Description

Une telle caisse de voitures ferroviaires est connue du document EP-A-0148123.The present invention relates to a body of railway cars comprising, at the level of the floor two longitudinal profiles, at the level of the roof two other longitudinal profiles, floor walls, roof and faces, each made up of panels. Such a body of railway cars is known from document EP-A-0148123.

In the bodies of current railway cars, these panels are produced either from profiles of small section covered with sheet metal, or from extruded profiles which do not require the addition of sheet metal.

The intensive use of profiles and sheets generates significant weight and deformation, and these boxes then have a poor weight-rigidity ratio. These techniques, with or without sheet metal, still require the use of packing.

The object of the present invention is to lighten the boxes while retaining good rigidity, and to simplify the interior linings.

This object is achieved by replacing the panels currently used by panels with a honeycomb structure which, in addition to the advantages already mentioned, provide better thermal and sound insulation, this sound insulation being particularly advantageous at the level of the floor and the faces. Document GB-A-2 159 105 mentions the possibility of using honeycomb panels, but this document specifies neither the exact structure of the panels nor their connection with the chassis. This chassis does not have any longerons.

The box of the present invention is characterized in that these panels are formed from at least one honeycomb type network and from various framing profiles surrounding the network (s), certain framing profiles being fixed directly to the longitudinal profiles, the assembly thus made up of profiles and panels, forming a working structure.

In order to ensure greater resistance of the panels, each corner of a panel can receive at the level of an assembly of two framing profiles, an assembly bracket.

At the level of the pavilion, the panels made up of a honeycomb type network can ensure the direct junction between the two longitudinal profiles but, as the pavilion must ensure the installation of electrical ducts, ventilation ducts and ramps lighting, honeycomb type panels only cover other longitudinal or transverse profiles which provide the mechanical connection between the two longitudinal sections forming the structure.

It is described below, by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings, a car body according to the invention.

Figure 9 is a perspective view of a door frame.

Figure 9A shows the detail of Figure 9 and the corresponding part of the roof.

La figure 1 représente une caisse complète en coupe comportant au niveau du plancher un panneau 100 , au niveau des faces des panneaux 200 et des portes 270, et au niveau du pavillon des panneaux 300.FIG. 1 represents a complete box in section comprising at the floor a panel 100, at the faces of the panels 200 and the doors 270, and at the level of the pavilion of the panels 300.

The floor consists of two longitudinal beams, a single longitudinal beam 110 being shown, of a network 130 of honeycomb type, framed on its sides by two profiles 140 and at the end by two transverse beams 120 (see fig. 2 ). Beyond the two transverse profiles 120, therefore beyond the central part of the floor represented by the network 130, the ends of the body are entirely metallic because they are the ones which support shock knots and bogies.

The profiles 140 are fixed to the longitudinal members 110 by means of rivets, welds or any suitable fixing device. For security, it is also possible to provide a locking device.

Le plancher comporte, en outre, un revêtement complet 131.Figures 3 and 4 show an exemplary embodiment of a locking device. Each spar 110 comprises, distributed over its length, several latches 111 secured to an axis 112 by means of pins 113. This axis is free to rotate and has a square which allows its rotation, therefore the rotation of a latch 111 which, by turning a quarter of a turn, engages in the framing profile 140. The complete immobilization of the lock is ensured by a pin 115. The floor also comprises a complete covering 131.

Ce panneau 144 est recouvert par un revêtement de sol 145.FIG. 5 shows an exemplary embodiment of the floor in which each panel consists of a single network 130 of the honeycomb type. This network may require in some cases additional insulation produced by the installation of several insulating strips 142 between battens 141 themselves covered by an elastomeric strip 143. The rigidity of the floor is obtained by the addition of a plywood panel 144 This panel 144 is covered by a floor covering 145.

Deux réseaux sont assemblés par un élément de liaison 150, tel qu'un tissu de verre par exemple.FIG. 6 shows another embodiment of the floor in which each panel is made up of three honeycomb type networks, a "Nomex®" network 130A located between two aluminum networks 130. The "Nomex®" network can be made of another material further improving the acoustic and thermal quality of the floor. Two networks are assembled by a connecting element 150, such as a glass cloth for example.

This exemplary embodiment does not require additional insulation, a single floor covering 145 being necessary. All these alternative embodiments of the floor make it possible to support the load of the travelers as well as the equipment under chassis.

Again, refer to Figure 1A to describe a face.

The panels consist of a honeycomb type network 230 and four framing profiles 240, two horizontal profiles fixed one on a spar 110 and the other on the upper spar described below, and two lateral profiles either playing directly the role of upright for the doors, or fixed on additional uprights 210 as shown in FIG. 9 and 9A.

Some panels comprise at least one bay window 250 consisting of a frame 260 produced from one or more sections inserted in the network 230, a seal 265 and a window 255 held by the seal. Of course this window can be maintained by another suitable device.

A door 270 is constituted, in a conventional manner, of metal panels 280 comprising a window 285 surrounded by a seal 290, but of course this door could be manufactured using networks of the honeycomb type.

La figure 1B montre, de manière plus détaillée, le pavillon et le haut d'une face qui vient d'être décrit.FIG. 1B shows, in more detail, the flag and the top of a face which has just been described.

The roof comprises two main beams 310, several transverse beams 320 distributed along the body, all of these sections forming a structure. For example, this pavilion also includes longitudinal profiles 311, 312, 313, 315, 316 delimiting possible passages for cables, ventilation system and various equipment. The roof panels 300 each consist of a honeycomb type network 330 framed by profiles 340. By way of example, the transverse profiles 321, 322, 323, 324, 325 also delimit passages for cables or equipment. various, and a transverse section 326 acts as a support for the ends of two adjacent panels 300, this section also forming a gutter.

A of FIG. 7, that is to say a corner of a panel on one side. The junction between two framing profiles 240 is effectively ensured by an assembly bracket 245 provided with a rib 246. This mounting with bracket can not only be used for mounting the panels of the faces, but also at each perpendicular junction of two profiles d 'framing, especially in the floor panel.

Dans ce cas, le profilé d'encadrement 240 du panneau 200 adjacent à la porte vient se fixer sur ce montant 210.FIG. 9 and its detail A, seen in FIG. 9A, show an example of reinforcing the door opening by adding a frame 210. At the level of the pavilion, the two uprights 210 are assembled on an upper crosspiece 215 which runs throughout the along the door. In this case, the framing profile 240 of the panel 200 adjacent to the door is fixed on this upright 210.
