On connaît une barrière élastique du type mentionné ci-dessus, constitué d'un filet de sangles, fixé par ses deux extrémités à deux montants solidement ancrés de part et d'autre de la voie de circulation. De telles barrières sont utilisées, par exemple, pour interdire provisoirement l'accès d'un tronçon prédéterminé d'une route à trafic intense (autoroute urbaine, par exemple), en vue de procéder à des travaux d'entretien, ou encore pour transformer, certains jours, une route ou allée en voie piétonne. La barrière est installée à demeure sur le bord de la voie de circulation et, lorsqu'elle n'est pas déployée, le filet est rangé dans un boîtier implanté sur une dalle de béton. Ce boîtier renferme aussi l'un des montants de fixation du filet. Il a la forme générale d'un parallélépipède rectangle comportant une face assez étroite, munie d'une fenêtre allongée, verticale, pour le passage du filet. Jusqu'à présent, il était nécessaire de disposer le boîtier de façon que ladite face étroite soit en regard de la voie de circulation, c'est-à-dire de façon que les grandes faces du boîtier soient perpendiculaires à celle-ci. Dans cet esprit, l'invention concerne essentiellement une barrière élastique de fermeture d'une voie de circulation comportant:
- - un filet susceptible d'être déployé en travers de ladite voie de circulation,
- - un boîtier de rangement dudit filet destiné à être installé près d'un bord de ladite voie de circulation, incluant ou abritant un premier montant de fixation auquel ledit filet est fixé par une extrémité; et
- - un second montant destiné à être installé près de l'autre bord de ladite voie de circulation, ce second montant comportant des moyens d'accrochage de l'autre extrémité dudit filet, caractérisée en ce que ledit boîtier est allongé suivant une direction et comporte ou surmonte une embase allongée correspondante sur laquelle sont fixés ledit premier montant et un troisième montant pour la reprise des efforts exercés sur le filet et en ce que lesdits premier et troisième montants sont respectivement fixés près des extrémités les plus éloignées de ladite embase de façon que, si cette dernière est positionnée avec sa partie allongée sensiblement parallèle à ladite voie de circulation, ledit filet puisse être tendu entre lesdits premier et second montants en s'enroulant partiellement le long dudit troisième montant.

L'autre bord vertical de ladite fenêtre est défini par un repli 32 d'une porte 34 occupant au moins une partie d'une grande face du boîtier 14, perpendiculaire à la petite face 26. Cette porte est articulée par des charnières 36 fixées le long du premier montant 15. Un volet 38 permettant d'interdire l'accès à l'intérieur du boîtier par la fenêtre 24 lorsque le filet 13 est en position de rangement, est monté articulé par des charnières 40 le long du montant 30. La fixation de ce dernier à l'embase 18 est renforcée par des goussets 19 semblables à ceux du montant 15. Le second montant 16 est muni latéralement de pièces d'ancrage 42 auxquelles est fixé l'autre extrémité du filet 13, par l'intermédiaire de mousquetons 43. Ces derniers sont choisis avec une résistance mécanique plus faible que les autres éléments de la barrière (sangles et montants) pour céder lorsqu'un véhicule rencontre le filet tendu. L'embase 18 est montée sur une dalle de béton 46 coulée dans le sol au bord de la voie de circulation 12. Elle comporte pour cela quatre trous 48,au voisinage du premier montant 15, correspondant à quatre trous oblongs 50, du type à boutonnière, définis à la paroi supérieure 51 d'un caisson métallique 52,noyé dans la dalle de béton 46 de façon que la paroi supérieure 51 affleure au niveau de ladite dalle. La face interne de la paroi supérieure 51 porte des pièces de blocage 56, ici à profil en U, sondées, entourant les zones rétrécies des trous oblongs 50 à boutonnière. Le montage du boîtier 14 est ainsi simplifié par le fait que les têtes de boulons engagées dans les trous oblongs 50 en les faisant passer dans les parties élargies de ceux- ci, peuvent être bloquées en rotation par les pièces de blocage 56.
