If there are several spray jets, the length will be correspondingly shorter for the same output, and the scattering angle can be varied according to the character of the burner head and the burner. In addition, the degree of exposure to the atomizing air then has hardly any influence on the scattering angle of the individual spray jet.
- the power control of the air pressure nozzle for small throughputs takes place via the oil pressure, while the air pressure, adjustable from 0.5 to 1 bar, remains almost constant.

- This nozzle has a frustoconical cavity (chamber) which can be adjusted with a bolt, wherein compressed air supply holes running parallel to the axis of the bolt open out in the frustoconical cavity.
- This known nozzle has the disadvantage that it does not guarantee a good mixture of oil and air, especially at low outputs.

This homogeneous oil-air mixture is sprayed through one or more outlet bores 8. As already mentioned, this spraying can be set as desired.

- a shut-off needle 9 which cooperates at the free end with the narrowing oil supply part 3, which forms a seat for the shut-off needle 9.
- a coil spring 10 keeps the opening 3 closed. By confirming the electromagnet 11, the opening 3 and thus the oil supply can be opened abruptly.
