4. Computer workstation according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the display screen unit (19) is mounted so as to be rotatably adjustable about a substantially vertical axis (28).

Computer workstation according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the protective screen (glass panel 77) is elongate and, more especially, extends parallel to the front end (80) of the table, and in that the visual display unit (19) is provided so as to be displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the protective screen (77).
6. 9. Computer workstation according to claim 8, characterised in that the supporting members (87) are provided so as to be pivotable onto the lower surface of the filler plate (86), more especially pivotable into, and preferably lockable in, recessed portions provided therein.

Computer workstation according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that at least one operating unit, such as input unit (21), telephone (93), modem (94) or the like, is guided on a substantially horizontally displaceable extension (91, 92) so as to be displaceable between the position of rest and the operational position.
11. Computer workstation according to claim 1 or 10, characterised in that a document printer (23), more especially having a storage box (58) for storing printing paper, is mounted on an extension (57), which is provided laterally of the seat of the operator.
12. Computer workstation according to claim 1, characterised in that the table frame (1) is formed by metal tubes having a cross-section which is, more especially, square and, at least in the upper end region, said frame is provided with guide rails (5,13), which are incorporated, more especially, in the supporting structure of the table frame, for guiding the visual display unit.
13. Computer workstation according to one of claims 1 to 12, characterised in that the table-top (2) is generally inclined in a desk-like manner, more especially at an angle of 10° to 15° relative to the horizontal.
14. Computer workstation according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the table-top (2) rests on the edge of a flat, parallelepiped box-like table construction (123), which is open at its upper end and in which the mechanical and electrical installation equipment and most of the required unit assemblies (10, 19, 21) are securely accommodated.
15. Computer workstation according to claim 14, characterised in that the box-like table construction (123) rests on two lateral box-like supporting members (124, 125), which are provided for the accommodation of additional unit assemblies (23).

Computer workstation according to claim 14 or 15, characterised in that the inner surface of the box-like table construction (123), and possibly the box-like supporting members (124, 125), are coated with a layer of electrically conductive material, more especially a metal foil, which is earthed in the same way as are the individual unit assemblies (10, 19,21).
17. Computer workstation according to claim 14, 15 or 16, characterised in that the interior of the box-like table construction (123), and possibly the box-like supporting members (124, 125), are provided with a ventilation arrangement which includes, for example, a fan (117).
18. Computer workstation according to claim 17, characterised in that the ventilation arrangement has at least one Peltier element (118).
