Abstract

Système de maintien d'un rouleau de pellicule plastique étirable (1), consistant à prévoir, sur la longueur totale du mandrin, une zone suffisamment large pour permettre le passage d'au moins une main, cette zone étant recouverte d'un manchon fendu (5), laissant normalement librement tourner le mandrin pendant le déroulage du film, et pouvant être comprimé à la main sur le mandrin, pour freiner sa rotation pendant l'étirage du film.

Description

  • La présente invention concerne la manipulation des produits présentés en rouleaux et plus particulièrement des pellicules en matière plastique destinées à l'emballage des produits les plus divers.
  • La déposante a déjà décrit, dans son brevet français 85/10274 les problèmes soulevés par l'utilisateur de ces rouleaux : pour emballer un produit donné, l'opérateur immobilise l'extrémité libre de la pellicule en un point du produit, et enroule ensuite cette pellicule tout autour du produit, en la déroulant au fur et à mesure du rouleau, jusqu'à ce que l'emballage soit achevé, à la suite de quoi le produit se trouve enfermé dans un volume de pellicule adhérant sur elle-même.
  • Comme indiqué dans ce brevet antérieur, l'inconvénient et la difficulté de cette technique, par ailleurs commode et efficace, viennent du poids et des dimensions du rouleau, surtout au début de son utilisation, poids auquel vient s'ajouter le poids d'un appareil dérouleur lourd et peu maniable. En effet, l'opérateur doit alors à la fois déplacer le rouleau et l'appareil dérouleur autour du produit et le faire tourner sur lui-même pour en dérouler la pellicule. L'absence de toute prise sur le manchon rend cette opération pénible et fatigante et peu précise.
  • Ledit brevet antérieur apportait une première solution à ce problème, grâce à des embouts spécialement conçus pour s'adapter aisément à l'intérieur du manchon de carton, et permettre ensuite de manipuler le rouleau autour du produit en en déroulant et étirant la pellicule avec facilité et précision.
  • La présente invention concerne une variante de ce moyen, présentant l'avantage d'assurer non seulement le maintien du mandrin mais aussi son freinage, en vue de provoquer un étirement de la pellicule.
  • Par ailleurs l'invention vise un nouveau mode d'utilisation de ces pellicules, permettant d'atteindre une solution à un problème bien connu, à savoir celui de l'aération, souvent nécessaire, de produits par ailleurs maintenus sans film étirable étanche. Cette solution consiste, selon l'invention, à substituer aux rouleaux de pellicule de grande largeur, des bobines de pellicule beaucoup plus étroites, pouvant être désignées par "lanières", et dont l'enroulement autour des produits, suivant deux hélices croisées, assure le maintien dudit produit et en même temps laisse subsister entre deux tours des vides permettant l'aération du produit.
  • L'invention vise donc en premier lieu, un nouveau système de maintien d'un rouleau de pellicule plastique étirable, consistant à prévoir, sur la longueur totale du mandrin, une zone suffisamment large pour permettre le passage d'au moins une main, cette zone étant recouverte d'un manchon fendu, laissant normalement librement tourner le mandrin pendant le déroulage du film, et pouvant être comprimé à la main sur le mandrin, pour freiner sa rotation, pendant l'étirage du film.
  • Selon une première réalisation, le mandrin porte un seul rouleau de film, et son prolongement se présente sous forme d'une poignée sur laquelle est enfilé ledit manchon, une butée ou un rebord empêchant ledit manchon de s'échapper.
  • Selon une seconde variante, le mandrin porte deux rouleaux de film, séparés par une zone sur laquelle est placé ledit manchon, le système se présentant sous l'aspect d'une haltère.
  • En second lieu l'invention vise un nouveau procédé d'emballage de produits susceptibles de donner lieu à une condensation, soit par leur nature, tels que fruits, légumes, produits de la mer et analogues, soit à la suite de changements de température, tels que les produits emballés à la suite d'une cuisson ou d'un étuvage, par exemple les yaourts, ce procédé consistant à enrouler autour de ces produits une bande étroite de film étirable, de manière que cet enroulement assure le maintien du produit tout en laissant subsister entre les spires de cette bande des zones non recouvertes, et permettant l'aération et la respiration du produit.
  • On va maintenant décrire l'invention plus en détail en se référant au dessin annexé, sur lequel :
    • - la figure 1 représente en perspective le premier mode de réalisation de l'invention ;
    • - la figure 2 est une vue de face du second mode de réalisation de l'invention et,
    • - la figure 3 illustre le nouveau mode d'emballage selon l'invention.
  • On a représenté à la figure 1 un rouleau de film plastique étirable 1, sur son mandrin support 2. Selon l'invention, ce mandrin 2 se prolonge en 3 pour former une poignée ayant au moins la largeur d'une main 4, et sur ce prolongement est enfilé un manchon 5 fendu en 6 le long d'une génératrice, et ayant au repos un diamètre légèrement supérieur à celui du mandrin 2..Un rebord 7 empêche le manchon de s'échapper.
  • L'utilisation de ce système est la suivante : l'opérateur déroule le film 1 autour du produit à emballer, en laissant le mandrin et le rouleau tourner librement dans le manchon 5. Pour étirer le film, par exemple en début ou fin d'opération, il suffit de comprimer le manchon 5 sur le mandrin 2 pour le freiner. Généralement le mandrin est en carton. Le manchon peut être également en carton, ou en matière plastique souple.
  • Le système de la figure 2 est semblable, mais symétrique : le mandrin 2 porte deux rouleaux de films 1 et 1', et la zone de maintien 3 est située au milieu. Le manchon fendu 5 est donc simplement placé sur cette zone 3 en écartant élastiquement la fente 6, et ne peut plus s'échapper.
  • On peut alors utiliser les rouleaux 1 et l' soit successivement, soit simultanément, de la même manière que précédemment.
  • La figure 3 montre, à titre d'exemple, une série de quatre pots de yaourts 10, 11, 12, 13 réunis par une bande de carton 14, et emballés conformément à l'invention par deux lanières 15 et 16 en film étirable, la lanière 15 étant enroulée en hélice dans un sens, et la lanière 16 étant enroulée en sens contraire.
  • Les spires de ces deux lanières s'entrecroisent en laissant subsister entre elles des zones libres 17. Il en résulte que les pots 10-14, tout en étant parfaitement maintenus, ne sont cependant pas privés d'aération, ce qui permet à l'humidité de s'échapper au lieu de se condenser sur l'emballage, comme c'est le cas lors de l'emballage complètement étanche du moyen d'une pellicule continue de grande largeur.
  • Bien entendu le cas particulier illustré par la figure 3 ne présente aucun caractère limitatif, notamment quant aux dimensions des produits emballés par le procédé selon l'invention.
  • En particulier il doit être clair que ce système s'applique notamment à la palettisation d'objets ou de charges sur palettes.

Claims (4)

1. Système de maintien d'un rouleau de pellicule plastique étirable, consistant à prévoir, sur la longueur totale du mandrin, une zone suffisamment large pour permettre le passage d'au moins une main, cette zone étant recouverte d'un manchon fendu, laissant normalement librement tourner le mandrin pendant le déroulage du film, et pouvant être comprimé à la main sur le mandrin, pour freiner sa rotation, pendant l'étirage du film.
2. Système selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le mandrin porte un seul rouleau de film, et son prolongement se présente sous forme d'une poignée sur laquelle est enfilé ledit manchon, une butée ou un rebord empêchant ledit manchon de s'échapper.
3. Système selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le mandrin porte deux rouleaux de film, séparés par une zone sur laquelle est placé ledit manchon, le système se présentant sous l'aspect d'une haltère.
4. Procédé pour l'emballage de produits susceptibles de donner lieu à une condensation, soit par leur nature, tels que fruits, légumes, produits de la mer et analogues, soit à la suite de changements de température, tels que les produits emballés à la suite d'une cuisson ou d'un étuvage, par exemple les yaourts, ce procédé consistant à enrouler autour de ces produits une bande étroite de film étirable, de manière que cet enroulement assure le maintien du produit tout en laissant subsister entre les spires de cette bande des zones non recouvertes, et permettant l'aération et la respiration du produit.
