A device according to any of claims 1-4, characterised in that the hooking surfaces (18, 23) of the co-operating hooking blocks (11, 12) are spaced apart from one another by a gapping (24) considerably smaller than their relative surface covering (25), the ratio preferably being 1:4, while the hooking engagement between the hooking surfaces (18, 23) is at least equal to the gapping (24) (Figs. 2 and 3).

A device according to any of claims 1-5 for windows or doors or the like whose moving member and frame members or arms are in the form of metal sections formed with cut-back grooves or channels to retain fittings, characterised in that the hooking blocks (11, 12) each have cut-back bottom parts (15,19) whose profile cross-section matches the cut-back grooves or channels (13, 14), and the positioning bars (6) of the positioning bar fitting (5) have on their edges entraining abutments (20) adapted to the bottom parts (19) of the associated hooking blocks (12) (Fig. 2-4).
