Abstract

Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe nach dem im kennzeich­nenden Teil des Anspruchs 1 angegebenen Merkmalen dadurch gelöst, daß die Textilien oder Bekleidungsstücke an den Stellen, die ein verschlissenes oder besonders verschlissenes Aussehen erhalten sollen, mit einem Sandstrahlgebläse o. dgl. bestrahlt werden. Das Sandstrahlgebläse oder Gebläse mit einem anderen abtragenden Material lassen sich in einfacher Weise betätigen, und mit diesem können die Stellen, die beim Tragen einem besonderen Verschleiß ausgesetzt sind, behandelt werden. Claims (5)

1. A process for producing a worn appearance on textiles and articles of clothing, preferably denim clothing such as denim trousers, wherein the textiles or articles of clothing are blasted with a sand blasting unit or the like, characterised in that the textiles or articles of clothing are blasted with the sand blasting unit or the like at the locations which are to be of a worn or particularly worn appearance.
2. A process according to claim 1 characterised in that, after the blasting operation, the textiles or articles of clothing are subjected to an additional uniform wear-producing washing operation or a corresponding mechanical or chemical treatment.
3. A process according to claim 2 characterised in that the textiles or articles of clothing are washed in a washing drum together with objects for producing mechanical wear such as pummice stones.
4. A process according to claim 2 or claim 3 characterised in that chemicals, for example chlorine, which cause bleaching of the textiles or articles of clothing are added to the washing water.
5. A process according to claim 2 characterised in that the textiles or articles of clothing are worn by scouring treatment with pummice stones saturated with chlorine or the like, or other porous material.
