommissioning, the membrane 10 assumes the position shown in FIG. 2. If suction air gets into the filter housing 3, the diaphragm valve 10 is opened, as shown by the dashed lines in FIG. 2, and reaches the filter disk 8. Large particles that are carried along fall off the filter disk 8 and reach the collecting space 12, the bottom part of which passes through the inner walls the housing parts 3 ', 3''is limited. Fine particles, on the other hand, pass through the holes 7 of the filter disk 8. If the holes 7 are partially or completely blocked, the axis 6 is rotated by 180 degrees by means of the actuating element 9 in relation to the position according to FIG. 2, so that the air flow from the rear side flows through the filter disk 8 and any foreign matter that obstructs the holes 7 completely or partially.
- the filter housing 3 When the filter housing 3 is opened, the fan producing the air flow being switched off beforehand, the coarse parts located in the collecting space 12 can be easily removed.
- the diaphragm valve 10 closes automatically into the position shown in FIG. 6 and prevents foreign bodies from falling back. In order to clean the filter disc, it is simply brought into the position according to FIG. 2 by means of the actuating element 9 or 9 ′ and the axis 6.
- FIG. 2 shows the position of the filter disk, in which dust and coarse particles can be taken along by the air flow and pass through the filter housing, from which the latter pass through the air duct 1 'into the connected dust bag at the fan.
- the filter device for vacuum cleaners is suitable for all kinds of private and industrial use and can be easily installed in both new and existing versions.
- the filter disk 8 can be covered with a dry or wetted fabric web.
- the fabric sheets must e.g. be attached by the frame of the filter disc.
- the filter housing 3 'with the filter disk 8 is to be arranged between the two parts 1, 2.
- the housing 3, 3 ' consists of transparent, impact-resistant plastic, the amount and type of coarse parts can be determined without opening the filter.
- the filter body 8 can be designed for coarse and fine filtration and the exchange of the same with other hole sizes can be carried out quickly and easily, in particular if the housing 3 is in three parts.
- a second fine filter disc 13 is arranged in the housing part 3 ′′ at a distance from the filter disc 8.
- This fine filter disk 13 has tiny, small, not shown holes.
- the fine filter disk 13 is covered with a porous filter film made of paper or a fabric, which is also not particularly shown.
- the peripheral side of the fine filter disk 13 is clamped between the contact sides 14 of the housing parts 3 ', 3''and, in contrast to the filter disk 8, is stationary and removable. The latter is only used if necessary, especially for searching or Filtering of very fine particles used.
- the actuator 9 for rotating the filter disc 8 is designed as a rotary switch.
- the valve 15 denotes an anti-rotation lock against undesired rotation of the housing parts 3 ', 3''with respect to one another. These can be formed by a protruding, elastic cam on the housing part 3 ′′, which engages in a recess located on the housing part 3 ′.
- the valve 10 is again a conventional elastic membrane with three radial cuts.
- the filter device can be used wherever the separation of solid particles in gaseous media is required.
- the filter device can be assigned to any type of ventilation unit.
- the filter device described is a small parts filter, in particular for vacuum cleaners and fans, and is preferably installed in a suction pipe, as shown in FIG. 1.
- the same takes the entrained, mostly unintentionally sucked-in parts, such as jewelry, toy parts, screws, fibers, hair, dirt, etc., from the air flow and retains them in the housing 3.
- the housing 3 is opened by a simple, opposite rotational movement of the housing parts 3 ', 3' '.
- the anti-rotation device 15 prevents the housing 3 from opening automatically during operation. Because the housing 3 is made of transparent, impact-resistant plastic, optimal control of the content is guaranteed without having to open the filter device.
- the filter disk 8 is actuated from the outside with the actuating member 9 and, if necessary, cleans itself into the position shown in FIG. 1.
- the membrane 10 acting as a valve closes automatically when the engine is switched off and prevents it from falling back into the air duct 1 '(Figs. 1 and 6).
