Abstract

A device is disclosed for forming a connecting transition between two perpendicularly adjoining surfaces, of which at least one surface is provided with a rigid covering, in particular ceramic tile. The device allows for compensation of the varying stresses occurring in the surfaces bounding the joint combined with adequate sealing of the area of transition. The device is intended to find application in particular as a connecting transition between the edge of a bathtub and the adjoining wall and consists of a single-piece plastic angular profile. A sealing strip with a softened sealing lip is molded onto a leg of the angular profile which is formed of hardened material so as to extend the leg. The sealing lip has an adhesive profile arranged on its outer side in the lengthwise direction of the angular profile. By virtue of its elasticity, the molded sealing lip of the single-piece profile is biased against the surface to be sealed. Because the sealing lip is kept connected to such surface by an adhesive connection, it always acts against such surface in a sealing manner.

Gelöst wird die Erfindungsaufgabe an einer Vorrichtung der eingangs genannten Art, die dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß in Verlängerung eines Schenkels des Winkelprofiles aus Kunststoff als Dichtleiste eine weich eingestellte Dichtlippe angeformt ist, an deren Außenseite ein Klebeprofil in Längs­richtung des Winkelprofiles angeordnet ist. Ein solches Profil läßt sich beispielsweise im Bereich des Anschlußüberganges hinter den an der Wand angeklebten Keramikplatten ohne wesentliche Er­höhung der Klebeschicht unterbringen und wirkt mit der am anderen Schenkel angeformten Dichtlippe federnd aufgrund ihrer Eigen­elastizität gegen den Boden oder in einem besonderen Anwendungs­fall gegen den Rand einer Badewanne. Es zeigt sich in der Praxis, daß wärme- und schallisolierte Böden mit ihren Dämmstoffeinlagen sich absenken, insbesondere im Bereich einer Badewanne, so daß im Anschlußübergang an die angrenzende Wandfläche hohe Schwan­kungen der Fugenbreite auszugleichen sind, wie es beispiels­weise mit dauerelastischen Füllungen nicht möglich ist. Um die sichere Anlage der angeformten Dichtlippe an der entsprechenden angrenzenden Fläche, beispielsweise des Bodens oder eines Bade­wannenrandes, zu gewährleisten, ist an der Außenseite der Dicht­lippe ein Klebeprofil, vorzugsweise in elastischer Ausbildung, angeordnet. Auf diese Weise ist die Dichtlippe immer abdichtend gegen die entsprechende Fläche gepreßt. Vorrichtung zur Ausbildung eines Anschlußüberganges zwischen zwei rechtwinklig aneinander angrenzenden Flächen, bei denen mindestens eine Fläche mit starren Belägen versehen ist, insbesondere mit Keramikplatten, mit einem Winkelprofil und einer daran angeordneten nach außen wirkenden, federnd elastischen Dichtleiste, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in Verlängerung eines Schenkels (12) des Winkelprofiles (1) aus Kunststoff als Dichtleiste eine weich eingestellte Dichtlippe (13) angeformt ist, an deren Außenseite ein Klebeprofil (17) in Längsrichtung des Winkelprofiles (1) angeordnet ist.1.
