Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for guiding rod-shaped or wire-shaped workpieces in a continuous centrifugal jet machine, as characterized in the preamble of
In the known continuous centrifugal machines for rod-shaped profile material, wire or tubes, guides designed as bushings are arranged on the inlet and outlet sides of the blasting chamber for the workpieces to be blasted. For an exact guidance of the workpieces, the guiding devices have to be adapted to the cross-sectional profile or the enveloping circle diameter by changing them. This results in the following disadvantages: A set of guide bushings is required and must be provided for a certain envelope diameter range, the dimension range for good guidance and subsequent sealing not being too large, so that many guide bushes are required for a large total area. The Replacement must be done manually when changing to a different cross-sectional dimension, whereby the blasting systems must be shut down for this. The adjustment is not so perfectly possible due to the aforementioned points and causes considerable additional costs, although it cannot be included in an automatic control.
The object of the present invention is to provide a device of the type mentioned, which, while avoiding the disadvantages mentioned above, ensures an adaptation of the guides for workpieces with different cross-sectional dimensions without having to replace them, this adaptation also being able to be incorporated into an automatic control of the centrifugal jet machine and a changeover should also be possible without machine downtime.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by the characterizing features of
Particularly advantageous embodiments of the invention are characterized in the dependent claims.
The features according to the invention result in a good possibility of adapting the guide to the workpiece without the need to replace parts.
The invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawings using exemplary embodiments and described below.
