Description

The invention relates to an espagnolette lock with a latch and at least one espagnolette emerging from the lock case, which is connected to a push rod connecting slide which is limited in the lock case and which can be extended and locked in this position by rotating an internal turning handle nut - in the opposite direction of rotation to the normal opening-direction of rotation and in which the connecting rod connecting slide is additionally displaceable with an external turning handle for an external turning handle.

Such an embodiment is known from DE-AS 2 605 763, the inner turning handle nut and the outer turning handle nut being arranged one above the other. The latch nut coupled with the internal turning handle is designed in two parts. If it is turned in one direction, the trap is pulled back. When the latch nut is turned in the other direction, the latch stops and the connecting rod connecting slide is moved into the closed position. The drive rod connecting slide can be returned to the open position from the outside turning handle if the connecting rod connecting slide is not blocked.

The object of the invention is based on the object of specifying a generic espagnolette lock of higher security value in such a way that manipulations of the external turning handle to avoid the lock function are excluded.

This object is achieved in that the internal turning handle nut is designed as a gear which meshes with the toothed rack of a slide which is in slit / pin engagement with the connecting rod connecting slide in such a way that the pin of the slide in the opening basic position of the internal turning handle in the area of a direction reversal point of the Espagnolette connecting slide slot lies.

As a result of such a configuration, the security value of a drive rod lock of the generic type is increased. The proper locking function cannot be avoided. If an attempt is made to move the connecting rod connecting slide to the open basic position at high speed, the inner turning handle is also taken in the opening direction. However, the kinetic energy emanating from this does not cause the trap to retract. The movement of the connecting rod connecting slide caused by the external turning handle is in fact opposite to the movement caused by the kinetic energy of the internal turning handle and the components carried by it. This results in a clear braking effect, so that the espagnolette lock can also be equipped with much heavier components that are carried along. The trouble-free retraction in the basic opening position of the latch by means of the internal turning handle can be carried out without problems, however, with a slight displacement of the connecting rod connecting slide, caused by the pin of the slide equipped with the toothed bar, which toothing bar engages with the teeth of the inner turning handle.

An advantageous development consists in the fact that the slide is of an angular design, its toothed strip is formed on a leg lying in the same direction as the falling movement and the pin has at the end of the other angle leg lying parallel to the movement of the connecting rod connecting slide. The structure can therefore be made spatially small, so that the overall structure of the espagnolette lock can be achieved with a small size.

It is furthermore advantageous that the internal turning handle nut, designed as a gear, is mounted with clearance in a concentric opening of a latch retracting arm. When the latch is pulled back by pushing the latch, only the latch retracting arm is taken along. An oppositely directed displacement of the internal turning handle nut or the gear then only requires control of the angular slide.

Furthermore, it is advantageous in terms of locking technology that a circumferential toothing of the external turning handle intermeshes with the toothed strip of a push bolt that can be excluded from the faceplate. Simultaneously with the control of the connecting rod connecting slide from the open basic position into the closed position, the slide bolt is locked in synchronism. The outside turning handle therefore fulfills a double function.

Then it proves to be advantageous that the external turning handle has two circumferential toothings, located on different levels, one of which meshes with the toothed bar of the slide bolt and the other with an edge toothing of the connecting rod connecting slide. This measure helps to save on components. Furthermore, it can be made spatially small, which accommodates a small structure of the connecting rod lock without the stability suffering as a result. So it is e.g. possible to use a drive rod lock designed in this way even in tubular frame doors.

Improved guidance of the slider and a turnstile of the latch retraction arm is achieved in that the leg of the slider has at its free end a projection which engages in a slot of the latch retraction arm open towards the rear lock housing narrow edge. The projection only leaves the slot when the latch is actuated by means of the internal turning handle in order to enable the latch retracting arm to be rotated.

Finally, there is an advantageous feature that, in the closed position of the drive rod lock, the locking tooth of a locking member which can be displaced in the direction of the faceplate by key actuation engages in the edge teeth. In this way, a strong lock is achieved that withstands high push-back forces.

The ratchet tooth 14 acts together with an edge toothing 17 of a connecting rod connecting slide 18 which can be displaced parallel to the faceplate. Its ends are in coupling engagement with the connecting rod sections 19 and 20. To guide the connecting rod connecting slide 18, a bolt 21 on the lock housing side and a projection 22 on the bottom of the lock bottom serve the purpose Immerse in longitudinal slots of the connecting rod connecting slide 18.

The edge toothing 17 is also in engagement with the circumferential toothing 23 of an external turning handle nut 24 which is mounted in the lock housing and which is coupled to the external turning handle 25. On the level closer to the castle ceiling 3, the external turning handle 24 has a further circumferential toothing 26. The latter meshes with a transmission wheel 27 which is mounted in a fixed manner in the lock housing. The transmission wheel 27 is in meshing engagement with the toothed strip 28 of a slide bolt 29 which penetrates a corresponding opening in the faceplate 2.

The lower change lever part 7 "is in pin / slot engagement with the locking member 15, so that when it is shifted, the change lever part 7" is pivoted.

Above the external turning handle 24, an internal turning handle 30 is mounted in the lock housing 1, which in turn is coupled to the internal turning handle 31. Regarding the latter, it is a normal door handle. The inner rotating handle nut 30 is designed as a gearwheel and is mounted with free access in a concentric opening 32 of a latch retraction arm 33 which engages the latch tail 5 "loaded by a torsion spring 34. The latch retracting arm 33 is in a known manner under the action of a nut spring (not shown) which it If the nut 30 is rotated clockwise, the latch retractor arm 33 is carried along. When the nut 30 is displaced in the other direction, the latch retractor arm 33 remains stationary due to the clearance.

Hierdurch bildet der Schlitz 40 eine Richtungs-Umkehrstelle 43.The toothing of the inside turning handle nut 30 acts together with the toothed strip 35 of an angularly shaped slide 36. The toothed strip is located on the leg 37 lying in the same direction as the falling movement. Narrow edge open slot 33 'of the latch retractor arm 33 is immersed. At the end of the other angle leg 38, which is parallel to the movement of the connecting rod connecting slide 18, there is a pin 39 which projects into an angular slot 40 of the connecting rod connecting slide 18. The longer slot section 41 extends almost over the entire width of the connecting rod connecting slide and runs obliquely upwards from the bottom to the left in the direction of the latch head 5 '. A shorter slot section 42 adjoins the slot section 41 in an obtuse-angled extent. It runs inclined upwards from left to right and includes an angle of about 20 ° to the horizontal. As a result, the slot 40 forms a reversal point 43.

The width of the slot sections 41, 42 corresponds approximately to the diameter of the pin 39. The flanks of the slot sections 41, 42 which meet at the reversal point 43 are connected to one another by a curved section 44. Its radius is equal to or smaller than the radius of the pin 39.

Fig. 6. This results in the following mode of action: The latch 5 can be in the basic opening position according to FIG. 3 operate using the internal turning handle 31. During their rotation in the direction of arrow x, the latch retraction arm 33 is pivoted via the inner turning handle nut 30, which in turn pulls the latch 5 into the lock, see FIG. 6. Here, the projection 37 'of the leg 37 leaves the slot 33' of the drop-back arm and allows it to pivot. If the inner rotating handle 31 is released, the torsion spring 34 returns the latch to its closed position, while the nut spring assigned to the latch retracting arm 33 returns the falling retracting arm with the inner rotating handle nut 30 and slide 36 to the starting position.

The latch 5 can also be pulled into the lock housing from the outside of the door. The lock bit 10 then acts on the lower end of the change lever part 7 ". At the same time, the upper change lever part 7 'pivots about the standing pin 8 and, due to the pin / slot engagement, shifts the latch 5 in the direction of the lock. After the change operation has taken place, the change lever parts always return to their starting position.

Fig. 8. If the espagnolette lock is to be brought into the closed position, the espagnolette connecting slide 18 can be moved into the position illustrated in FIG. 7 by shifting the inside or outside of the rotary handle. If this displacement is carried out by means of the external turning handle 25, namely by turning counterclockwise, the drive rod connecting slide 18 is carried along in the downward direction via the peripheral toothing 23. Due to the slot / pin engagement 39, 40 there is a movement of the angular slide 36 in the direction of the faceplate 2. Along with the toothed strip 35, the inside turning handle nut 30 is pivoted, namely in the position shown in FIG. 7, so that the inside turning handle 31 is then approximately vertical stands. During this process, the projection 37 'of the slide 36 moves further into the horizontally oriented slot 33' of the latch retracting arm and forms a backstop for the latter. At the same time, the transmission wheel 27, which has locked the slide bolt 29, was rotated by the circumferential toothing 26 lying on the other plane. If the drive rod is displaced by the internal turning handle nut 30, this also causes the slide 36 to be displaced in the direction of the faceplate 2. The slide rod / pin engagement 39, 40 causes the connecting rod connecting slide to move downward, its edge teeth 17 rotating the outer turning handle nut 24. Their circumferential toothing 26 closes the slide bolt 29 via the transmission wheel 27. This position can now be secured by key actuation. For this purpose, the lock bit 10 is to be turned counterclockwise. He lifts the tumbler 12 and moves the locking member 15 in the direction of the faceplate 2, in which case the locking tooth 14 of the locking member 15 engages in the toothing 17 of the connecting rod connecting slide 18, see FIG. 8. The tumbler 12 moves downwards again and secures this forward position of the locking member 15. The latter has also pivoted the change lever part 7 "so that it lies outside the path of movement of the locking bit.

If the espagnolette lock is to be opened, the locking member 15 is to be brought into its starting position by turning the locking bar 10 in the opposite direction, the locking tooth 14 of which leaves the toothing 17. The starting position according to FIG. 3 can now be brought about by means of the inside turning handle or the outside turning handle.

Even if the external turning handle 25 is rotated from this position at high speed, the closing function cannot be avoided. When the drive rod connecting slide 18 is then moved upward in connection with entrainment of the inner rotary handle 31, the pin 39 of the slide reaches the direction reversal point 43 in the slot 40. Any kinetic energy emanating from the inner rotary handle 31 then has the consequence that the slide 36 also his pin 39 wants to move in the direction of arrow y. However, due to the rising lower edge 42 'of the slot portion 42, a downward displacement of the connecting rod connecting slide is effected, so that this downward displacement counteracts the upward displacement of the connecting rod connecting slide 18 caused by the Au-bend handle. However, since the upward shift takes place with greater force, a real braking effect occurs, so that even heavily shaped internal turning handles do not lead to any shifting of the opening or to retraction of the latch 5.
