Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for treating, in particular for cleaning, polishing and sanding surfaces, as stated in the preamble of claim 1.
- a known device of this type EP-A-0 111 720
- the eccentric swing weight is attached directly to the motor shaft.
- this disadvantageously leads to an excessive load on the motor bearings and thus to a reduced service life of the motor.
- a dust-extracting fan rotor can be driven by the motor shaft in addition to the eccentric flywheel for a dust catcher arranged on the device housing, in addition, both the eccentric flywheel weight or the tool and the dust-extracting fan rotor are always driven at the same drive speed .
- the object of the invention is to eliminate the disadvantages mentioned. This object is achieved by the features stated in the characterizing part of claim 1.
- a symmetrical arrangement of the vibrating mass in particular by dividing the eccentric swing weight on at least two countershaft gears of a reduction gear, which are arranged symmetrically to the motor shaft and are movable in the same direction, achieves a uniform swinging out of the tool and thus also a transmission of the vibrations to the Device housing avoided.
- such a device can also be designed so that it can be used for dust extraction both alternatively and simultaneously, whereby in both cases different drive speeds for the tool and the dust-extracting fan rotor are possible.
- the advantages that can be achieved by the invention are therefore essentially to be seen in a longer service life and in further possible uses of the drive system mentioned at the beginning.
- FIG. 1 shows in cross section an inventive device for treatment, for. B. for cleaning surfaces or the like.
- FIG. 2 in cross section the device according to FIG. 1 with an additional dust extraction device, for cleaning or the like with simultaneous dust extraction
- FIG. 3 in cross section a variant of the device according to FIG. 1 for cleaning or.
- FIG. 4 shows in cross section a dust collection device for FIG. 3 that can be used for the purpose of dust extraction.
- the device shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 3 essentially consists of the housing 2 and a drive unit 3 for the tool 1, which is mounted on the housing 2 such that it can vibrate, and is motor-unbalanced.
- the housing 2 is perpendicular to the cutting plane in three parts 10, 11, 12 divided, which parts are connected by the screws 9 - represented by lines of symmetry.
- the drive unit 3 consists of the electric motor 5, the shaft 13, which projects from the motor housing, drives the eccentric flywheel 4 and a tool holder 8 fastened to the side of the flywheel 4 on the motor housing 5 by the bracket 7 and the screws 6 Cup-shaped tool carrier 8, the tool 1 designed as a cleaning brush can be used by means of the snap coupling 22.
- the drive unit 3 is swingably held on the housing 2 by three oscillating elements 15 arranged symmetrically between the housing end 12 and the tool carrier 8 and a self-aligning bearing 14 arranged on the housing part 10 in the axial direction of the motor 1 and will thereby execute a circular oscillating movement which transmits the tool 1 becomes.
- oscillating elements 15 arranged symmetrically between the housing end 12 and the tool carrier 8 and a self-aligning bearing 14 arranged on the housing part 10 in the axial direction of the motor 1 and will thereby execute a circular oscillating movement which transmits the tool 1 becomes.
- electrical devices on the housing 2 such as the on / off switch 17 and the charging socket 18 for a plurality of rechargeable battery batteries 16 arranged in the device.
- FIGS. 2 and 3 show, if necessary, the drive unit 3, etc.
- a dust-extracting fan rotor 31 can also be additionally arranged for a dust-collecting device 40 that can be used on the device.
- the eccentric swing weight 4 of the drive unit 3 is on the tool holder 8, etc. is rotatably mounted on the axles 35 and 24 and can be driven by the motor shaft 13 via the clutch 29 or the reduction gear 21. ( Figure 3 or 1 and, 2).
- the flywheel weight 4 is distributed to two identical countershafts 20, 20 'of the reduction gear 21. These are in one plane and symmetrical to one another on the tool carrier 8, etc. on the axles 24 together with the flywheel parts 4 rotatably and are driven by the pinion 19 attached to the motor shaft 13.
- FIG. 2 additionally shows the device according to FIG. 1 with the dust extraction device 31, '40, with the aid of which dust extraction can also be carried out at the same time.
- the annular extension 23 for the fan rotor 31 is provided on the tool carrier 8.
- the blower rotor 31 located below the reduction gear 21 is connected by means of the screw 42 to the toothed pinion 19 fastened to the motor shaft 13.
- the tool 1, which is designed as a cleaning brush, can be used on the annular extension 23 by means of the snap coupling 22.
- the cleaning brush 1 has at least one through-opening 41 leading to the suction opening 32 of the blower rotor 31, which through a radial opening on the tool carrier 8, etc. outlet opening 44 arranged on the ring-shaped extension 23 and the flexible connection 45 is connected to the dust collecting device 40 arranged on the housing 2 so that it can flow through.
- the flywheel weight 4 can be driven via the clutch 29 in FIG.
- the coupling 29 is designed to be releasable in accordance with a further development of the invention, the releasable coupling part 29 'with the eccentric swing weight 4 being rotatably mounted on the axis 35 of a base plate 28 which can be removed on the tool carrier 8.
- Tool carrier 8 and base plate 28 are formed with the threaded or bayonet lock 27 for this purpose. You can not only easily attach swing weights 4 of different sizes to change the effect of the device, but also make it much easier to convert the device to vacuuming.
- a dust-extracting fan rotor 31 is additionally arranged on the motor shaft 13 in a manner known per se, the hub 30 of which, in a further development according to the invention, is also designed as the further part of the releasable clutch 29.
- a cover 33 which closes the suction opening 32 of the blower rotor 31 and, according to another further development of the invention, is rotatably mounted together with the flywheel weight 4 on the axis 35 of the removable base plate 28.
- the cover 33 is made of an elastic material, e.g. B. made of foam and can be glued to the swing weight 4.
- FIG. 4 shows the dust collecting device 40 suitable for this.
- This consists essentially of the dust collecting container 37 with a handle 38 and the dust filter 39 which can be inserted into the dust collecting container 37.
- the dust collecting container 37 is formed with a closure part 27 which is identical to the base plate 28.
