Definitions
- the invention relates to a provided on an RF-shielding housing, the supply and / or derivation of an RF signal serving feed-through connection, which has a grounding sleeve and an arranged therein, the signal feed-through conductor with plug pin, which is isolated in the Sleeve is guided.
- Combination modules with a circuit arrangement arranged within the housing and operating in the high-frequency range require at least one connection which is guided through the housing wall and with which HF signals can be supplied and / or derived.
- At least one of these RF connections is generally an antenna connection socket, in particular in the case of HF tuners.
- the outer mass-carrying part of such an HF connection socket is connected to the housing wall by means of cabinet clips or the like and is also soldered to it.
- connection sockets There are a variety of standards for such connections, e.g. B. IEC, Phono-Jack or F-Type.
- connection sockets this means that during the manufacture of the combination components it must be determined at an early stage which standard the connection parts of the combination component match should.
- Different types of tuners with different connection standards have to be produced for the different markets or devices, since the connection sockets or connection parts are not interchangeable and have to fit to one another.
- the feed-through connection is divided into a connection base, which receives the conductor and is attached to the housing, and a combination socket which is provided with a plug pin and a grounding sleeve which is electrically insulated from it, in accordance with a desired connection standard, and which the connection base is electrically contacted.
- connection base which is fastened to the housing of the combination module and which is electrically connected to a circuit arrangement arranged in the combination module.
- the connection base is designed in such a way that when the combination socket is placed on it, electrical contact can be made with the conductor connector pin, which together with the grounding sleeve can have any standard.
- the connection base is fastened to the housing during manufacture of the combination module and, if necessary, also soldered to it. In this state, the production of the combination module is then initially ended, and this can e.g. B. be taken to a warehouse. Only later, e.g. B. when installing such a combination block in a device, it must be determined which connection standard the connection of the combination block should carry. Only at this point is the combination socket, which has the required standard, placed on the connection base.
- connection blocks of only one type can be produced, which are provided with the connection base.
- connection standard the combination module should be designed for. Warehousing is simplified because only one type of combination module has to be kept ready. For already manufactured combination modules, a flexible adaptation to the desired connection standard is possible, which also applies to changing connection standards.
- connection base which is made of plastic, is provided with recesses and is fastened to the housing by means of tabs which are bent out of the housing and engage in the recesses. Since the connection base remains on the combination module regardless of the desired connection standard, it can be permanently attached to the housing by means of tabs and, if necessary, also soldered to it.
- the combination socket overlaps the connection base and is provided with cupboard brackets which engage in recesses in the housing.
- a further embodiment of the invention provides that a ring is clamped onto the combination socket, the edge of which is provided on the housing side with teeth which engage in the associated counterparts of the housing.
- the teeth of the toothed ring, together with the counterparts, prevent undesired twisting of the bush. A plug cannot twist the socket when it is attached or removed.
- connection base 1 in plan view, on which a socket shown in Figs. 5 to 8 can be placed later in the already assembled state.
- the connection base 1 has an approximately round plate 1 a in which two opposing, approximately rectangular cutouts 2 and 3 are embedded. These recesses 2 and 3 serve to later accommodate the tabs shown in FIG. 4.
- the connection base 1 is provided in the middle with an electrical conductor 4, which is connected as a lead-through connection to an electrical connector 5 running out on the back 5 shown plug pin which engages in the cavity 6.
- the connector 5 is used for electrical contact with the arranged in the combination block Circuit arrangement.
- the connection base 1 Apart from the conductor 4 and the connector 5, the connection base 1 consists of an insulating plastic.
- connection base 1 of Fig. 1 is shown in side view. You can see how the electrical conductor 4 is bent to the connector 5.
- a section of the wall 10 of the housing of a combination block is shown, which is suitable for receiving a connection base 1 shown in Fig. 1.
- the wall 10 has an opening 11, the opening width of which is larger than the cross section of the conductor 4.
- Further cutouts 12 are provided opposite each other on both sides of the opening 11.
- Tabs 13 are bent out of these recesses 12 and protrude from the wall 10 away from the outside before installation of a connection base. These tabs 13 serve to fix the connection base 1.
- Three further cutouts 14 are arranged in a circle around the cutout 11, specifically at an angle of 1200 to one another. These cutouts 14 have slot-shaped extensions 15, into which cupboard brackets (not shown in the figure) of a combination socket 20 (FIG. 5) can engage.
- tabs 16 protruding from the housing are cut at an even greater distance from the opening 11 and are used for positioning the combination bushing 20.
- Fig. 4 the housing wall 10 shown in Fig. 3 of the combination block is shown in section along the line IV-IV.
- the connection base 1 according to FIGS. 1 and 2 is inserted into this housing wall 10.
- the head 4 is passed through the opening 11 of the housing 10.
- the tabs 13 of the housing 10 run along the cutouts 2 and 3 of the connection base and then overlap the plate 1 a, so that the connection base 1 is firmly positioned on the wall 10.
- a combination socket 20 shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 can then be placed on the connection base positioned in this way.
- the combination socket is shown in side view; it consists essentially of a metallic tubular sleeve 21, one edge of which is provided with three Schränklaschen 22 21a, each spread along the edge 21a by 120 0th In the area of the edge 21a, an insulating plate 21b is inserted into the sleeve 21, which leads a connector pin 23 in the center.
- This plug pin 23 and the sleeve 21 form part of a two-part bushing connection. The other part forms the connection base 1.
- connection base 1 is mounted on the wall 10 and the combination socket 20 is placed on the connection base 1 overlapping the wall 10, then the sleeve 21 contacts the wall 10, and the part of the plug pin 23 which extends between the cabinet brackets 22 also engages in a contact with the hollow conductor 4.
- the combination socket 20 shown in side view in FIG. 5 is shown in a top view of the side provided with the cabinet clips 22 and the plug pin 23.
- the distribution of Schränklaschen 22 with their mutual offset of 120 0 is recognizable.
- the Plug pin 23 extends into the free interior of the sleeve 21 and serves there as a contact pin for a plug, not shown, for. B. an antenna connector.
- the shape of this contact pin 23 and the shape of the sleeve 21 are determined by the desired connection standard. A plug to be connected from the outside is thus plugged onto the opposite side of the connecting part 21.
- FIG. 7 shows the combination socket 20 shown individually in FIGS. 5 and 6 in the state in which it is placed on the wall 10.
- the combination socket 20 is placed between the tabs 16 of the housing wall 10.
- the cabinet brackets 22 of the combination bushing 20 are inserted through the cutouts 14 and screwed into the slot-shaped extensions 15, so that the cabinet brackets jam in the slots 15.
- the HF connection is ready for operation. Soldering improves ground contact.
- the plug pin 23 is inserted into the cavity 6 of the conductor 4.
- connection base 1 connection base 1 and combination socket 20; in addition, however, the combination socket 20 is provided with an attached ring 30, the edge of which has teeth 31 on the housing side. These teeth 31 engage associated counterparts 32 on the wall 10. In this way, an unintentional twisting of the combination bush 20 is prevented.
- the ring 30 is preferably soldered to the sleeve 21.
- FIG. 9 shows in an exploded view the section through a connection base 101, a housing wall 102 and a combination socket 103, which are shown in FIG. 3 in the state already assembled later.
- the connection base 101 has an approximately cuboid body 104 in which two opposite, approximately rectangular recesses 105 and 106 are embedded. These recesses 105 and 106 serve to later accommodate two cabinet brackets 107 and 108 of the housing wall 102, which is also shown in FIG. 1.
- the connection base 101 is provided in its center with an electrically conductive socket 110, which is connected through to a through connection one side of the connection base terminating connector 111.
- the socket 110 is hollow and is used to make contact with a plug pin 112 of the combination socket 103 also shown in FIG. 1.
- the electrical connector 111 of the connection base 101 is used for electrical contact with a in the combination module arranged circuit arrangement, not shown in the figure.
- the connection base 101 Apart from the sleeve 110 and the connection piece 111, the connection base 101 consists
- the cabinet brackets 7 and 8 are bent out of the housing wall 102 shown in section in FIG. 1, so that recesses 113 and 114 are formed in them, and project perpendicularly from the housing wall to the interior of the housing.
- the recess 113 and the cabinet flaps 107 on the one hand and the recess 114 and the cabinet flaps 108 on the other hand are arranged opposite one another on both sides of an opening 115.

Description
The invention relates to a provided on an RF-shielding housing, the supply and / or derivation of an RF signal serving feed-through connection, which has a grounding sleeve and an arranged therein, the signal feed-through conductor with plug pin, which is isolated in the Sleeve is guided.
Combination modules with a circuit arrangement arranged within the housing and operating in the high-frequency range require at least one connection which is guided through the housing wall and with which HF signals can be supplied and / or derived. At least one of these RF connections is generally an antenna connection socket, in particular in the case of HF tuners. The outer mass-carrying part of such an HF connection socket is connected to the housing wall by means of cabinet clips or the like and is also soldered to it.
There are a variety of standards for such connections, e.g. B. IEC, Phono-Jack or F-Type. In the case of known connection sockets, this means that during the manufacture of the combination components it must be determined at an early stage which standard the connection parts of the combination component match should. Different types of tuners with different connection standards have to be produced for the different markets or devices, since the connection sockets or connection parts are not interchangeable and have to fit to one another.
It is an object of the invention to provide a lead-through connection combination modules which can be flexibly adapted to the desired connection standard.
The object is achieved in that the feed-through connection is divided into a connection base, which receives the conductor and is attached to the housing, and a combination socket which is provided with a plug pin and a grounding sleeve which is electrically insulated from it, in accordance with a desired connection standard, and which the connection base is electrically contacted.
The feedthrough connection thus consists of two parts which can be handled independently of one another, namely a connection base which is fastened to the housing of the combination module and which is electrically connected to a circuit arrangement arranged in the combination module. The connection base is designed in such a way that when the combination socket is placed on it, electrical contact can be made with the conductor connector pin, which together with the grounding sleeve can have any standard. The connection base is fastened to the housing during manufacture of the combination module and, if necessary, also soldered to it.
In this way, combination blocks of only one type can be produced, which are provided with the connection base. At this point in production, it is not yet necessary to specify which connection standard the combination module should be designed for. Warehousing is simplified because only one type of combination module has to be kept ready. For already manufactured combination modules, a flexible adaptation to the desired connection standard is possible, which also applies to changing connection standards.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the connection base, which is made of plastic, is provided with recesses and is fastened to the housing by means of tabs which are bent out of the housing and engage in the recesses. Since the connection base remains on the combination module regardless of the desired connection standard, it can be permanently attached to the housing by means of tabs and, if necessary, also soldered to it.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the combination socket overlaps the connection base and is provided with cupboard brackets which engage in recesses in the housing.
In order to secure the combination socket which is subsequently attached, a further embodiment of the invention provides that a ring is clamped onto the combination socket, the edge of which is provided on the housing side with teeth which engage in the associated counterparts of the housing. The teeth of the toothed ring, together with the counterparts, prevent undesired twisting of the bush. A plug cannot twist the socket when it is attached or removed.

In Fig. 3 a section of the
In Fig. 4 the
In Fig. 5, the combination socket is shown in side view; it consists essentially of a metallic
In FIG. 6, the
In Fig. 8 the
The cabinet brackets 7 and 8 are bent out of the
In FIG. 10, the
The
The cabinet flaps 120 of the
In this way, two electrical connections are made by means of the
The connection base attached from the outside or from the inside in the exemplary embodiments shown in the figures will already be assembled during the manufacture of the combination module. This combination module does not yet have the standard connection. Only when the type of required standard connection has been determined is the combination module, e.g. B. when installing in a device, with a combination socket of the desired standard. Of course, it is also possible to put the combination socket on during the manufacture of the combination module. Furthermore, an already installed combination socket can be removed and replaced by a combination socket of another connection standard.
