Dieser wird beim Abschwenken der schwenkbaren Baugruppe in die der Figur 1 zugrunde­liegende aktivierte Stellung immer schärfer, was einen besonders zuverlässigen Transport ergibt.Der Abstand der Umlenkwalze 21 von der benachbarten äußeren Walze 8 der Stauchfalzeinrichtung 3 ist dabei so gewählt, daß die Län­ge des durch die Umlenkwalze 21 und die benachbarte äus­sere Walze 8 begrenzten Bandführungsabschnitts zumindest der Tiefe des Stauchschachts 5 als zumindest dem maxi­mal verarbeitbaren Format, entspricht.
