Clavier constitué d'un chassis muni entre autres d'une touche allongée, par exemple une barre d'espacement, de moyens de coulissage de cette touche, et d'un palonnier desti­né à éviter que la touche ne s'enfonce de travers, palonnier oscillant autour d'un axe lié au chassis et perpendiculaire à la direction dudit coulissage, et comportant au moins deux broches, chacune coulissant dans une fente ménagée dans la touche perpendiculairement à la direction dudit coulissage, caractérisé en ce que, chaque fente (3) étant ouverte à une extrémité pour permettre l'entrée de la broche (9), la touche (4) est munie d'un plan incliné (2) conduisant vers l'ouvertu­re de la fente, dans la direction allant du chassis vers la touche, et les moyens de liaison (1, 12) entre l'axe du palon­nier (8) et le chassis (13) comportent une partie élastique pour permettre un déplacement dudit axe dans la direction qui permet aux broches (9) du palonnier de suivre le plan incliné et d'entrer dans la fente.1.
