Description

The invention relates to a ventilation device for sound insulation and installed on a glazing or a wall, comprising two housings arranged on either side of said glazing or wall. On the one hand, these devices make it possible to ventilate a room while constituting an acoustic insulation of this room from outside noise.

The problem of ventilating rooms with openings such as doors, windows or the like while providing sound insulation has already been solved in different ways. In particular, acoustic ventilation devices are known which can be arranged both on the materials constituting the walls and on the glass surfaces of the openings in the room.

Acoustic ventilation devices are therefore already known which consist of one or two housings made from a profile and applied on the wall material by masking on both sides the air vents arranged in said wall; these devices (eg FR-A 2 561 706) use acoustically absorbent materials which are arranged, on the one hand, inside the housings and, on the other hand, on the support prepared for this purpose, so which they impose on the air circulation a non-rectilinear forced trajectory. These known devices which must comply with standards and prescriptions in terms of sound and acoustic insulation and in terms of ventilation, take advantage of the techniques resulting from the application of the physics of fluids and sounds.

These known type of ventilation devices have drawbacks for both users and manufacturers. In the case of two different housings arranged one outside the wall, the other inside, the manufacturing requires many tools, which increases the manufacturing cost. Furthermore, the boxes must allow the discharge of water to the outside and must not interfere with the operation of the openings as well as protections such as shutters, grilles or the like.

Regarding the users, that is to say, the builders of buildings or those involved in renovation works, they must carry out shaping work to prepare the support for the reception of wall lights from the devices described above. , which increases the cost of labor.

The present invention proposes to produce a ventilation device with acoustic insulation, of the type comprising two housings arranged on either side of said glazing or wall whose manufacturing and installation cost is reduced, while achieving good acoustic insulation. .

The acoustically insulated ventilation device according to the invention is notably remarkable in that it consists of two identical elongated housings, which have a ventila hole in a horizontal wall and which are arranged horizontally, symmetrically with respect to a horizontal median axis, of an intermediate support on which each of said housings is detachably fixed, which is arranged in place of said glazing or wall, which has approximately the same mechanical characteristics as the latter and which has two circulation holes arranged in a horizontal plane and a sleeve of washable film-coated material such as a foam having acoustic insulating properties surrounding the intermediate space between the two circulation holes of the intermediate support and producing, in combination with insulating materials located in each of the housings, a duct connecting said ventilation holes and l Said circulation holes and shaped so that they have only smooth walls and without roughness.

Because the two boxes are identical, manufacturing costs are greatly reduced; moreover, the duct providing ventilation having good acoustic qualities, the sound insulation is very satisfactory. The device according to the invention can be used both for repair work and for new work. In the case of a restoration, one can use the intermediate support which requires a cutting of the wall element but one can also place the boxes on the existing wall without any additional preparation. In the case of new works, only the intermediate support intervenes. Indeed, the manufacturer will prepare a reservation in the wall or install a window whose dimensions will allow the installation of this intermediate support. This allows on the one hand to standardize the production and on the other hand to protect the cases and the sleeves which remain in their original packaging until their assembly.

Advantageously, the aforementioned sleeve and the insulating material of the housings are shaped so that said duct has only curved walls and without roughness. In this way, ventilation does not create any noise; moreover, this eliminates the possibility of accumulation of dust in said duct.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the sleeve is made of a washable film-coated foam. This makes it possible to clean the ventilation device, the duct covering after washing its qualities of acoustic insulation.

The intermediate support can be provided at least partially with a glazing bead; in particular, in the case where the device according to the invention is mounted on a glazing, the glazing bead will replace the rebate in the places where the intermediate support is not housed in such a rebate.

According to one embodiment of the invention, each housing is constituted by a horizontal profile provided with a closure wall at each of its ends and the insulating material of said housing consists of two identical parts in the form of troughs which are arranged symmetrically with respect to a median horizontal axis, the free faces of said trough-shaped parts facing each other, and which have on one of their sides an opening opposite the aforementioned ventilation hole. This embodiment also makes it possible to simplify both the manufacturing as the establishment of the ventilation device according to the invention.

  • la figure 1 est une vue en coupe verticale d'un dispositif de ventilation selon l'invention;
Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will emerge from the description which follows as well as from the appended drawings in which:
  • Figure 1 is a vertical sectional view of a ventilation device according to the invention;
  • FIG. 2 is a view in horizontal section on line 11-11 of FIG. 1, and
  • Figure 3 is an exploded perspective view of the ventilation device according to the invention.

As can be seen in particular in FIG. 1, the ventilation device according to the invention consists of two housings, an interior housing 1 and an exterior housing 2 which are identical and which are placed on either side of the housing. 'a wall or glazing 3; these two housings have a ventilation hole 4 respectively 5, which are arranged in a wall 6 respectively 7 substantially horizontal. The two housings 1 and 2 are arranged with respect to each other in an inverted manner at 180 0 around a horizontal axis 8 so that the internal ventilation hole 6 opens upwards and the ventilation hole exterior 7 opens down.

The two boxes 1 and 2 are each fixed to an intermediate support 9 which is placed in an opening in the wall or the glazing 3. In the case where the ventilation device according to the invention is placed on a glazing, it is advantageously possible cut an upper strip in the glazing so that the intermediate support 9 is fixed by the rebates of the window; a glazing bead (not shown) can advantageously be arranged on said intermediate support so as to consolidate its fixing to the glazing. This glazing bead can be placed on the face of the intermediate support 9 which is not engaged in the rebate. The intermediate support therefore replaces the wall or glazing on which the ventilation device according to the invention is installed; it is advantageous to produce this intermediate support in a material which has the same mechanical characteristics as the wall or the glazing considered so as not to reduce the mechanical resistance of the entire wall or glazing.

At least one of the ventilation holes 4 or 5 is provided with a filtering device such as a grid 11 which can be arranged outside or inside the housing 2. This filtering device avoids the introduction particles of all kinds when it is placed outside and when it is placed inside it captures microparticles and thus acts as a purifier.

According to the invention, a sleeve 12 is provided which is made of a material which has insulating properties from an acoustic point of view; this sleeve is shaped so as to produce, in combination with insulating materials located in each of the housings, a duct connecting the two ventilation holes 4 and 5; for this purpose, there are provided in the intermediate support 9 two circulation holes 13 and 14 which are both arranged in a horizontal plane at each end of said intermediate support 9. As can be seen in particular in FIG. 2, the sleeve 12 surrounds part 15 of the intermediate support 9 which is between the two circulation holes 13 and 14. Preferably, the sleeve 12 is shaped so that the duct 16 connecting the ventilation holes and the circulation holes has smooth surfaces without roughness or nooks so as to avoid any accumulation of dust in this duct.

The insulating material used to make the sleeve 12 is preferably a washable film-coated foam; this allows the sleeve to be cleaned, if necessary; in fact, the sound insulation qualities of such foam are not modified by this washing operation.

It can be seen that the housings are constituted by a section of profile 17 which is closed at each of its ends by a closing wall 18. The ventilation holes are of oblong shape and arranged in the center of profile 17.

On the left side of the figure, half of the machon has been shown disassembled. On either side of the intermediate piece 9, the "absorbent material of the duct consists of a piece 19 in the shape of a trough, the bottom 21 of which is disposed on the side of the bottom of the profile 17, the free face 22 of said trough-shaped part 19 being directed towards the intermediate support 9 with which it comes into contact when the entire device is mounted .. The part 19 comprises a cover 23 disposed opposite the ventilation hole 4. The invention requires a plate 24 which is placed at the bottom of the profile 17 between the latter and the part 19 in the form of a trough.

As for the housings, the part 19 in the shape of a trough disposed outside and which is in the profile of the right part of the figure is arranged with 180 ° inversion so that its opening 23 is arranged facing the ventilation hole 5 which is not visible in the figure.

Advantageously, the assembly of the ventilation device according to the invention is removable, the boxes 1 and 2 being removably fixed on the intermediate support 9. This fixing can be done by snap-fastening of the box on the intermediate support; one can also provide a fixing by hooking an edge of the housing on the intermediate support, the second opposite edge being blocked for example by means of a screw. Finally, provision can also be made for direct screwing of the housing to the intermediate piece and in this case provision is made for screw passage holes in the housing at each of its ends.

Advantageously, the housing is provided with seals which make it possible to obtain a good seal when it is fixed to the intermediate piece.

It can be seen that the invention makes it possible to considerably simplify the manufacturing cost of such ventilation devices since the device according to the invention only consists of two identical housings, two identical sleeve elements and an intermediate support. The whole being easily removable, it can be maintained, in particular by washing the sleeve. During disassembly, the intermediate piece remains in place on the wall or the glazing and this disassembly operation is very rapid since it suffices to disengage the housing and extract the sleeve element therefrom.

As can be seen in Figure 1, due to the alternating arrangement of the two interior 4 and exterior 5 ventilation holes, the latter is disposed in the bottom wall of the exterior housing 2. To avoid water runoff and penetration of water inside the housing through the external ventilation hole 5, the longitudinal edge 20 close to the ventilation hole projects beyond the plane of the housing as can be seen in particular in FIG. 1. Furthermore, because the internal ventilation hole 4 which is directed upwards, the fresh air which can penetrate through the device is not sent directly to the people in the room as may be the case with ventilation devices in which the ventilation holes are arranged vertically.

As can be seen in particular in FIG. 3, it is advantageous for the intermediate support 9 to project beyond the perimeter of the contact surface of the housing. This available space allows the installation of the intermediate support on rebates provided to initially receive glazing and to also optionally receive a glazing bead as indicated above; this glazing bead fixed on the uprights of the structure then ensures tight and solid contact of the intermediate support with the glazing or the wall. One can also design, according to an alternative embodiment, an intermediate support which has on one of its edges a glazing bead integrated in its mass, capable of receiving the edge of the glazing, as well as sealing means.

According to the invention, provision can also be made to install flow limiters known under the name of self-adjusting air inlets (flow rate of approximately 100 m 3 / h) inside the outer casing 2. This has the advantage to balance the flows in a room which is mechanically ventilated when necessary.

The device according to the invention can be used as a first assembly in the case of a new construction or as a replacement in place of an existing device; in this case it replaces the old devices while respecting the state of the support.

If it is desired to avoid shaping work on walls or window jambs, which are increasingly made with materials such as aluminum profiles or other hollow materials preventing any intervention in their mass, l he invention allows to place a ventilation device to replace an upper part of a glazing for example. In this case, set-up operations are reduced to a minimum.

The invention also makes it possible to produce a ventilation duct which has the internal condition of a smooth hose, which makes it possible to comply with the standards and prescriptions in terms of acoustic insulation.

The use of a foam with a film-coated surface makes it possible to obtain a device which can be washed and cleaned, which increases its effective life.
