Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a flexible bag produced by flat assembly of a film system, intended to constitute by deployment a freestanding container, and its production process.
  • the invention finds particular application for the production of closed containers, intended in particular to contain liquid products, and which are stable in a standing position, whatever their size, whether empty or filled, open or closed, and that they are isolated or connected to other containers of the same or different shape.
  • Packaging made from flexible sheet material offers many advantages. They are light, compact before and after use, robust and inexpensive.
  • the substantially straight and parallel edges of the inner fold and / or of the sheet portions intended to constitute the side wall we thus limit our to very simple shapes, the lateral assemblies generally being produced along parallel straight lines and substantially perpendicular to the straight edges of the films intended to form the support base, and running from one edge to the other of the films. to assemble.
  • the closed container is closed by bringing together and assembling the free edges, opposite the base part, of the film system, and forming the container filling opening.
  • this embodiment has a number of drawbacks, which affect the appearance, and above all the mechanical strength of the containers, and considerably complicate the industrial filling and closing processes of the latter.
  • the containers obtained by the methods of the prior art after being filled and closed, have folds in the lateral assemblies. These folds detract from the aesthetics of the container and constitute zones of weakness at the level of which the container tends to bend, or even burst if it is too stressed.
  • the bags used to produce such containers are obtained from at least one reel of flexible film, in the form of strips, said pockets being connected to each other two by two successively.
  • the aim of the present invention is to solve the new technical problem consisting in the supply of a new flexible bag, produced by flat assembly of a film system, making it possible to obtain containers, intended in particular for containing liquid products, and which are stable in a standing position, whatever their size, whether open or closed, and which, in the latter case, can be easily filled and closed, by bringing together and assembling the lips of the filling orifice, either in isolated form or by being connected to other containers of the same or different shape, without lateral folds.
  • the invention satisfies for the first time in a satisfactory manner this new technical problem, by proposing a pocket intended to constitute by deployment a flexible container, of the type obtained by flat assembly of a film system consisting of at least one sheet and comprising at least one internal V-shaped fold flattened with substantially parallel and straight edges, intended to constitute, after deployment, the bottom of the container, and interposed between two portions of sheet with substantially parallel and straight edges, preferably superimposed and coincident with said edges of the inner fold, and intended for the realization of the side wall of said container, said assembly being carried out along lateral and bottom lines characterized in that said pocket is obtained by further assembling the films along a base line , not confused with said parallel and straight edges of the films, defining the outline of the container support base, said side and bottom lines and said base line having been drawn geometrically by developing on the films to be assembled the lateral surface of the container which has previously been determined in its shape and characteristics, so that the latter rests after filling and closing in a stable manner on its support base while presenting no fold point
  • the shape and the volume of the container that one seeks to obtain are determined beforehand, the volume thus determined is represented flat and develops its lateral surface on the plane of the films to be assembled, using the usual techniques of descriptive geometry for this.
  • the length separating the meeting point from the lateral edge and the opening rim, and the meeting point from the lateral edge and the base is the same, after filling, as the pocket is either open or closed. It is precisely this characteristic which makes it possible to solve the problems of creases or breaks along the lateral edges.
  • the portions of films located at the level between the bottom line and the base line are assembled, for example by gluing, after having been possibly reinforced in particular by means of at least a pre-cut portion of film disposed between said portions of films to be joined.
  • the film portions situated between the baseline and the parallel and parallel rectilinear edges are not assembled and can be cut, preferably before filling, or not cut.
  • the present invention also relates to a method for obtaining a pocket, intended to constitute by deployment a flexible container capable of being filled and closed, of the type comprising the flat assembly of a film system consisting of at least one sheet and comprising an internal V-shaped fold overwritten with substantially parallel and rectilinear edges, intended to constitute, after deployment, the bottom of said container, and interposed between two portions of sheet with substantially parallel and rectilinear edges, preferably superimposed and merged with said edges of the inner fold, and intended for the production of the side wall of said container, said assembly being carried out along lateral and bottom contours, characterized in that it further comprises the assembly of films along a base line, not confused with said parallel and straight edges of the films, defining the outline of the based on the container support, said lateral and bottom contours and of said baseline having been traced geometrically by developing on the plane of films to be assembled the lateral surface of the container which has previously been determined in its shape, so that it rests after filling and closing stably on its
  • the bags according to the invention are produced from a system of superimposed films, comprising at least one inner fold 1 in the form of a V-shaped flattened with edges 2, 3, substantially parallel and rectilinear, intended to constitute after deployment the bottom of the container, and interposed between two portions of sheets 4, 5, with edges 6, 7, substantially parallel and rectilinear, preferably coincident with the edges 2, 3, of the inner fold.
  • This film system can be formed, as in the prior art, by means of a single sheet folded three times and having a W-shaped cross section in the simplest case, or by means of two flat sheets. surrounding a folded sheet, as in the example shown.
  • the pockets are produced continuously, by scrolling the films to be assembled.
  • These films can for example come from reels on which they are wound.
  • edges of the volume which join the ends of the filling-closing line 15, to those of the corresponding diagonal of the rectangle of the base surface are straight lines parallel and perpendicular to the base plane and to the closing line.
  • the container 8 has a plane of symmetry, and the construction only calls for the representation of the half-volume of the container.
  • the invention also makes it possible to produce "pseudo-symmetrical" containers, that is to say resulting from the assembly of two half-volumes of different shapes. It will then suffice to draw on each face of the film system corresponding assembly lines.
  • a plane passing through Y and X intersects the lateral edges 11 and 12 at E and F.
  • the bottom surface is represented by the adjusted surface generated by the line MN moving parallel to it and constantly resting on the edges of the two folded sections.
  • the layout of the bottom assembly lines is carried out according to the usual methods of descriptive geometry for the flat representation of volume intersections.
  • the container is cut by several horizontal cutting planes.
  • the point Z located on VM in FIG. 4 is at a distance ZY from M on the perpendicular from M to AB which represents the edge VM seen from above in FIG. 5.
  • point E2 is also located on line Z2 A.
  • the desired profile being the line starting from T1 which tangents all the arcs of a circle.
  • the baseline is drawn using a similar method.
  • the film portions located above the filling-closing line 15 can be cut to form a handle 20.
  • the film portions located between the base line 23 and the lower edge 2, 3, 6, 7 of the film system, which are not assembled, can be removed by cutting. However, if you want to avoid falling materials, you can not eliminate them, and these unassembled portions will crash when the full container rests on its base.
  • the bags according to the invention can be made of any flexible material, for example plastic sheets or waterproof fabrics.
  • the assembly is carried out by sealing along the assembly lines, and by sealing or gluing in the other portions to be assembled, the sealing being carried out by means of thermal jaws for example, or by any other means (stitching) depending on the nature of the material.
  • the assembly means will be specifically designed as a function of the layout and the assembly, closure, and cutting lines that have been determined beforehand.
  • the bags formed as described above arrive at the filling station where they are filled by means of a nozzle 27, then closed along the closing line 15, for example by means of 'a thermal jaw not shown.
  • the filled containers can be closed without having been previously separated into unit containers.
  • the opening of the pockets always falls precisely in front of the filling nozzle 27, without any offset occurring during the process.
  • the filling operation is therefore conditioned by the same marking as all the previous operations, in particular for the formation of pockets.
  • the bags are previously separated into individual units before being filled, and it is necessary, for each bag, to locate the opening of filling and precisely positioning the nozzle relative to this opening. This positioning is all the more difficult to achieve when the opening of the pocket is small.
  • the invention solves, for the first time, this technical problem.
  • the present invention makes it possible to obtain containers of any shape, size and capacity.
  • the present invention allows the production of multiple bags which can be filled and closed without being detached in unitary containers, for example for producing groups of sachets filled with complementary products such as formulations to be mixed immediately before use, or for presentation of different products, but belonging to the same range.
  • the method according to the present invention is compatible with assembly machines for traditional bags.
  • the plots can also be produced by computer-assisted drawing.
  • the present invention makes it possible to produce containers provided with several bases but with a single filling opening. It is thus possible to produce containers, for example figures or animals.
