Base housing 18 defines through passage 24 passing in vertical direction 22, and having a first cross-sectional area greater than a cross-sectional area of chimney stack 12. Through passage 24, as is clearly seen in Figure 3, is defined by the walls of the housing 18 in combination with external wall 16 of the building 14. As is the case of all of the housings to be described in following paragraphs, base housing 18 may have an external surface of simulated brick as is shown by element 26. Brick-like covering 26 is formed of the same materials as the remaining portions of base housing 18, and may be moulded to provide the aesthetic appeal of a conventional brick-like appearance.

  • chimney stack 12 is vertically oriented within cap housing 120 and there is formed continuous through passage 92, as has previously been described.
  • Cap housing 120 may be formed in two parts as shown in Figure 8. These comprise a lower cap housing member 132 and upper cap housing member 134, which are snap-fitted together by cap tongue 136 being inserted within groove 138. Lower cap member 132 and upper cap member 134 each may be formed in one piece and may be moulded from a plastic composition such as that previously described for other sections of chimney facade 10 and together provide the overall contour and general aesthetic effect of an upper chimney section as is commonly recongized.
  • Upper cap member 134 may include a further internal flange 140 at its upper end in the event that other sectional elements need be mounted thereon.

Claims (10)

1. Vorgefertigte Schornsteinfassade zur Anbringung an der Außenwand eines Gebäudes zum Einschließen eines Schornsteinschachtes (12), der au- Berhalb der Wand hochläuft, wobei die Schornsteinfassade einen vorgefertigten kanalförmigen Aufbau (10) aufweist mit einem im allgemeinen U-förmigen Querschnitt, wobei der Aufbau eine Vorderwand (32, 56, 80) und zwei einstückige, gegenüberliegende Seitenwände (28, 30; 52, 54; 76, 78) vorsieht, die an ihren entfernten Enden mit Anbringmitteln (34, 68, 96) der Fassade an der Gebäudewand versehen sind, um den Schornsteinschacht einzuschließen, und die Innenquerschnittsfläche der Fassade größer als die Querschnittsfläche des Schornsteinschachtes (12) innerhalb der Fassade mit einem dazwischenliegenden Luftraum aufgenommen wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Fassade eine Mehrzahl von vorgefertigten Bausteinen (18, 44, 74) aufweist, deren jeder einen im allgemeinen U-förmigen Querschnitt hat und eine Vorderwand (32, 56, 80) sowie zwei einstückige, gegenüberliegende Seitenwände (28, 30; 52, 54; 76, 78) vorsieht und jeder an den entfernten Enden der Seitenwände mit Anbringmitteln (34, 68, 96) der einzelnen Bausteine an der Gebäudewand in übereinanderliegender Lage versehen ist, wodurch der Schornsteinschacht (12) längs seiner ganzen Höhe eingeschlossen wird, die Bausteine ferner mit Verbindungsmitteln (58, 60, 86, 90) der Bausteine (18, 44, 74) aneinander in übereinandergesetzter Lage versehen sind, die Fassade einen ersten Baustein in der Form eines Grundbausteines (18) aufweist, der eine Querschnittsfläche hat, die wesentlich größer als die des Schomsteinschachtes (12) ist, und an der Aussenwand des Gebäudes am Grundniveau anbringbar ist und an diesem Niveau von einem vorbereiteten Fundament (20) neben der Gebäudeaussenwand zu haltern ist, wobei der Grundbaustein (18) mit Verbindungsmitteln (38) des Grundbausteines mit dem vorbereiteten Fundament (20) versehen ist, und ein zweiter Baustein einen verjüngten Übergangsbaustein (44) aufweist, der an der Gebäudewand unmittelbar über dem Grundbaustein (18) anbringbar und mit diesem durch die Verbindungsmittel (58, 60) verbunden ist, der Übergangsbaustein eine erste Querschnittsfläche und Querschnittsform an seinem unteren Ende hat, die im wesentlichen gleich der Querschnittsfläche und -form des Grundbausteins (18) sind, und an seinem oberen Ende eine zweite Querschnittsfläche hat, die erheblich kleiner ist als die Querschnittsfläche des unteren Endes des Grundbausteines (18) und sich an diese annähert, aber noch größer ist als die Querschnittsfläche des Schachtes (12).
2. Schomsteinfassade nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie mindestens einen weiteren Baustein (72) aufweist, der mit Befestigungsmitteln (96, 90) für den Baustein an der Au- Benwand (16) des Gebäudes (14) und an dem Übergangsbaustein (44) versehen ist, wobei dieser weitere Baustein ähnlich einen kanalförmigen Querschnitt hat, um den Schacht (12) über dem Niveau des Übergangsbausteines (44) einzuschließen, und eine Querschnittsfläche hat, die im wesentlichen gleich der des Übergangsbausteines (44) in seinem oberen Ende ist.

Schornsteinfassade nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie einen weiteren Baustein (102) aufweist, der mit Befestigungsmitteln (110, 112) für diesen weiteren Baustein an einem anderen, unmittelbar darunter angeordneten Baustein versehen ist, wobei dieser weitere Baustein (102) einen rechteckförmigen Kastenabschnitt hat, um den Schacht (12) über dem Niveau des Gebäudedaches einzuschließen, wobei der Kastenabschnitt eine Querschnittsfläche hat, die im wesentlichen gleich der des Übergangsbausteines (44) an seinem oberen Ende ist.
4. Schornsteinfassade nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der weitere Baustein aus zwei L-förmigen, eng zusammengeschlossenen Wandfeldern (104, 106) aufgebaut ist.

Schornsteinfassade nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie einen Mauerkronenbaustein (120) aufweist, der mit Mitteln (122) versehen ist zum Befestigen des Mauerkronenbausteines am oberen Ende der zusammengebauten Fassade, wobei der Mauerkronenbaustein einen rechteckigen Kastenabschnitt hat, um das obere Ende des Schachtes (12) einzuschließen, und der Kastenabschnitt eine Querschnittsfläche hat, die im wesentlichen gleich der des Übergangsbausteines (44) an seinem oberen Ende ist.

Schomsteinfassade nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Anbringmittel der Bausteine (18, 44, 74) am Gebäude Flansche (34, 68, 96) aufweisen, die seitlich nach außen aus den vertikalen Kanten jedes Bausteines (18, 44, 74) herausstehen und mit Löchern (36, 70, 96) für den Durchgang von Nägeln, Bolzen oder anderen Befestigungsvorrichtungen in die Gebäudewand hinein versehen sind,

Schornsteinfassade nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verbindungsmittel der Bausteine (18, 44, 74, 104, 120) miteinander und/oder mit dem vorbereiteten Fundament (20) nach einwärts gerichtete Flansche (58, 60,86,90,110,112,114,122,124,126) aufweisen, die in Flucht liegende Bolzenhölzer (64,88,116,118,128, 130) für den Durchgang von Befestigungsbolzen (62) haben.

Schornsteinfassade nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Grundbaustein (18) mindestens einen Innenflansch (42) hat, der sich horizontal dortherum erstreckt, um die Festigkeit des Grundbausteines (18) zu erhöhen, wobei der Flansch oder die Flansche (42) sich im wesentlichen längs der Seitenwände (28, 30) des Grundbausteines (18) und längs der Vorderwand (32) erstrecken.
9. Schornsteinfassade nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Grundbaustein (18) eine Vielzahl solcher Flansche (42) hat, die sich innen dortherum erstrecken und über die Vertikalhöhe des Grundbausteines im Abstand voneinander angeordnet sind.
10. Schornsteinfassade nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Bausteine jeweils aus geformtem Kunststoffmaterial aufgebaut sind.
