Hierbei ist durch die Anordnung des Beleuchtungskörpersockels so, daß der Beleuchtungskörper selbst neben dem Sockel und dieser seinerseits unmittelbar über der Abschirmung der Lichtquelle angeordnet sind, einerseits die Mindesthöhe so verkürzt, daß sie praktisch nicht mehr die Einbaumöglichkeiten bestimmt; andererseits ist hierdurch die Befestigung des Sockels des Beleuchtungskörpers nach der Befestigung des Kastenprofiles an diesem möglich, wobei nach der Entfernung der Abschirmung die Beleuchtungskörper aus-und eingewechselt werden können. Die Erfindung schafft ausgehend von der Erkenntis, daß im Gegensatz zu derartigen Metallprofilen, die z.B. aus Acrylkunststoff bestehende Abdeckungen aufgrund ihrer besonderen Werkstoffeigenschaften bessere Voraussetzungen liefert, eine Vorhangbeleuchtung, bei der das Öffnen und Schließen des aus dem Kastenprofil und der Abdeckung gebildeten Körpers keine Schwierigkeiten verursacht. Das geschieht mit den Merkmalen des Anspruches 11. Da hierbei sämtliche Profilabschnitte des Kastenprofils eine Baueinheit bilden und nur ein Element eines ein Scharnier bildenden Metallbandes aus Metall zu bestehen braucht, kommt es für die Passung lediglich auf das aus dem Abdeckungswerkstoff bestehende Element des Gelenkbandes an. Diese läßt sich auf einfache Weise u.a. durch die Elastizität des Kunststoffwerkstoffes gewährleisten.
