Die Verwendung einer solchen Fangbremse ist vor allem bei Hebezeugen angebracht, die über Ketten angetrieben werden. An einer nicht gezeichneten Hub- und Senkstation ist eine angetriebene Welle 1 gelagert, die über nicht gezeichnete Zahnräder und Ketten mit einem Antriebsmotor verbunden ist. Die inneren Stifte 26a bilden je feste Widerlager für ein Ende einer Fallenfeder 27, deren anderes Ende der Auslösefeder 14 über einen Federhalter 24 entgegenwirkt, der zusammen mit einem Federträger 23 mittels Schrauben 22 koaxial zum Sperrklinkenbolzen 12 angeordnet ist.
